Since they cannot control the money flows. This is similar to that they do not like end-to-end encryption in the messaging apps.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies.
Why is that?

The word war is inappropriate to used maybe they are not interested to this. Maybe they don't have any knowledge about it and they feel unsecured because of the hackers and scammers.

Frankly, now more than war I see disinterest; this winter to the usual powers it was necessary to stop the advance of the crypto, to understand what to do.
But now that the situation is stagnant, nobody talks about it anymore.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies.
Why is that?

I think they don't know what is cryptocurrency is. And another thing is market manipulation. big players manipulate the market and small investors loss their money.

Cryptocurrencies generally are emerging technology which the government is trying to figure out a perfect way of adopting it into the main economy. There are also other areas of concern such as tax evasion, money laundering etc, which government wants to block.
No matter what government do they'll fall down. There's no chances of wining against bitcoin i know government want to control bitcoin's price so people can pay tax to them but all in vain. Government can't win.

I am not sure how much governments understand what crypto is, and so how to handle the situation. I personally do not think there is such a big war against crypto, at least not yet.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies.
Why is that?
Because money is a tool to support those who want to evade taxes and money laundering. That is why many countries in Asia levy taxes on electronic money to reduce the number of people entering the market.

Cryptocurrency has been on a fight in most countries nowadays. Bigger countries tend to lose massively since its citizens might invest much in bitcoin  and other alts with the ezpectation of stabilization.
i think it's not lost, but they are required to be patient to wait until price improves again, because at first bitcoin price fluctuated, and bitcoiner had to know it at first

If governments are open to crypto, their country will attract talents and tech skills and far more tax income due to booming innovation wealth.
Well this is a reality and we can take examples of countries like Canada which allowed trading in Bitcoin in the start and till 2013, we had so many innovations around Bitcoin like the BTM which is a Bitcoin ATM. This attracted many people and all of those who would use BTM would actually give away a small fee for using the services and out of that fee, a portion would go as taxes to the government. There are numerous possibilities.

For the governments this is something new and they don't have the necessary tools to control or at least manipulate the market in their interest. Right now it is not a war but instead it's a no recognition situation. We shall see how will this situation evolve.

This is just becoming matter of anger for most of the people around the world where Cryptocurrencies are becoming very much prohibited by their central governments. With ever changing regulations which are becoming even strictest for the cryptocurrency. I am glad sure that people have already began abhorring government for it. All are liking the cryptocurrencies at one point where they can pour currency into it and earn much currency from it. However government is going to come their way and thus halting most of these operations in the method. Now if anyone observes such kind of impression from the government. Then, they will obviously fall for the enrage and may see it as disgust decision made by the government that country. Tongue Tongue Tongue

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies.
Why is that?
This is very understandable because bank services will be eliminated by itself if cryptocurrency is legalized, banking services will begin to be replaced by Crypto as an example only interbank money transfers will definitely be charged, taking money through an ATM will also be charged and other services, all will be replaced by the convenience offered by bitcoin and of course the many conveniences that businesses can get, especially buying and selling between countries, and the government will have difficulty applying taxes to bitcoin, of course the banks in the country do not want to lose the source of income they enjoy during many years.

lol thats funny . local banks wont ever be replaced by so called cryptocurreny because bank is the only legal form of monetary system .

we cannot issue a fiat if we dont have banks and we cannot possibly buy a crypto if we dont have a cash just because we eliminated it  , so do you think the cryptos will still have thier value ?  no right ?

war on cryptos is possible ( i.e if bitcoin have a competitor ) but  war on  a country caused by a cryptos is not believable .

Governments don't comprehend Bitcoin and need to control it. The facts confirm that Bitcoin and different digital forms of money will be troublesome to managing an account as we probably am aware it. This makes them need to keep Bitcoin down. Governments likewise need to ensure they get their assessments from us also.

is it true? do you have strong evidence of your statement, the government in some countries does not forbid or has not received bitcoin but for the war it has not happened, because if it really happens the government has made strict legal regulations, there will be sanctions and certainly many people have been charged because there are so many people joining here

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies.
Why is that?
There is a hidden motive behind these attacks coming from the governments. It is now very obvious that the governments are not siding with crypto because they are scared of the kind of power it gives to the people. Crypto offers financial freedom and elimination of any authoritative central body which controls transactions. The governments always want to have this kind of power.

I think they are at war because they don’t know much about cryptocurrencies and how it could benefit them. Though their focus most of the time is to take tax upon every investors. If they are on war with cryptocurrency, I think they have to know well their opponents to take advantage of it. Hoping that eventually cryptocurrency is not an enemy but an ally for a better economy.
