Hi,

I'd like to know what do you think is a good strategy when BTC price shoots up and you feel it's going to come down again.
- hold on to your Bitcoin?
- Sell it for USD hoping to buy it again cheaper?
- Sell it for other crypto (in this case which would you choose)?
I will sell it if there is more chances to go down . Because it is better to do with Bitcoin instead to do nothing , Many times i made such types of buy/sell during sharp fluctuations of price and now my total profit is about above of $100 Cool

i think i don't want to sell it because maybe it just a correction for the price and we don't know for sure about this, and if i have to sell, then maybe i only sell for small amount, at least i can survive in trading and i can continue for doing trading.

That's your choice and you can do whatever you want for your coin,  but for i would love to sell my coins if price will spike up for his all time high and surely i will reroll again and buy if the price well go down so i can have another btc to sold when price will spike, and i don't think theres people would surely hold for more longer years since people got some different needs and might surely they well grab their btc if they don't have a choice, and im open for any possibilities thats why im ready to sell nor buy if some changes happen.

If bitcoin is just starting to show increase in price,i tend to wait because whenever it happens, its keeps increasing for few days.Thats my view which may be different from other peoples.I tend to sell them after waiting few days (3-4 days) and then sell them and wait for few days to buy them again after observing the price movements.

- hold on to your Bitcoin?
If im one of the earliest adopters and hold thousands of bitcoins then i will still hold for more years and sell it off when it hits my target price.
- Sell it for USD hoping to buy it again cheaper?
If im a trader then i will surely do this stuff, buy low sell high.
- Sell it for other crypto (in this case which would you choose)?
No intentions to switch into altcoins, just focusing on bitcoins.

since I am more of a long term investor (hodler) I usually keep holding even if there is a sudden price rise because I am too lazy or busy from time to time to open up my cold storage and transfer funds to sell.

but it is a good idea at the same time to try and find these opportunities to sell bitcoin after a big rise (shoot up) and wait for the correction to buy back again, that way you can have a little bit more bitcoin in your pocket in the end.

When the rate of bitcoin pumps, I usually trade it to USD and I found it profitable. Then I'll buy bitcoin as its drate dunps. However, the disadvatage of this way is that, bitcoin may continue going up, then you may lose the chance to earn money if you don't hold it.

If bitcoin price shoot up, there is no other way but to secure profit.  It would be a dumb move if you buy and stock-up bitcoin if the price if it is too high, as far as I know stocking- up happens when the price is cheap.  Holding it for a longer time assuming that price will increase further more is of no assurance.  Bitcoin Price is highly volatile, meaning it may go down tomorrow, if you secured the profit and then the price of BTC goes down the next day, you can buy again and wait for it to shoot up in price again.

How I wish I can really predict the movement of the Bitcoin today or tomorrow so I can prepare whether to convert it into dollar or vice versa. Of course, if it is getting high we can sell Bitcoin and when it is getting low then we buy again...this is the basic principle of currency trading which can also be applied, of course, with Bitcoin.

I am wait and hold the bitcoins, if the price is sideaway i will sell them to fiat because it is signal the price will going down then wait until the price be real down. But depend on our strategy of trading and it is just my strategy i use long term strategy on trading bitcoin to fiat and use short term strategy for trading altcoins.

Well if you buy bitcoins in this time when the price is 745 better to hold it and wait for a long time that you can sell it with the right time so that you can not lose.. because i believe that the price will increase more i am not sure this month because i was just relaying in the last chart that there is a little bit same..  so for now it is not good to buy or if you are holding bitcoins already it is better to wait or if you are satisfied you can sell it right now because i know there is still time that the price will go down back again below 700 value..

a good trader would always want to sell at a peak
but you cannot do that all the time,so just try to exit trades with  profit if you trade short
if you trade long term the most important thing is correct trending
i.e. if your analysis is right and you think that bitcoin price should rise consistently for some period of time or the market  is totally flat
it is better to hold and trade altcoins instead

If you are.certain it will go back down, then sell your bitcoin then short it. You made profit when you sold, then another when it goes down. Then if it is already back down, buy again.  Just repeat the steps when the price shoots up again.
Not all said and done! If I notice an upsurge in price, I will not immediately sell off, my first point of action would be to ascertain, the (fundamentals) forces behind the upsurge and the technical analysis would explain better if that force is spent, like hitting a strong resistance or psychological level, then I may consider selling for USD to buy back when a strong support is hit. I may settle to buy cryptos that are in sync with bitcoin to sell them later, when their price mush have appreciated too.

I exchange or convert it to fiat. My small amount of bitcoin becomes big in fiat when btc shhots up. I convert it and buy something i hardly want. Then i wait again for bitcoin to drop like 50$ then i buy again some bitcoin. And wait a couple of months to sell it again. Then the cycle goes on.

When bitcoin shoots up, buy alt which dropped the most in price but make sure its market cap is worth $Millions so as to be sure the price will rise back up.

When bitcoin shoots up i will wait and see the trend up, if the candle stick gives signal will be more shoots up, i will be hold until there are signal for stop trend of increasing( usually the trend shoots up becomes sideaway) then i will sell them on USD or fiat money and i think i can get profit maximal. But actually depend on the strategy of trading from every traders and it is different.
