It is very likely that these coins will compete with each other in the future. But it is still too early to talk about this. WAVES are just beginning to evolve and they still have a very hard way to succeed...

I am more inclined to the token etherium because the current movement of the etherium itself is fast and always uphill.

Does any one thinks that Ethereum can survive with the rising of Waves? I've heard that "Waves will be the next Ethereum"
Ethereum is the second after bitcoin in terms of market capitalization. it is going to be hard for Waves to surpass that because Ethereum has a huge and trusted userbase.

does not rule out if waves will be the successor of etherium. but I think etherium will be far more successful than waves in both popularity and price!

It just my opinion, can also vice versa.

Big news waiting for waves in 3 days. It's a cool crypto with no blockchain struggle. Ethereum need very big improvement for solving kitty problem but it will tkae at least few years for that.

I really think that waves is the underdog over etherium. Undoubtedly, etherium is doing very well as compared with waves. More transaction is being conducted through etherium. Many altcoins under etherium has high potential and are really promising.

it never occurred to me that the waves would replace etherium, because etherium is one of the big projects ranks second after bitcoin. the etherium user community is much more numerous than waves.

Waves is so undervalued. With its new DEX and UI launch coming in less than 2 weeks,
it can pump big next.
i keep hearing that last 2 months but still nothing is happening

Its on all time height...
Compared to $ but since most of us are buying it with btc we would be better of with just holding btc then investing in waves. Also whats that special about waves,i hear people saying its a dex but there are already such things like etherdelta and few more icos to do the same?

7.96 USD even more all time high  Wink

it even hit first time ever 8 USD mark

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/waves/

special about waves is that it is undervalued, compared to ethereum and neo, while ethereum and neo (ethereum more) are overvalued, the market will correct the price

it is your own problem that you still calculate your economic gains in bitcoins, not us dollar, i admit the financial regime in the usa isnt great now, but dont blame all communal financial administration worldwide for it, many are managing an acceptable and sustainable economic competition in their regions

regards

Ethereum surely will lead the blockchain and waves is not a comparison to it. Waves is good too, but Ethereum is something that could become the next bitcoin very soon.

waves can't be ethereum. but waves may have big future and if you are looking for a good coin to invest then just go for waves. waves price is almost 7 $ , but after a year it can be 100 plus like ltc.

I think it's impossible that Waves will be the next Ethereum. The waves are good now but it does not mean that the waves are the next ethereum. Ethereum has a potential and a good community inside and I can say that its value will be great in the future.

You need to keep them both. Waves have a nice potential to grow.

Ethereum too as well - I'm not saying anything about it cause it is obvious.

Also, I think it is reasonable to pay attention to Ripple if you are looking for long-tee

Waves enables Decentralized exchange( As it is, an exhcange that is not being controlled by anyone, it is being controlled by the people, which makes it much more safer and also enables very low fee trading).

You're correct on exchange not being controlled. But on the other hand, the rates in DEX are heavily controlled by whale(s) due to very low volumes. Maybe in the future with Waves upgrades and new UI etc there will be more volume. At the moment I cannot see benefits in DEX for a trader.
