I don't think you can remove the government and the banks out of the picture. Some banks are into cryptocurrecy now. The idea of the government to legalize bitcoin the better. More users and investors, then cryptocurrency market will surely rise again.

The government of some countries are really seeking for ways to gain control over cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. Their thought is that the revenue coming in might be hindered, due to lack of direct influence over blockchain technology, but i see this with a different perspective and some countries are now beginning to see it from the positive side. Even if they do not have direct control over blockchain and cryptocurrency, they can still make use of the technology to solve so many economic issues and the fact is this is possible and some are already doing that.
We still need the government to protect us from scams and for future regulations because blockchain is still on its infancy so many aspects are still under the trial and error phase.

No, because if the crypto legalize in over the world the bank will decrease their power and the government can not collect taxes anymore because the transaction made inside the cryto currency they don't have the power to monitor it.But for me we still need government to control such bad things in our country.

And this is why they're killing cryptos now. The ICOs who are becoming scam are one of the reason but I believe the main reason is the potential of the coins to replace the use of the banks.
Bank is giant financial institution in all country , but they can not offer service to all people in the world like poor people who does not have ID and unbanked. And this world there are more than 2 billion people still unbanked and blockchain technology give solution for them. That no need third party like bank to send and receive money.

Blockchain comes as good solution but now its not enough since blockchain is still in early stage and need much more improvement to become good solution.
I think banks are still needed, because a centralized system is a must. Decentralized systems may have many problems. Blockchains can change the principles of opaqueness in some industries. However, blockchains are not a panacea.
we still do need the Banks and the governments, The governments have the authority to ban and illigalize crypto, we are only operating because the governments llets us operate, if all governments ban crypto then crypto will die, Banks have other roles to play in the economies of countries, without them there will be no economic regulations and several sectors would crash
