To understand the cause of Gambling addiction you need to understand the general cause of addiction. Addiction can be caused by over indulgence in something fun and unproductive.
Gamblers are probably addicted to gambling due to over indulgence and getting carried away by the fun

Think about it dude. If it's for money, then a sensible guy would be aware that gambling has a bigger chance of taking all your money away instead of making it. I believe it's beyond money already since addicted gamblers are more than willing to go broke just so they can play their preferred gambling games.

I agree. Greediness and lack of contentment in an individual's mind makes it a way for addiction. Since they are not able to control their emotions on the way scenarios are happening in front of them, like losing in a game, they tend to chase their loss since they do not accept such failure for them. Greediness on the other hand makes any individual to do such things just to gain or acquire what ever they what in any way that is possible beyond their thinking which mostly are bad things that is why they get into addiction. If you really want to experience playing gambling, you must be able to have that self-control especially on your emotions so that you will not do things you will totally regret. Luck has always its limits on every individual so we must also do have limitations on the way we play to avoid being addicted intensely on gambling. I've noticed that too. Although there are some cases when rich people lose their mind and start gambling until there's nothing left on their accounts, those cases are rare compared to occurrences of gambling addiction among the poor. I think that is so because poor people are generally less educated and that's why they tend to make wrong decisions, particularly regarding their finance management. It should go without saying that you never gamble with the money you need for living, and yet some people fail to comprehend that.

I agree when a person is deciding to make easy money for his all problems, most of the time he's choosing gambling. Due to the easy availability of gambling and most of the gambling houses are allowing to try with them for free of cost, most gamblers are getting into their first gambling.

There are also no enough awareness on the dangers of gambling like only in our dreams, we can make money from gambling. When gamblers not understanding these, they keep playing and then getting addicted. Because when you want to achieve something, you will not leave that easily like when you keep trying to make money from gambling then you will obviously get addicted.

It's because gamblers really thought that they can really bring the house down and even though at the back of their mind it won't happen, they still proceeded with confidence but we all know what happens next and then the process continues on a cycle until they are addicted and can't control themselves. So its more of a psychological issue and of course being greedy at the same time.

A lot of things can be a reaaon to gambler's addiction in gambling and one of them is yes, greediness.
