I'm new to this whole thing and recently I've realised that too many projects are volatile and not trustworthy.

Any suggestions for tokens that are more trustable and worth holding for 6 months and more? I will do my own research of course.

(not those spam shilling messages please idk how common they are here)

I recommend bnb and xrp for us to hold long terms because it hasn't been shaking in the midst of market downfalls. Many times there's challenging moment of crypto market, but still we can't afford to lose that's why we need to stay calm and easy. I won't recommend many tokens to hold, choosing at least two can be better.

BNB is good but XRP is better left, replace it with UNISWAP or HEX, as we know that XRP is in trouble with lawsuits, this certainly affects XRP performance until the lawsuit is over, Uniswap continues to improve and has not been in the top 10 for a year tokens that have gone up more than 50x and will continue to rise.

Welcome. There's no guarantee, i think even the birds know this saying by now.
But, i'd advise investing in something more stable and proven.
Some of my picks would be:

ETH
KSM

VET

Investing according to the ideas anyone has given you on this subject is completely risky. First of all, you need to make your own analysis before investing in this market. Otherwise, you should not blame anyone when your money is lost. But if you want to make money in this sector, you need to invest in the right cryptocurrencies at the right time. In my opinion, marginal cryptocurrencies generally always bring profits. These are led by ETH and BNB other than BTC. But as long as the BNB binance exchange platform exists, it will bring profit. I suggest you invest accordingly.
well, it never hurts to ask for advice from others for consideration. if the coin selection is the same then it can be a reinforcement, otherwise it can be ignored. we need to be open to all opinions, the pros and cons are always there, at least we don't miss a potential project. however, we still have to make the final decision based on the analysis and risk management that we are able to do.
if you want a safe way, then choosing a coin with strong market potential and power is the best choice, and yes... BTC is the main choice.

In my opinion DIVI. I think so becuse it has so many uses. In my opinon they could really grow huge. Im using them to earn passive income by running nodes and staking. Check them out, it's worth it.
So what happens when DIVI has a problem and can't run the node anymore? and what other coins will you choose later? I hope you answer my question because I see you always say DIVI DIVI and DIVI, on every topic on this forum.

Speaking about long term investments and holding for about half year, i would advise you to just keep investing on top coins to be sure you won't regret and meet your profit in the long run. Top coins such as BTC, ETH, BNB, and XRP are surely to gain profit with, since this year is such a great year for such top coins.

Specially for long periods of investment, you can invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum undoubtedly. Bitcoin and Ethereum two coins have popularity with huge trading volumes. Binance Coin and ripple also another long term investment coins.
Yes, but for now, you have to be careful investing because the market is still not okay and the decline is still visible at this time, so if you really want to invest in the long term, try to get these coins at the right price very cheap.

There are a considerable lot of them to look over however not every last bit of it are going to worth to hold for a half year or more. Long haul holding implies something like 2-3 years. Previously, it has likewise been shown that this is the time-frame with which one has practically never made a misfortune with by far most of tasks.

Binance is the largest cryptocurrency exchange in terms of daily volumes and number of coins traded in its platform. But there is no guarantee that this situation will continue for ever. The Biden administration is rumored to be making a few big moves against Binance. There are rumors that a big legal action from the SEC is pending, but we don't have much details about it yet. And given the fact that BNB has appreciated by as much as 2000% in the last 12 months, I would be a bit more cautious about making an investment with this coin.

I've been holding onto my crypto for some years and have unloaded some of them due to lack of faith in the project.
Over time I've come to narrow down to a select few which I've seen to have faired pretty well over this last run up in the market
ADA ETH DIVI VET LINK are my longer term picks - still have some others I'd like to lighten up on, - and everyone has some picks they missed out on too - wished I got into MATIC when I first heard about it at a cent

Yes, it makes more sense to invest in more stable and active projects. I have investments in most of the coins you mentioned. In addition, cake sol and a few nft projects can be added in a larger basket. In the bear market, it is necessary to diversify the portfolio Smiley

A project that struck me is https://phore.io/, I think that in the future online shopping will be managed by decentralized platforms that protect privacy and user data and Phore has created a marketplace in beta version ideal for this role.
It would also be a huge milestone to get a slice of the market in this sector worth billions.

Good project for holding is Aeternity, because Ae is technological project and also stable

Recently I am hearing a lot about Aeternity and I am willing to consider it as an option for investment. A few factors that add to the attractiveness of Aeternity are as follows:

1. Scalable, unlike most of the established cryptocurrencies
2. high-speed transacting
3. Coded in Erlang
4. Development team based in Europe
5. Listed in most of the major exchanges, such as Huobi and Bithumb.

Now comes the hard part. The current exchange rates represents a 98% loss form the ATH levels of 2018.

Yes, but there are also other projects that are engaged in technology so that others also need to be seen even though the conditions will not be the same as Aeternity. Wink

what is certain is to choose coins that have good prospects to keep, experience is very important to be able to choose good coins. There are many coins that do have good prospects to hold. if really want coins for long term then i offer btc or eth, those are well known and quite stable but indeed holding it takes a long time to get the big profit. The most important thing in long term investment is don't panic if the market is down, stay patient and alert until the price goes up again.

DYOR, people suggest where they already had put their money into. Determine which project do you think is worth investing for a long term. Look for long term potential coins instead of shit coins that is driven by pumps and dumps. You can use the market cap as a good reference and look at the projects listed on the top.

I think BANANA token from ApeSwap finance project has a good potential. You can research about it and Hold it for long term. The price of BANANA is now $1.7-$1.8. It has the potential to rise up about $4-$5. You may try your luck.
I wish you luck instead.
I can't deny that this coin has an impressive start but too lucky that it was launch during the bullish season and that is why we are seeing its price looks so promising. But the main goal is for a long-term investment, I may not see this project as worth that much instead of seeing that it move down more when the bear season had to start.

Anyway, it doesn't matter if I look bad with this coin, if that you believe that it grow or at least it still has value in the next few years, go for it. But for me, I'll choose those who have been proven and tested already, not to the new coin like Banana.
