IEO and ICO are both same the only difference is that the IEO is conducted and supported by exchange. In past Binance has also done ICO the past IEO is more popular and trusted if it is conduct by big exchange like Binance,Bittrex etc.
Eventually, initial exchange offering (IEO) has proven to become the best and successful option for most start-ups. It has shown that people easily Trust an IEO because it is linked to a respected body. Not that they totally Trust the project but because they believe in the exchange which launched the start up. if projects that went through IEO becomes successful and have great liquidity, then people will turn to it as the best option
It seems to me that both parties have the right to exist. You can not say exactly what is the best. We can only assume that IEO will last longer, as I personally have more confidence in this.
I think same thing will happen with IEOs in long term. In the starting everything seems good but we can not say IEOs will be very successful in future too. We can not judge the success of IEOs on the basis of BitTorrent and Fetch successful event by Binance. I believe ICOs will also remain here they will again get momentum. Bittrex anounced too an IEO but I think that event has been already cancelled If I am correct. I believe ICOs will survive in the long run as compare to the IEOs.
When people looks boring and lost confident invested at ICO because most of investors has been lost their money during investing at ICO and IEO was appears and i heard last time IEO coin such as BNB or binance coin had good demand so possibly other popular exchange will so motivated with the successfully of BNB and created their own coins such as bittrex will do or maybe on 2019 could be happend the year of IEO
We see the demand for Initial Exchange Offerings growing very fast. It’s a way better vehicle and efficient vehicle than ICOs, at least that’s the general sentiment at the time. It seems like a natural direction where the market is evolving
They are verified and usually ICO has lots of problems getting to a reputable exchange, well of course it benefit project owners and exchanges to most (due to many internal negotiation going on) still there's lesser chance for you to get SCAMMED immediately, in my opinon IEO is better against normal ICOs as there's less work and tokens launched are guaranteed with some good volume early
ICO and IEO are almost the same. I think IEO is more interesting for developers, project owner and investors. However, it is important not to write off ICO.

Not fo all devs and owners, because not every project has enough money to pay for listing on exchange.
Not for all investors, bacuse only the holder of a verified account on the exchange can participate in IEO, and not anyone who wishes.

In my opinion the IEO will last in the long run. because the IEO or ICO is able to compete with other parties. indeed Bittrex and Binance have done crowdfunding, but the IEO is still able to survive by producing good concepts later.
On my opinion as of now it's hard to take a risk on those ICO or IEO because most of them now are really turning into scammed after a months or weeks after their offers. But if those big projects now will going to offer it I guess it will going to have less risk.
IEOs have been great so far, I'm also happy that Bittrex finally decided to do some background checks on people using their name to sell their ICO off - better late than never.
This is a more modern ICO interpretation, which is better suited to the wishes of investors. If IEO is held on one of the leading stock exchanges, which values its reputation very much, then this project will be very carefully checked to prevent fraudsters or simply projects that are not interesting for investors and not damage the reputation of this exchange. Bittrex of course strongly screwed up with companies that have provided in ieo , I think leader is of course binance, I so same participated in btt and well on this earned I think the next ieo will bring good money i think icos are beginning to find their feet because binance conducting the crowdfunding event for BitTorrent and Fetch.AI has raised the hyped again.

It will give more security if the exchange is well known you will have rest of mind that your money is actually handled well

I don't like IEO because it's centralized ICO. The exchange is in charge of token distribution and that's why it's not decentralized how ICO should be. The exchanges will profit a lot from IEO and they shill it all the time. Person who will made biggest profit is exchange. And IEO has no advantages against scams and scammers.
I just found out about the IEO just now, it looks like this will be something more interesting than ico, but I don't understand whether it's similar to STO which is safer than ICO?

Basically, IEO is an ico which already verified by exchange site and that exchange site wanna create a cooperation with that ico. this just like a symbiosis mutualism. It's all money in play here. But I suppose the exchange is also doing their job of at least checking if the project is genuine or not. Because if later on, they will find out that the only motive of this IEO project is to scam people, then that's a bad reputation also from the exchange's side. So I think there is less probability that a project holding their ICO under a known exchange will end up crap.

ICO It seems that it is not too attractive to investors at this time because many frauds ICO and IEO is the answer, this is a good transition even though it might have an impact on the bounty hunter. Investors will certainly prefer the IEO because on the other hand their funds are guaranteed (At least). The exchange is also not carelessly provide the fundraising Platform to the project right? This concerns their reputation. So IEO will become newest Hype until there are other new solutions that are better.
