Yes, I think immortality is possible via mind uploading. For me, that’s the most feasible method as compared to cryogenics or even AI or artificial organs. Releasing the mind from the body, I guess, is the most technically correct way to stay alive. Our physical bodies can’t live forever. It can have a long life, but with sickness and old age –it’s the huge life inhibitor, right?

Immortality!?
I really believe that such thing is very dangerous for humanity:
- being brain-bright and body-exhausted crawling thousand years? Not jet set, but everyone...
- being mind-exhausted and fitted physically? Jumping morrons all around...
No thank you. I better knock on St.Peter's door...

I wouldn't want to watch my family and friends die, immortality is not a good idea.

As some distance as I recognise there are a person whos a billionaire that is beginning a task of setting all his reminiscence into the computer. He gathered lots of geniuses everywhere in the international to think about a way to try this impossible feat. Do you observed they are able to surpass this not possible? If they can try this venture there will be a whole lot of openings of discovery referring to these venture like turning humans into robots a good way to live forever. Making cyborgs even pets, I assume this is genuinely frightening.

Immortality in theory does not exist because I do not know a cure discovered to be able to not grow old there may be something in the future to be able to live longer or may not

I think that eternity exists only in the world of film and if there is an eternity in this world would be very lucky for people who have the good fortune

What do you think about immortality? Will people find immortality in the future?
Is it possible to transfer a digital copy of the brain to a computer environment?
Eternity belongs only to God. humans will never feel eternity at any time. eternity only exists in movies.

Not possible. But I wish I were immortal, there are so many exciting things to do in life, it'd take a hundred lifetimes and I'd still have 90% of the stuff left to explore. I'm surprised when people say they're bored and have nothing to do, give me your time haha

Sooner or later you would get bored cause you would try literally everything. And you will have to see every person you know die which is also kind of depressing.

I think this is fatal for humanity. Especially if this is the fate of the elect. A complete rethinking of culture and worldview.

Nothing special for me, because you will just keep repeating your boring life and in the end you just bored to do it and make you want to die eventually.

Immortality can never happen because you cannot prolong life, even if you are very healthy but once you get old your body will weaken and you can never transfer a brain & soul to a computer or a robot. there is no such thing as immortality.
