The thing called gambling does not know age, old or young, the important thing is that the person has enough money so he can gamble.
However, the question that arises is when is the right age to stop gambling? So my answer is that there is no age limit for someone to stop gambling and there is no age that can really be considered appropriate for someone to decide to stop gambling, however if this gambling activity is considered detrimental and does not provide any benefits and it is also difficult to controlled, then whether in old age or young, if conditions are like that, it would be better if we decided as soon as possible to immediately stop the gambling activities that we have been doing. Before something worse happens to us.

Actually the weak gambler only retired at their old ages, because they don’t have any good funds for their survival of the game. The old age people doesn’t have money most of the time because of not saving their funds at their young ages.Saving the money at the younger age was the important for the young gamblers which help to make the more games at the old ages.I had come across many gamblers who’s age are more than 60 and all of them was holding the huge assets and big bank balances. The gambler with less knowledge will play the game at the young age and doesn’t hold any money for the gambling at their old ages.

Many believe that gambling is for young people online as they need thrill and and fun. But I think that even old people can enjoy gambling. There should be any age to retire from gambling at all. One can do this activity and leisure time and thus it does not affect retirement related activities also.
Gambling is a fun activity and apart from the young people who are under aged, every other person is permitted to involve themselves in the fun activity of gambling. If health and financial status continue to permit it there is no reason or age to stop gambling. Any gambler can gamble for as long as they want. People only stop gambling when they feel like they should, but if you have no problem with gambling and gambling has no problem with you and you decide to want to continue gambling for as long as you can until you run into old age, it's your choice and there's nothing wrong with it.

Of course gambling is very fun but that doesn't mean you have to forget all your limits and controls because behind the fun in gambling there is a huge risk that can happen to you unexpectedly at any time. Yes, although there is no prohibition for each individual to engage in gambling but still we must be really careful friends, yes I understand it is very fun but also very risky. I hope that if you really want to get involved in this activity then you have to know about everything that is there including losing, and also yes you should be able to budget money that will not be a problem if you end up losing, if you can apply it then I say you are one of the responsible gamblers by accepting all the risks that occur.

I agree with that, it is true, there is no age limit for you to gamble, even if you are old enough but if this is one of the fun things then do it as long as you have a high level of awareness and strong control so as not to be easily influenced by every temptation that is there. Gambling really won't be a big problem when you can manage and know the rules that must be done there, such as limiting the budget and time, other than that just come for entertainment, I think it's still safe.

Well for me there is no specific or age limit to gambling, it comes from you that even the elderly enjoy gambling because it seems to be the only way to get rid of their boredom. Yes, there is still another way to get rid of boredom, but if you are a gambler and you can still gamble even when you are old, you will still do it.

I see from my grandfathers and uncles that they always gambled even when they were in their 60-70s. They are the ones who are playing and they are fighting each other, I can see that they are enjoying it a lot, it's like they're bonding, it's like they're just kids, it's fun to watch.

There is absolutely no age limit in gambling, even an very old man who can no longer walk can still enjoy gambling so long as he can effectively operate a smart phone, understand to sign up on an online casino, deposit and withdraw money.
There is no age limit to gambling, and as such, there is no specific or accurate age to retire from gambling.

I myself hope to play gambling till I grow old and die, but I still believe that there is a chance I might quit (not necessarily quit though) gambling when I become very busy with lots of activities like travels, going for business meetings and so on, that I no longer have the time or chance to enjoy gambling, but when I do retire, i still will gamble if I still find it as interesting as it currently is.

A person can anytime and anywhere decide to immediately stop gambling activities and this is regardless of whether they are old or young. If in a position where gambling is uncontrollable and can only be detrimental both in time and financially, then immediately stop gambling before your time and money run out because of irresponsible gambling, immediately stop gambling and look for something else. which is more useful. And if you are currently experiencing economic problems, it would be better if you decided to stop gambling and remain focused on the efforts you are making so that your personal economy can return to stability as soon as possible. Because gambling that is done irresponsibly and cannot be controlled can destroy the plans and efforts that we are making. And don't ever think that gambling can change our lives financially, because this is just nonsense.

People over the age of 60 are prone to having heart problems, so in my opinion, people over the age of 60 who know they have health problems should not play any game of chance, they may have another type of entertainment such as watching films, series, talking to relatives, friends and they can also read newspapers and also watch football games of their favorite team, but without putting money to bet. I say this because even when people talk about how they don't express feelings when they bet money on a game, when they lose money they still feel like they lost, but as they are young they can overcome this loss easily.

but when we are talking about the case of old people, they no longer have the health to be anxious and worried all the time and still be fine, when an old person puts money into gambling, they will be worried until it is time to see the results. of the games and when the results are bad and he loses money, then the old person will feel angry, dissatisfied and may die at the same time. Even when there is a very important football game in my country and that same football game is shown on my country's TV, there is always a warning so that old people with heart problems don't watch it. This is to prevent them from getting sick

I think a reasonable old man should give up gambling. Whether we like it or not, gambling has the primary aim to double your finance but whether this actually happens or not depends on an individual, if they are getting the profit but yes majority are not. So what would an old man be gambling for when he is suppose to be taken care of by his pension savings and investment plus what support the children give to him.

Reasonable old man? No, I disagree with you on this. Perhaps you are talking from the aspect of those who are gambling to earn a living. Earning profits is actually one of the aim of gambling but that should not be the priority because of the consequences that follows it. If the old man is not in financial crisis and derive fun in gambling, then I don't see anything wrong in doing that no matter the age.

Okay but does it mean if someone doesn't gamble then he won't have fun watching probably a sports game? If an old man doesn't gamble will he note enjoy the entertainment from the game he is seeing or engaging in? No I think the real entertainment is when you are relaxed and not pressured whatsoever. Gambling is generally believed to be played because you want to add to your purse not just a total entertainment because if it is only for entertainment we have different things to enjoy in a game that is not to gamble it.

I don't think there's any specific age to retire or rather stop gambling. One can decide to stop gambling at anytime due to some personal reason. And I would say it all depends on how gambling has affected them positively or negatively. Since gambling is fun I don't see why an old nigga who probably still has the ability to move on his own won't be able to gamble. They would actually need such activities to exercise their body and keep the brain active. If gambling has affected you negatively it's would be a proper thing for you to stop and find something else to do with your time.

For me, gambling means there is no such thing as retirement, as long as you have the money and opportunity as well as age, as long as they are able to operate a laptop or Android, there are no obstacles for those who want to continue gambling.

Stopping gambling doesn't lie in retirement, gambling is not a real job that has to be done, those who come to the world of gambling are like people going to the night market, if they have the opportunity and see the chance of luck, Of course they will do it and risk their money, the gambling arena can be done because there is desire, opportunity and capital, regardless of whether they are young or old.

I don't think there is a definite answer to this question as regarding your thread topic but I believe that there's no age limit for having fun as long as you're healthy. Personally, if I should give a general answer, I would say that a person's individual circumstances are more important than their age when it comes to deciding whether or not to retire from gambling. At old age, there's a lot of health challenges and one's health is an important factor to consider while gambling. Gambling can be stressful and lead to anxiety and health problems if it becomes too much of a focus in a person's life. Aside this health challenge, one can gamble until you wish to stop.

No prior age set regarding on what age should a gambler retire from gambling since each of us have different approach regarding on this discussion since some can easily quit because they think they are done already since they are financially drained due to big losses they encounter from gambling. And some still gamble even if they are old since they think its still good for them since it challenge their mind and get the fun that they want especially when they are at home without doing anything. Gambling can really be stressful if done in wrong manner since if a person is doing crazy decisions while betting for sure they would think about those hardships and how to recover their lose then even decide to chase. But if they are there just for fun since start of their sessions provably with this attitude they can be happy whatever result they can get after they end their games.

That's right, I also never thought about this problem, in my opinion there is really no time limit on when you should gamble and when you should stop, of course everything will return to each individual along with how they view gambling. Basically there are those who easily stop because they realize that this activity is useless and only makes a lot of problems arise in their finances and there are also those who still gamble until now because they are addicted and have difficulty getting out of the zone, honestly for the addicted themselves I don't know when they will stop but more likely I think they will stop when they have exhausted everything they have and are also driven by some new problems as a result of gambling on their lives.

I really can't tell at what age you should stop because as I said above it depends on yourself how long you want to contribute to the activity, but in my opinion if indeed the activity only causes a lot of problems it is better from now on you intend to stop, especially those who are already addicted, because as we know quitting gambling is very difficult friend, and it is impossible to do suddenly, so it is better for you from now on to reduce these activities so that in the future slowly the action will reduce your interest in gambling and finally you can stop. Yes, gambling is very challenging, not least because there is a chance of winning and the risk of losing, but obviously the risk there is far greater than the chance of winning, and if you gamble just for fun, in my opinion it doesn't matter because the sensation that is caused is quite pleasant and yes as long as you remain firm on your self-control, do not end up addicted because it is very dangerous and I'm not sure you can survive in such conditions which of course will be a lot of pressure you feel.

So hard to tell on the timeline since we might not really follow that. To many factors would provably come and that can affect our decision either to continue or stop our activities on gambling. But for now maybe we should not think about it since it doesn't really give us any boost since each of us have different opinion regarding on when to retire discussion. I just continue to enjoy gambling for now since who knows maybe soon we can say that its enough for us to participate in such activity since we think its enough for us and find better career to enhance ourselves then leave those other activity that disturbs us to grow on what new career we are accepting.

Some can quit instantly but some can't and still want to play for long term. But for sure when they came up to the point that they became more mature for sure they still leave this activity and gaining more money will be their main priority due to responsibilities that they need to take care.

Yes, even older people can enjoy gambling, but they should keep in mind their age and their health because gambling can bring surprises to them. And sometimes, if a person is not prepared for the shock, they can develop heart disease, which can result in death. But to retire from gambling, everyone can decide for themselves, and there is no need to say at what age they will retire. If they feel they have enough to retire from gambling, they can do so at any time. Or they are tired of gambling all their life, they can decide to retire immediately. It all depends on how they feel because sometimes, if they decide they will retire at the age of 60 but in reality they still enjoy gambling, they will not retire.

Gambling is not an activity that will be too hard even for old age since its just like watching television but this time they are thinking and enjoying. I believe the only repercussion of gambling that can give to old people is the potential heart attack and other illness once they experience huge loss or anything that will surprise them.

But in general. Gambling is safe even for old age considering that they will just play for fun and doesn’t involved on high risk stake game which often do by young gambler.

Gambling can be for anyone at the right age to gamble with enough funds to spend. It isn't enclosed to a certain age bracket or range, as long they are of legal age to bet and play, although typically, there are age ranges that mostly play a specific type of game. I guess this is because of the influence or the generation became used to certain games, and have fun playing various kinds that suit their liking as well.

If you are an adult that is still half the retirement age or near it, it's your choice whether to continue or to stop gambling. Retirement from gambling is a heavy thing especially to the regulars, so it will really have to be though of thoroughly. If you no longer have the capacity, financially speaking, to gamble, then quit already before it becomes a burden to you. But if you do have a budget allocation without destroying your priorities, then you can play as much even if you're past your prime. For me, it really depends on your capability to gamble, mentally, emotionally, and financially speaking.

I don't think there's any age to retire when it comes to gambling. As you have said, for young people, gambling is an activity to experience the thrill and fun. And yes, the same experience was also for the old person. Gambling is considered one of the social activities where old people spend their leisure time in casinos. Old people also experience an eagerness to gamble, and addiction which results in a risk of facing a financial problem which is the same as every young gamblers..

First we must understand that it's not about age as people gamble for different reasons like:
  • people gamble for fun
  • people gamble to make money(profit)
  • others gamble for the purpose of socializing
  • others gamble to try get distracted from something, etc

But if we try to put an age when people need to retire from gambling, it might be considered as some kind of discrimination but perfect time to stop is when you have other responsibilities that need your time and can't make time to gamble anymore then this should tell you that you are done... otherwise age shouldn't be something to tell you that you are done!

It's very subjective, and I don't think that there are retirement numbers from gambling to begin with. There are late bloomers too, who find gambling at the ripe age, and then there are gamblers who started young and still continue to gamble until they can't no longer play.

And as we know it, gambling has been part of human history, as old as mankind. So it's very hard to just stop or quit or retire from it. So it really affect all of the society, regardless of what age bracket. Initially it appears to be harmless for us in the beginning, but as we continue throughout our lifetime, it's very difficult to withdraw from it.

The world "retire" should only be used when it is a profession. Gambling is not a profession expect for those who take it as their main job. These are the people that should retire. It you do gambling well, you would have fun and would never for once have any regrets that you gambled while you were hale and hearty.

Just to add that gambling should not go alone. Engage in gambling with other fun and simple activities and you would never regret a day in your life.

Retirement is something that almost everyone will give a thought about, but in terms of gambling, I really think that the best time for someone to quit gambling is when he/she has no money to stake again, it's common sense and not about age, even if someone is at the age of @300 and if the person is still a bit strong or bit stronger he/she can still gamble online, it is very hard for a gambler to quit gambling even if the gambler is very old (if he/she still has the money he/she can still gamble).

It's one thing to quit gambling probably because of the fact that the concerned person now gambles frequently and becoming a gambling addict abd also a totally different thing to retire from gambling after so many years of involvement in it especially when one is aged.
What the question is talking about is the best age range for any gambler to absolutely retire from gambling. And my honest opinion is that after the age of 60 years, I don't think it's right for anyone to continue in gambling since it requires a lot of mental strength to gamble on other not to stress his aged brain through gambling.
