Retirement is something that almost everyone will give a thought about, but in terms of gambling, I really think that the best time for someone to quit gambling is when he/she has no money to stake again, it's common sense and not about age, even if someone is at the age of @300 and if the person is still a bit strong or bit stronger he/she can still gamble online, it is very hard for a gambler to quit gambling even if the gambler is very old (if he/she still has the money he/she can still gamble).

It's one thing to quit gambling probably because of the fact that the concerned person now gambles frequently and becoming a gambling addict abd also a totally different thing to retire from gambling after so many years of involvement in it especially when one is aged.
What the question is talking about is the best age range for any gambler to absolutely retire from gambling. And my honest opinion is that after the age of 60 years, I don't think it's right for anyone to continue in gambling since it requires a lot of mental strength to gamble on other not to stress his aged brain through gambling.

Many believe that gambling is for young people online as they need thrill and and fun. But I think that even old people can enjoy gambling. There should be any age to retire from gambling at all. One can do this activity and leisure time and thus it does not affect retirement related activities also.

The age you think that you no longer need to gamble anymore and think about using your money for other achievements in life, helping others or feeding yourself and the family members, that time you make such realization by yourself then you can make a decision to stop gambling, this could be at any age, but when you discover that despite you're been old enough, you still find gambling interesting to do and you're not having financial challenge or any unaccomplished vision, you're good to continue gambling because by then, it's what gives you joy at pleasure.

There's no exact date to retire from gambling, you can gamble until you die, it's a choice.

But I think it depends on each person, if you're someone who's really emotional and ever once suffering from heart attack, it's better to stop gambling or bet with very very low amount. Heart attack mostly happen start from 40 years old, so beware when you're already that old during gamble.

I don't think gambling is taking that much physical effort so I suppose anything below 65 is pretty acceptable age for gambling. After 65, age hits health so hard. Especially it may mess your decision making big. I believe you also need good memory capacity for gambling and after 50 memory starts to fade away... I think 70 is close to perfect age to retire from anything, gambling and all kinds of other things, labor etc.

There is no age limit for someone to stop gambling, even if they are still young and able to control their gambling addiction, so asking themselves to retire early is the right decision. Basically, gambling is not mandatory for young people. Gambling actually becomes a double-edged sword when you are unable to control it at a young age. Don't get me wrong I really don't know how far anyone plans to retire from gambling as it is not a permanent career nor is it a consistent source of income. The word retirement is more attached to the field of work, so the most appropriate word for gambling is stop, not retire.

The story is different if people are directly involved as workers in casino, game server guards and gambling service operators, then this could be very suitable for the term retirement.

In the world of leisure and fun, age is just a number. Telling someone based on their age what things they can or cannot do is nothing but unfair discrimination. Doesnt it seem silly to say that thrills and fun are only for kids? The idea that limiting gambling to people of a certain age is, in effect, not a problem. A lot of ageist ideas are used to support it, which makes it unstable.

Lets look into this more deeply now. No matter how old or young you are, gaming can be fun and can suit your level of risk tolerance. When you retire, you dont have to stop doing everything, do you? No matter what age, leisure is relaxation. Whats the point in being different in gambling? There really shouldnt be an age limit. Who says you should stop looking for thrills, adventures, or just a good time at a certain age?

I agree with your opinion and so are the others about the age to retire because there's really no right or mandatory or preferable age to retire, you retire when you want to retire because of various reasons whether financial, health job or business-related and you can always come back once you retire because in gambling there's no such thing as permanently retiring.
I have a neighbor who is bedridden but he still bets on a lottery by asking his grandson to bet for him his favorite numbers, still hoping to win before he goes.

Depending on the gambler's wishes, when they will retire, usually everyone has different reasons, some stop because they want to get rid of their addiction and there are also those who stop completely because they want to focus on their family, every gambler has his own time when he will stop retiring from gambling, but in general Personally, I will stop and retire from gambling around the age of 40 because I think that is the right age to be with my family.

But maybe it's different from other people, sometimes there are those who still gamble until they are old people so we can't guess and determine when we should retire from gambling as long as gambling is still limited and limits the time. Actually there is no problem gambling at any time as long as we can still control it, but If you have become a heavy addict playing all the time, there should be time to stop and retire from gambling.  Wink

There is no real age to quit or going in pension when you gamble.Back in the days in 2000-2005 when I used to work in the casino the majority of the people gambling were over 50 there and in those times the online gambling had just started to appear while local casinos were extremely popular.

Those people kept gambling every day those over 50 years old in age and I believe in the saying that the vice goes out when we die meaning it is very difficult to quit, that is why I think that there is no real age for gamblers, you can be 99 years old and if you have power to hit the spin button you will do it.

You don't use age to determine whether or not you should retire. You can be as old as Joe Biden and still gambling responsibly. If you still enjoy it and have no control problem, you can still play. Meanwhile, you MUST retire even if you are a teenager if you don't have control or get into problems.

As we age, so does new games are been invented and integrated into gambling if they see that people love it. You don't expect people that were gambling in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s to understand some of the gambling games on casino, they most often than not played what they understand and with time, they don't even have that time they use to like when they were even younger and energetic. However, the age you chose to retire is subjective, some people even quit gambling once they marry if their spouse don't like it, some quit when they give birth to their first child so that the child will not take after them as some of them are bad gamllbler.

If you see gambling as fun and your family don't see anything in it, then I think there is nothing should stop you if you find it fun at any age you are but if you are the type that see gambling as a way to hulse, quit while you are younger, you don't want to be nuisance to your grandchildren. I know of people even when they have older kids, they still go to gambling shop to bet where there children also go to bet. That's very concerning when an elder don't know when to stop.

Age doesn’t matter as long as user still enjoy playing the games and have enough money to carry on without affecting his daily needs. Gambling is design as source of entertainment which old people needs a lot since most of them is already alone on their house due to their children has their own family.

Old people has nothing to do anymore to enjoy that’s why many old people gamble despite of their age. It’s not about the money but rather how they can be entertained by playing games instead of staying home alone. So no age limit for me as long as they can still enjoy playing.

I am just thinking about this right now, I have never for once think about when I will quit, I think it's better not to think about it, if gambling is still fun for you there is no reason to quit, even if you are old as a responsible gambler you are in good hands, if gambling isn't fun for you anymore or you are gambling to make money only I think at a old age you should stop, you don't want take risks that can affect you or make life miserable for you.

A responsible gambler still needs to be careful as they age, because old age has it's impact on the brain too, I think it's better to stop gambling when you are older, within the range of 60 and above, you could end up making a bad decision and lost everything, who knows? I might stop gambling in the future but for now I don't see any reason to give up on gambling.
While there is a specific time to engage in gambling but there is no specific time to quit gambling. A man can start gambling from the time he turns 18 but there is no age or limit on when he can stop. In my opinion a man is fit for gambling as long as he can manage responsible gambling. In many places, when a person retires after his working life, many people choose gambling as a Leisure time. That time is very happy for them. But if someone is greedy for money and gambling with more risk at that time, it can definitely create fatal problems for them. If the age is above 60 then gambling should be thought of only as a platform of enjoyment rather than greed for money otherwise gambling may have harmful effects for those elderly people.

I see people retiring from gambling at a very young age just fresh from college or a young entrepreneurs this is to pursue their other dreams and goals and find gambling a hindrance to the attainment of their dream goal and I've seen old people getting into gambling at their retirement time just to enjoy gambling something that they have not done when they are young because they are too busy with their job and their business.

So there is really no exact age to retire some young people retire and old people just beginning to gamble, there are two ways or retire in gambling, when you are addicted and you get cured, and when you lose a lot of money you cannot gamble anymore because you cannot sustain and decide to retire.

There is no mandatory age to retire and there is no age to start gambling, it's your money, it's your time, and it's your desire, you decide it for yourself.

There's no such thing about age on quitting or retiring from gambling yet im not really not that doing any careers or somewhat similar to this but rather it would really be just that entirely be random
if i do really seek up for some leisure times then this is the time i would really be that tending to play in regardless on what age it would be. I admit that i do make some gambling sessions but only just that good with small amounts or something that it is extra from my own salary or something that it isnt really that being used or completely free. Retiring kind of word on which it would really be fitting out into those people who do make gambling as their gambling routine or just simply they do make out a career of it and this would really be able to  suit out that kind of word.

For me., i can stop anytime since im not really that addicted and really that could easily quit up if i wanted to and never ever make myself that going impulsive anytime i do deal up with it.
As long you are really that spending the amount which you can afford to lose then i dont really see any issues.

      -   Where did you read the article that gambling is only for young people? I know when no adult or minor enters an online casino or physical casino it is not really allowed here. You also did not specify what age group of young people you are referring to.

Also, gambling does not choose any age; gambling is because once you bet on any games they have, they have a profit on you as a gambler. That's how simple the trend is in the world of gambling. Just don't forget that we shouldn't let ourselves become addicted to gambling or have an addiction to it that will affect our lives and ourselves negatively.

Is there such thing? As long as it's done responsibly and within one's means, age shouldn't necessarily be a barrier to enjoying such activities. If it's causing issues like financially or relationships, it might be time to take a step back, no matter how old you are.

In my opinion, age is not a guarantee that someone will retire from gambling, nowadays we see a lot of young and old people who like to gamble, who knows what they are looking for there?? For young people, of course they gamble to find entertainment, while for older people, apart from being entertainment, they may also be addicted and use gambling to make extra money. And in my opinion, someone will retire from gambling because they have experienced defeat and lost so much money that they have nothing left, they can't even buy money for food and they will think it is time for them to stop or retire from gambling. , if he continues to force himself to gamble then his life problems will increase.

Retiring from gambling is something which does not depend on one's age, in my opinion, but rather in the personal choices one has made around the gambling habit itself.
Some can be 23 and decide to retire from gambling, one can be 89 years old and also decide to retire from gambling, the reasons are countless and we should not judge them, since each one of us would have different valid reasons to come to the conclusion it is time to retire.

As long as one is over 18-21, manages money responsibly and obviously has the right set of mind to take responsibly choices one can gamble as long as one likes.
Though, I have ended noticed people in their golden years seem to prefer to gamble in brick-and-mortar casinos, instead of just creating an account online and doing it from their home.
To each their own.
