Without doubt will try to sell to grab the best profit. Other than this will make some regular saving regardless of the price movement, because price increase continues. In future the regular saving might get you a big earning to fulfil big dreams.
well it is my second time that while holding a good amount of bitcoin the price goes up, for the previous time i sold the bitcoin at a good price and this time i am holding my bitcoin and still not going to sell it as i am expecting that the price of bitcoin will to further high price.

Hi,

I'd like to know what do you think is a good strategy when BTC price shoots up and you feel it's going to come down again.
- hold on to your Bitcoin?
- Sell it for USD hoping to buy it again cheaper?
- Sell it for other crypto (in this case which would you choose)?
The best way to make money from bitcoin is magin trading I.e where you make money either market goes up or down. If bitcoin rises up what I will do is to sell it against usd or other asset.

Usually,  I'd take advantage of the situation and would gladly sell it  but since I'm keeping myself from spending my bitcoins to keep as many bitcoins as much as possible.

I will not do anything, Just continue to hold my bitcoins as usual. This is just a safe approach, Most traders might take the risk to earn more.

Most likely I will stay holding it because I think that it has a good future and that it can go to a higher amount too.
that's some sort of investment for the future but i'd suggest you to sell when the price just reached its higher and after that you can wait until the price just falling to get more bitcoin. keep in mind to not getting trapped to everlasting hope of getting higher and higher price when the price is actually have already high
i agree with your opinion, sell it as soon as reached the highest profit you can earn ,
then wait till the price dropped to the lowest and watch the news about another potential drop ,
if the price keep increasing then buy it back with higher amount this time ,
sell it again on the highest profit you can earn and repeat.
Everyone was knowing about the basic thing of trade. but totally it wasn't predicting about the market movement. Sometimes I have seen the people was getting trap by the coin which has just got a little increase and at next will going down over of the speculation by someone. I might have thought to prefer wait until the price was getting decrease again. and I will be buying a lot again.

i have done this several times , bought 2 bitcoin at $350 each and sell it all at $500 each
but then what would you do after that?
i starts from now have a plan to invest in the very long term
i will never sell my bitcoin until it hit the moon and i have urgent needs in the future.
Yes, holding bitcoin for a long time will be more profitable as compare to short term investment, to me short term investment is really too much risky as there is always a chance of panic selling, as you can come in pressure if the price is dropping and can go for panic selling, therefore long term investment the best option for making money specially in bitcoin.
Well if you are really aiming for much bigger returned better to just keep buying and disregard everyrthing just wait for maybe another 1-2 years again and see the results bitcoin will bring good profits just need time and trust.

the scenario you are asking about has only one answer and one answer only! Sell and buy back at the bottom.

because anybody with  clear head is going to see that if price shoots up (suddenly goes up very high) there is always a correction coming afterwards because people are cashing out their investment and also surely after that there will be the rest of the rise which makes a rise a dip and then rise again.

if you are wise and fast you sell on top and buy back in the dip to enjoy the rest.

If you're a trader with enough experience, you'll most of the times know exactly at what point you should sell or buy. If I look at myself, then I have done a pretty good to increase the number of coins that I have. Of course, there is a certain risk involved in the way that the price keeps moving up or down, but you can minimize this risk by buying and selling small fractions instead of large numbers of coins. So far this method has been working out nicely for me.

If the price of bitcoin rises a lot then I will wait until I feel comfortable with my earnings and then cash out and get my profits, rinse and repeat.

Well selling at the right time is really good.  But the question is when is the right time.  Oftentime, what we think does not happen.  So assuming BTC price have met its new floor, and you sold your coins on that new floor, the price of bitcoin might probably increase in price and will never look back.  In this scenario you cannot rinse and repeat.  Probably it is better if we can time the dip and buy bitcoin then sell at the spike.  In every uptrend there is always this kind of event so rinse and repeat is possible here imho.

Tradr it to USD as fast as I can without regrets. Although not all, a big part of my bitcoin is exchanged. It is that easy to make money here and you jut have to wait for it to go down again.

This is what I usually do too. Especially if the price is shooting up very fast, it will also go down fast. You just have to be online when the price is going up so you can have the best price. But if you are in a trading platform, set the sell orders where you can be on profit. Then buy those bitcoin back when the price goes back down.

If bitcoin is just starting to show increase in price,i tend to wait because whenever it happens, its keeps increasing for few days.Thats my view which may be different from other peoples.I tend to sell them after waiting few days (3-4 days) and then sell them and wait for few days to buy them again after observing the price movements.

It all depends on how much profit you make, and also whether you're an investor, or a trader looking to benefit from short term price swings. If the latter, then you can continue buying and selling as the price quite often tend to be repetitive with its price swings. If you know what you are doing, then it can even be seen as an easy money making opportunity. But you need to have the knowledge to exploit returning price swings.

If you're a trader just looking to buy low and sell higher, then it of course depends on the amount of profit that you make. If you buy at for example $500, and the price shoots up to $550 in a matter of days, then I don't see it as an interesting price to sell it. But if the price shoots up to $650-$700 for example, then it's different. That's what will give you enough incentive to secure a certain amount of profits. Just make sure you never cash out all your profits. It will allow you to benefit even more if the price happens to increase further.

Maybe if I'm at the moment is in the bitcoin shoots up and felt it would down far I would sell it. Because if the price to down away will definitely reduce my advantage. And I would buy it if the price down. But usually if the price down are not too large I will continue to hold it and look at the market, if possible prices rose I continue to hold him, but if the price down again I would sell it. That I do if the price down in small quantities.
