I always have a laugh when some (usually third worlder) posts something really ridiculous in broken english.

The other day for instance I created a thread about McAfee's assassination attempt, which is a serious matter, and what was the first reply that the thread got? You can guess it:

I want that, this can be an action on the action, not an action to kill the die, but even back away, I'm also very good for a trust information on the development of the digital numbers!

Im still trying to understand what he was trying to say. Such is life in the digital numbers forum.

Can I to use your account for bounty report?

Posted mere minutes ago this one made me laugh.  If I read it correctly a banned user is asking if he can use hilarousandco's account for bounty reports...

I always wondered how Hilarious got his name. Smiley

Here is a necro-shitpost that made me laugh for some inexplicable reason:

Worst of all, the worst is to give the company to a playboy.

As one could probably expect, shitposting being a serious business and all, there are shitposting guides on the intertubes. Here is one:

Let's grab a random question from that article:

These shitbags are probably worse than the shitposters why TRY to post something of their own, mangled and garbled as it may be. These lazy bastards just copy and paste and hope that nobody will notice the blatant plagiarism.

I don’t think anyone reasonably thinks I am anything close to a shot poster

I don't know what a "shot poster" is but you're certainly shitposting right here... unless you think your posts are "so bad that they are actually funny" and therefore on topic, in which case I apologize for misunderstanding your sense of humor.

Try to activate notification from Altcoin Bounty, some people created topics for reporting or applying to their bounty campaign, like their facebook share, twitter retweet, or even their email address. At first I thought it was funny and hilarious, but later on, it get more often, annoying, then I turned of my notification.

Where did you get this figure from?
From his ass, where do you think?  And he's a huge shitposter as well, of the worst kind--no English, nothing useful or interesting to say, and driven to post here by signature earnings.  I've got him on ignore.

People may not earn merits for many reasons, but at this point in the game anyone who's not a complete shitposter, a noob, or an inactive account should have earned at least one, and I'd estimate the percentage of shitposters relative to the entire member pool to be well over 10%.
According to the percentage of people receiving merit, the percentage is over 99%.

If this is an accurate representation then more durastic measures need to be implemented, at the very least, those that have not received xx merit by now have their “grandfathered” status revoked. On the other end of the spectrum, the merit system should be abolished and signatures disabled or substantially lowered (maybe only 1-3 lines with no formatting).

For every 1 post deleted you lose your signature for a week. For every 10 posts deleted you lose a merit. (That is worst for grandfathered accounts that only have minimum merit for their rank).
I don’t think anyone reasonably thinks I am anything close to a shot poster, however every now and then I have old bumps I forgot to delete deleted.

Another thing is that most shot posters make substantially all of their posts low effort. They don’t necessarily have a lot if posts deleted, they put very little effort into their posts and clutter up threads with posts that really don’t make sense when looking at the context of the thread.

That's interesting but what about the users who may have engaged in a real conversation at the beginning of, unbeknownst to them, a topic that would become a spam megathread. Say they now only post periodically and not where the merit drops. Should this person come back one day and see they are no longer the rank they had achieved.

There would also be situations where a board was more liberal in it's interpretations of off-topic, but under new moderation they lose a number of posts.

I don't think there will be any arguably fair system to demote the garbage posters who get to hold a higher rank, without dragging in innocent users who deserve their rank.

If you research then you will find out at-least 10% poster posting shit post. You can find them on local thread's post reply, new post on ann and bounty section. And above all all section.
Where did you get this figure from? There is another thread that documents that less than 0.02% of active users have received any merit. It has been argued that everyone who deserves merit has received at least one and that would put the percentage of shit posters at well above 10%.

Villan- hilariousandco-rapped

P.S- some times one shitposter(hilariousandco-rapped) can create funny conversations too.

I believe it is higher than 10% of members do the shit posting, although i dont have any proof to prove what i have said. This is kinda insane. The forum suffers so much damage because a lot of people just want an easy money rather than be someone so good and earn the privilige to get the money in the right way, and be proud of it.

This week I came across a topic talking about Bitcoin Futures. A lot of the posts (if not all) were something like:
Yes, I am sure Bitcoin will have a great future because the tech is awesome.
I believe in the future of Bitcoin because Bitcoin will go to the moon in 2018 sir.
No one can predict the future of Bitcoin but I am confident it will be well adopted.

I left the house...

 Grin

I present to you a few examples of what I am now calling the Haiku bot:

LOL - I've got that stuck in my head like a bad song now. Every shitpost like that now reads like a Haiku.

Many grammar, wow bot.

I just spilled my coffee...snort.

We have somemore here:

Re: what "bitcoin is dead" means?

A lot of time I read people writing "bitcoin is dead".  But what this senteces really means?
when bitcoin can be considered dead?

i will be considered dead, if no one buys it anymore and there is no further hope for speculative income. That will be very soon.

Re: Is bitcoin lead cryptocurrency market forever?

certainly  but the only crypto currency i believe can lead bitcoin in future will be the one created legally and supported government

Re: Facebook removes/Unbans Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency Ads

Yeah right I have heard and see for myself this news, I think this is good news, because Bitcoin has allowed back Bitcoin Ads and Cryptocurrency on Facebook. may Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency grow over time, and the value will be higher.

These are just random pics I found in bitcoin discussion. There are much worse cases than this... But I am not going to waste my time all for nothing.

Someone should make a script, that users, posting combinations like “good project” “ strong team” “ great project” “good article” and etc, in posts that are shorten than 75 characters immediately should be reported.
No use (mostly). Those who use bots to post like that will just change the wording, or will make a small typo (in order not to match the search strings). Mods are already overloaded, and this automated report would generate way much more work for them...

This one is a bit more refined but it's kinda sad that a person who is capable of constructing a sentence and expressing a thought, albeit not perfectly, is choosing to post mind-numbing drivel in the shittiest threads:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/dengineersprof-2084219

I think that it can be regulated looking at the fact that goverments especially the United States of America are trying to avoid money laundering like other world powers. This makes them put their heads together to see to its regulation, like it has started already, policies are already been put in place to avoid fraud and all sorts.

My plans are quite normal like every other person's.

I plan to invest the little I have at the time to yield me some investments over a long period of time and then buy some more if it dips further.

I intend to HODL for a long while and I know it's potentials are rising to the highest to remain there

Bitcoin is beyond the thought of long or short term. I see it as a business. You have to monitor your business regularly and know what to do when you get information that could cause harm to your business. You know when to set extra security, and know when to put in more money to get more profit and know when to withdraw. It's a continuous flow of market.

Doge bot! I love it!  Grin

There is something almost soothing about doge bot posts, though. I might even miss them when the script gets updated/replaced.

I present to you a few examples of what I am now calling the Haiku bot:

I like the construction of this project. Witting logo, engaging design, seamless approach.

Hi, guys. I think it's a great project!
Believable activity, a rather interesting results!

This is a very interesting plan with opportunity!
Excellence activity, riveting project, noticing plan!

This type of post always gives me a chuckle, hence why I submitted some of them to this thread. Still need to be nuked, though.
