This is what happens at the beginning. The win is happening out of luck or through the information he have gather related to the game could let him pick the better odds and grab the winning amount. People gamble for diverse reasons, it could be to raise funds, it could be for fun or leisure, etc
The more one gambles, the more difficult it becomes to stop it, it's true so many individuals are actually addicted to the act of gambling, but controlling such addiction is needed or else sooner or later such person will lose far more than they bargained for.

Those real life experiences OP mentioned aren't gambling in any way, those are actually individual choices.

Yeah right that's the thing when you already got engaged any sides you take will lead you to keep coming back and the end result can be always negative not unless you have a good way to counter things out and win over.

My biggest win was my biggest loss in a way. It hooked me and make me think that i can easily do this again. After a while i was in denial and i didn't count losses, i only counted the rush of the high wins i was getting. I had to make some rules to myself so i didn't up losing everything and reminded myself that i ended up gambling because it was fun. Not for the profits really, they were just a cool bonus.

This is so true, that's the main reasons why a gambler will be addicted to gambling, if they will today they will comeback to increase there winnings not realizing they are getting addicted, losers on the other hand will really try to recover the losses because they can't accept the fact that they lose so it is more of people's greed taking over them which prevents them from thinking of the right thing to do.

Indeed, this game always creates a circle and we can't get rid of it if we don't have preparation because exactly as you say, when we win, our psychology always wants to come back and continue or when we lose, our psychology is always uncomfortable and wants to come back, find what has been lost. It is the greed that act as a destroyer because when someone has won the money it is better to take it and go away but the addiction of having more money is so high than inspite of knowing that more you play higher chances of losing in gambling still people continues to play.

he only refers life simmillar to gambling but its up to you if you dont believe what he said but for me i agree on what he said . when we strive everyday going to work we are like playing a gambling because we dont know what well happen to us on the road or on the work . what if a car will hit us or our boss will fired us ? but these arent the reason on why there are some that are addicted on gambling . their reason could be they cant get enough of playing a gambling , win or loose they still want to play more .

And everyone wants to earn money.

That is just it. People want to earn money easily as they could that is why they are always turning into gambling whenever they needed that. I am glad that I can control myself and I can get in and get out of a casino at my will. Money is not that hard to earn as long as you know what you are doing, to be honest. You can post a video of you doing what you want and if you know what you are doing, that can gain viewers that can give you money.
