Yes market is not in a good condition now because there are many coin continue decrease, even though i see my blockfolio now there is a green but still the price is very low that's why we need to buy more coin especially bitcoin while the price drop.
For long term investment BTC is good. If you are a short term investor then prefer some alts which can you give you good profit in the time of 6 months to one year. Some good altcoins are Ontology, IOTA, ADA etc.
