For long-term i hold ETH and OMG.
normally I do hold several different altcoin types in each of my stocks, but currently I only do hold in coin which I think has good potential in the future like xrp and eth.
centra is growing last week it was 0.29 now its 0,6 and its going to be much bigger. if i have money even now i would buy it
I'm curious, I know there are a lot of traders on this forum.
But
1. How many of you folks are investing in and holding altcoins?

2. Which ones are they?
Here no one can give the exact answer in these days because the market of the altcoins are really goes down much and most of the newbie trader sold thier altcoins Because of the loss and they are looking for the stability of the bitcoin market. But

Perosnally here I myself have investment in 20+ coin which are including Digibyte , reddcoin , Putin , creva , pxi ,tam , blry , Pak , eth , etc , btg , bcc , BCH . Since the last two coin were in investment since one month and now today I am in much profit with these coins Because these are increasing in these 1-2 days .
And also I am investing in new new coins , Because I know that currently the bitcoin price is at high and the price of the altcoins are going down and few of them are stable at down price , so if I can make investment today then with the small increase in the price will result into increase in the profit.
For myself : Verge, Pivx, Tronix, Monetha, TenX, Lisk,Phore, B3 Coin
What is more profitable to buy for a long time - Pivx or ZenCash?
I am holding a few altcoins in my mew like , POS , BLUE , REX , GEN , BTCR , BLL , IBTC , JS , FUDD and i cannot remember the others because i think its a scam alts . I don't buy altcoins , i just receive most of the altcoins that i have in airdrops. And few are in the bounties that i participated.
for now. i am proud and happy to buy and hold a CREDENCE COINS. even if theres too many negative expeculation to them i am pretty trust to their dev and team. i hope that in the right time i earn a good profit from it.
I do invest in alt coins regulary. I have almost 70 alt coins at the moment apart from this I do bounties too that also gave me alt coins I have a very good portfolio of altcoins. I am planning to hold it for long-term to earn good profit. Currently I am holding some major alt coins those are: Dash, Ethereum, Startis, Iota, Waves, DeepOnion, PowerLedger, Etc and Monero.
i personally holding xrp golem factom xlm,you should hold coins that is below a dollar so you can make a lot of profit in the future.
I have a lot of altcoin in my wallet (MEW) but my favorite altcoin among them are POS, ETH & EOS I hold them for long term because the Developer of this tree coins are awesome I see a bright future in this coin. Few weeks ago I bought some litecoin and Monero I also planning to hold this two in long term I read some article that this two coin will pump in 2018 I hope this news will come true soon, but now I'm still looking for some good potential altcoin.
GRS - Groestlcoin is what I have my eye on because it has so many good features when it comes to privacy. They even just added the lightning network on the network so the coin has huge potential and I'm hearing that the coin has the developer skills to go double digits so it would be good to check them out. Just go to their site @.org there will be a choice of exchanges for you to choose from.
All my long-term bets, and my money, are in very few currencies: Bitcoin 60%, ether 30% and Deeponion 10%. It is true that I am constantly looking for new options because every day there are interesting projects and developments in the altcoin universe, so I do not despise the possibility of adding new options to my investment portfolio.
My number one altcoin is DeepOnion. Heavily undervalued with an already great working wallet, TOR integration, strong and growing community, DeepVault and soon DeepSend feature, hard working devs, regular updates and improvements, clear roadmap.. must be blind to not see the potential
I see district0x (DNT) on the rise as well even though they had to gone through a pump and dump scheme by whales at the start. They have a great and transparent communication and just got a verified Twitter account recently and with ETHlance and NameBazaar released, MemeFactory incoming and a whole lot more in the pipeline I definitely see them succeed in the future

Waves, Oax, 0x mainly
I'm holding a bit of LTC, SUB, XRP, BNK, a bit of VERI, KICK, with the bulk of my portfolio in PPT since a couple weeks after the ETH crash. Getting into PPT at around $2.75 is really paying off for me now, and it'll probably only go up from here with the beta starting this month.

I have Ethereum and I am willing to store more coins as soon as I see the chance to do so. There is just too many coins out there that have purpose.But

if i just eth only, because altcoin is suitable for investment and the price every year keeps increasing.
Im holding Ark, KMD(!), Stratis, Lisk and Waves as number ones.
Especially I would suggest to take a look at KMD.
This HUGE project has alot coming in front (and also the first Decentralized ICO)
and is becoming an Ultimate Decentralized Monster.
