I think investing in IEO is much more safer compare to the traditional ICO because the exchange will ensure the developers will not run away with the money, i think also the exchange will verify the identity of people behind the project so if they try to run with the money they will have a hard time hiding.

IEO is only profitable for the exchanges where it's listed. They do it to get attention from customers and the customer will but the tokens directly there. So IEO is very biased and when investing every investor should be aware that they are the product.
Good point to be recognized, the sale itself is a product where both developers and exchange are selling it, after you bought you are still on the processof waiting if whatever will happen to this project, though some liabilities will also be shouldered by the exchange as reputations are stake on it.

IEO are a safer way for buying into a project, however they are also super difficult to get in. I tried buying into celer IEO on binance today, it sold out while my page was still reloading
I'm the same, even though before the sales token was fine. but on entering time the page is very heavy. after I made it in, the token was sold out and I bought late.

I think IEO is becoming the best strategy for startup projects to raise funds. I have seen many projects that offer initial exchange offering raise its funds successful. I first took note of this strategy on Liquid exchange and most projects successfully raised its funds. But raising funds successfully is not what I am worried about but the success of the project.

In my opinion the IEO will last in the long run. because the IEO or ICO is able to compete with other parties. indeed Bittrex and Binance have done crowdfunding, but the IEO is still able to survive by producing good concepts later.

I hope that IEO will totally eliminate fake ICOs and fake teams which last year and 2017 are very rampant on scamming many new investors that resulting huge amount of money out into crypto space and many moving into new kind of investment opportunity other than ICO but the current success of this IEO depends on every exchanges with huge volumes and popularity like Binance and its proven very effective other IEO I can see took days/months to succeed if the exchange is not too big and has limited volume one advantage I can see in an IEO is that investors are not worried in exchange listings as it is usually listed in this exchanges after the IEO unlike in ICO many investors waiting for months just to list tokens on a very low volume exchange or in DEX for free listings.
I think the Initial exchange offering services hase a potential to take down fake ico project just take observation on the Binance launchpad its successfully manage the first IEO in just an hours the token are sold out good for those people who bought fet.

IEO is more promising than ICOs. Many ICOs scam in 2018 and thats make investor confident drop. IEO offering big liquidity from exchanger member and provide certainty to investors about listings on exchangers. Big exchanger following binance step and i think IEO will more attractive in near future

ICO and IEO are almost the same. I think IEO is more interesting for developers, project owner and investors. However, it is important not to write off ICO.

Not fo all devs and owners, because not every project has enough money to pay for listing on exchange.

Not much can be said about long term as the Cryptos ecosystem is evolving rapidly. Initial exchange offerings are showing signs of better results since it removes the fear of whether or not the tokens will eventually be listed and investors do not have to wait for longer period before they can liquidate their tokens.It also thrives on the reputation of the exchange which give another layer of security or integrity to the project.I think the model is nice at the moment
