Look out for the people who arent willing to do escrow. Their will be guys coming on here promising you any gift card but you first must send them money. First sign is low posting number. There is a lot of signs showing someone may be a scam.
it is true that scammers are everywhere but we must remain cautious and if we doubt it better we do not go in, I think escrow is not part of deception but to minimize the occurrence of fraud.

This shouldn't be new information to anyone with common sense or access to these forums. If you're going to get scammed, you're obviously going to get scammed by someone who tries their best to get your money without involving any other people and someone who is able to ghost very quickly. Since people can make accounts here for free and without any IP restrictions, you'll often see people spamming accounts here. I still think there should be some really big sticky somewhere on the marketplace about safer ways to trade (or some warning in large text somewhere).
actually will be very visible when some people are doing a scam. we should have understood the signs or actions of those who would only be scammed because we would have been able to differentiate about just spamming posters and about those with high quality posts. it is the simplest thing to distinguish

This kind of scenario is already familiar with almost all members of this forum, that's why many screw services are made because of this all scammers that are rambling around in this forum. But i don't like the idea of a "low posting number" is a sign of a scam specially for newbies, because all of the members of this forum starts with the rank of a newbie and we all starts with nothing or lacks of knowledge about crypto currency. That's why we inter into this world to know all the best and safest way of earning money using crypto currencies.
Yeah a low post number or your rank is not a sign of being untrustworthy, this assumption is why scammers can get away with many scams by buying accounts, an user may be a newbie but if it has completed many trades with more established members then that is a sign of a trustworthy person but no matter the circumstances when it comes to bitcoin we need to always use escrow.
We should really be vigilant into all people we do make engagements online or making transaction between them. Only trust yourself when it comes to online world and always do seek out for the reputable persons online and if you have doubts we can really use up escrows which is really advisable anytime, might have the fee but its much better than to make a risky trades among other people.

well, we can avoid those fake ico in someways always do some research first before entering or joining a project. always find there whitepaper and read all those significant information that will prove thier good intention in making a project. in that way we can identify if an ico is fake or a long lasting project.

Since the market for Cryptocurrency has grown exponentially, fraud on the internet has become so widespread. The transactions are anonymous so no agency can control the exchange so when investors are cheated or steal property can not be recovered. That raises many cases where hackers infiltrate host systems to steal information and crypto or ransom with crypto. It is a risk that most cryptocurrency investors have to accept this market.

Well using an escrow when dealing of something here is a must if you don't want to be a victim of scamming. However that still depends on your discretion, there are users who easily trust someone and don't think what might happen afterwards unless that particular user that you're dealing with is a green trusted and a higher rank member its an exception for me.

That's im not joining to an any link/website given by them because i don't want my money will loss.
Yes its better to be careful especially nowadays many people are expert in stealing the money of others.

Not only that because scammers as of today tends to become more smarter and smarter on finding ways on deceiving people just to scam money out of them and as a investor or any transactions online we should really be vigilant on possible ways for them to set in. Never ever give them opportunity to scam us and there are lots of ways to avoid and we should really be sensible in our actions.

They are so innovative and finding some ways just to scam people out there and the only thing we need to do really is to became more vigilant on new evolution of scams, And we shouldn't go for to good to be true offers since most likely the people offers behind it are scammers.
This is actually on what happening as of now where we are still confused which ones is legit and which one is totally a scam because they are already good on copying, designing, marketing on a project which you will believe that they are really legit and this is why we do keep on researching until we do find the flaws, just be really active and observe suspicious thing which will really make you avoid on getting scammed.

This is exactly why I invested in https://incremint.io/ - they have created a decentralized escrow platform that protects token buyers investments while bringing credibility to ICOs.

Apart from that, you also get links to click. Behold they are some phishing sites. We have to really be careful and not to be in a haste to make money while they are all traps and nets waiting for who to devour.
The fact is that this trick is still someone will catch. At least I'm not yet very fully aware of all kinds of fraudulent activities, and because of the lack of information I can always suffer. But I try to be careful.

Imagine people will not meet each other personally and don't know each other. They could just easily avoid once scam transaction is over.

Actually not all newbies or new users are doing scams it is not based on their post count. Let me give you a scenario what if a head company only heard the bitcointalk forum just recently and make an account in order to hire managers to work for them? See? here are some of the signs you need to observe in order to avoid scams.

1. No matter what the rank is if he's willing to do transaction with escrow. It's legit.
2. Look for the quality of his/her posts. You will know if he/she is a professional by looking at his/her post (Not all some of the big companies tries to scam too.)
3. Look for his/her background information (But of course we're in the internet, we don't know exactly who's behind it.)
4. If it's a company or project manager, look at the projects background, reviews and team.
5. Most of the legit peoples or companies will post the escrowed fund (But of course not all.)
6. They will hire a reputable managers (There's a high chance that if they hire reputable manager it's legit because most of the reputable managers review the project first)

we do have different basis in my case here's the thing i look for before investing to something, starting to transact etc.

There is nothing to deny about this thing that the market is full of scammers and that of we make one wrong move, then all our money will go in vain and that we will be left with nothing in our hands. However, the only possible way of safe survival is gaining more and more knowledge about the things which can help you in staying away from such kind of frauds and scam. Be sure that you are doing the right thing before making any of your move.

Scam is always there whether online or offline. They just have different techniques to deceived you.

Internet world is full of scams and they come up with new scam each day and it is very difficult to avoid them as they make it look so real and trustful. But alleast we should follow the basic safety measures like never to trust anyone without escrow and do not fall for very attractive schemes which seems look to good to be true.
Yep, it’s really not easy for us to avoid being scammed. You both know that scammers is very normal, because actually they are well-skill in technology than each others , they are flexible and incredibly intelligent in the way make almost those of us be cheated. You’d better not believe in anyone, you must control your emotion for not being cheated. Especially, for some newbie , they may not  know much more about this market, they can easily be scammed. In totally, when you take part in this cryptocurrencies, you must prepare a lot to face with many troubles.
It is not that difficult to avoid being scammed just think critically about what it is being offered and you will avoid most scams, lets take HYIP as an example we all know those are scams but people let their greed take control and invest in them and lose their money, if they took the time to consider why a HYIP will need their money if they can generate so much money by themselves then you will realize they will not need us if they could actually produce the profits they claim so you can easily see they are a scam.
