That is why cryptocurrencies are banned in many countries as government wants to control us but now they can not do it anymore.
With the fast developing blockchain technology, more and more people are getting involved in the blockchain world. The human being has been evolving so many years, we went through the period of the primitive society, the agricultural revolution, the industrial revolution, and the Internet revolution. It's time to change, we now need to enter a new era, a decentralized era, we got to trust each other with the technology, but not with the third parties. Government is third parties, the bank is third parties, all the giant company are third parties. Why they want to hinder the development of blockchain or ICO. Because they are afraid, there are no more people they can get benefit from.
that is fucking trust but don't you think is the reason why some countries don't implement it, because they are afraid.
I think we do to an extent, it's been easy to see what happens without the government involved, scams everywhere.
We still need government to govern us for things that can not be done by civilians or ordinary people such as solving crimes and arresting criminals, protections etc. About bank, we still need it also because we are still using fiat money and many merchants still not accepting crypto as payments.
I don't think that the government and the banks will dissapear . Not all the countries agree with the crypto usage by the population .
There is no need in banks if cryptocurrencies will be popular among people because they can transfer money with low fees and very fast
Me personally, I think the fiat bank is still needed for:
1. Safety savings account.
2. Transactions for shopping (still in common use these days).
3. Equal Balance of Fiat Money.
4. Can manipulate their own money via Bank(s).

The fact is that if the crypto currency is accepted, then most likely the banking sector will be destroyed, and this can greatly damage the stability of the national currency and the economy as a whole. Therefore, no one accepts this technology for fear of consequences.
For now,we need the government to maintain law and order in our societies so that cryptocurrency will gradually be accepted in the entire world.without law and order,we cannot be stable to do our businesses.Banks are still part of our daily activities and change is difficult but a time is coming when everybody will accept cryptocurrency because of its convienency then we may not need banks
I do not think that the technology of blockchain can replace the governments and state system. How? If you need help from the police, who will protect you? How blockchain can help here?
As I understood op said about those areas that can be easily replaced with use of blockchain. For example banks can already be replaced, the new electronic cash system provides us ability to send any amount of money to any point in the world in few minutes. Of course there are some fields of our life where blockchain is not so useful and they can't be replaced, but maybe they can be reorganized with use of it.

So we dont need these greedy companies who steal our money. But i think we will always need a gouverment who keeps the order. Because blockchain cant protect you from murder and plunder.

and to answer op question. I don't think we've reached the point where we don't need bank or government yet. It may happen in the future as you can see people are getting fed up with all the lies and deception but it will take years before you see anything. Blockchain may or may not help.

No government will tolerate such a situation, and if the situation is really so serious, I think the blockchain will be equated with drugs or for example will be destroyed skyscraper again and will announce that the terrorists have used blockchain technology and will ban it.
We don't need the maybe what they need us, they need people and institutions to make them obey. They don't want their citizens to operate their actions without their control. Therefore, they will have a way to regulate their law to follow the transactions.

This will be a tough war , but I do believe block chain and cryptocurrencies will win this war in the long run because they have the most advanced technology
I also hope that one day I will be able to use my blockchain to manipulate my own financial movements. However, there are no tokens that have stable prices and are widely used in the market! I think it takes a long time to reach your goal!
It is still too early to talk about this. We see how any negative decision of the government can bring down the course of bitcoin. Very few people are now in the cryptoindustry. We live here and it seems to us that we are many.
