You can visit coinmarketcap for you to find the best investments in altcoins for a long term. Number one in the list is the etherium, as for me it is the best investment in altcoin for a long term, now that its value is going high. I have a little amount of etherium in my wallet and patiently waiting for me to gain profits from it.

The ranked tokens are usually the ones that perform well especially the ones with updates all the time with so many users shilling for it like ADA.
ETH is going to be the most reliable altcoin so far for holding more than 6 months. There are lots that are reliable but they are not rank high because of the low marketcap, they are the ones they call GEM because it has a low max supply and has a good team.

This is why if you want to play safe in the market. You can choose BTC, ETH or BNB. These 3 are quite solid to keep and they will just improve in the next coming months. I am awaiting specifically for ETH this coming month, because of their EIP 1559. It may boost their price if they can deliver what they are supposed to deliver. BNB on the other hand, is still growing because of the projects that are still being created under their platform. For other alts, you need to assess them one by one what is their real deal in the market and in terms of their developments, can they really attract users that will actively use their network?

With the exception of Doge coin, all of the coins that are among the top 20 on the market are worthy of long-term holdings.
BTC, ETH, BNB, ADA, LTC are very good names and worth investing in.

token exchange is a good choice for long-term investment, and HT also has great potential considering that Huobi is one of the largest and most trusted exchanges today. choosing tokens or coins from projects that have clear functions and developments can help us make choices, especially in the long term.
I also have other favorite coins like XLM and XRP. although not completely for the long term as I do day trading a lot.

Bitcoin will be the best long-term project for holding and not altcoin because altcoin will always follow bitcoin moves.
I prefer to use altcoin for short-term investment and you can select many altcoins in the market to hold.
The altcoin that you can hold is ethereum, bnb, dot, atom, and many more but you should find the right coin for you as we do not have the same coin to hold.
I do not suggest you hold a new token or coin as there is no history from that project before so that may be difficult to choose the right project.

You would always want BTC as your main investment even if for just 6 months.
There's always a possibility that it would end up being pumped at that span of time.
Ethereum is always next to my list then, BNB or binance coin.

I would not recommend meme coins for long-term holding. You will just end up losing the value of it or just ROI which would suck since you wasted time waiting and checking every once in a while. You could try NFT coins that promise a good project but I don't know much of them yet.

Look at the top 20 coins in coinmarketcap, those that you can afford to have taken, this is the same suggestion I gave to my friends and now they already have a big portfolio, too bad every time I give them advice, I am unable to by because I don't have funds, while they have a lot, this top 20 coins never fail if you have look at them for the past 5 years they have grown a lot, which I expect more in the coming years.

Well, that's normal because the crypto market is full of speculation, so many shillings or projects don't have clear fundamentals. Anyway I have some recommendations for Coins/Tokens that are suitable for the long term. Here's the list;

ETH, BTC, ADA, etc. Just invest on top 10 and leave it for 1 year.

Of course, apart from BTC, the likes of ETH, ADA and LTC are very good for long term investment. They are well-established coins and has already stood the test of time. Another altcoin I pick that is worth to hodl for a decade is this promising gem called XSN. I strongly feel it has the chances to drive real-life adoption.

I'm not one of the top researchers, but you can't finish your research if you follow all one suggestion. You can research everyone's common suggestion. Vechain, Harmony, DIA, Cartesi those altcoins I have, but maybe I will change to WAN, QKC, AION and TT. Still, I don't have a huge portfolio to invest in. That's why I made the decision. You must take your decision as your portfolio.

I don't know why you still don't know this, but I think just by reading a bit, you will realize that most of the coins in this industry are very volatile if not all, since probably the entirety of the altcoins in this industry moves with the price of bitcoin. So I don't think you will find a coin in this industry that is not volatile. My advice though for beginners like you is to start small on well established coins and gradually increase capital as you get the hang of things here. And when you manage to get enough confidence in your investing ways, you can start investing on start ups that have great potential because coins thata are still starting up can deliver quite a lot of profits for early investors. The only downside is that you have to pick wisely since most of start ups are scams or have veey low chance of succeeding. Good luck.

Yes, make the investment with a certain time interval as the prices change. Secondly, be careful with the projects you choose, as we do not know how the situation will continue. SmartFi - EARN, LEND & TRADE

It is really good you were able to know on time that there are many untrustworthy projects out there, and the worst of it is the high rate of shillings which are being done in order to pump the price and so on.
Some of the things I think you should pay attention to when looking for projects to invest into is the rate of development within that project, how active are the team in rolling out updates and so on, not those that will bring in one product and then relax or goes mute.
Another very important fact is the utility of the project, because this is what I believe adds more value to the project which in return leads to increase in token or coin price.
On that case, my picks are BNB, ETH, SOL and ADA.
