maybe not, mark already rich with his facebook and if it happen maybe in next year, even facebook not support crypto advertisement how he want to make coin/token for it. He will wait until people forget about what he block first, crypto advertisement.

I guess Facebook will have a lot of success because it is a huge company and can afford to advertise. Also as FB is an advertising ecosystem in itself it will do it's own level or marketing just on it's own Social network. I have heard that Facebook is getting blockchain experts to evaluate the blockchain but how true is it a fact that Facebook will create its own coin? Do you have a source I can read more about it to back up this claim? I am interested to read more about it and thanks in advance also.
With in the popularity of Facebook its not surprising that they will make its own coin someday. Its a good sign if Facebook start also to get involve with crypto and make a coin of their own. Because they will attract a lot of investor and users with their followers alone even only 20 percent will join too with a huge impact to the crypto world.
If Facebook creates its own crypto currency, its popularity will depend on the degree of implementation as a means of payment and emission conditions. In any case, it is unlikely to replace bitcoin, because 1) it is centralized 2) it is subject to US law.

think so. it's facebook, after all, it is kind of destined for success. but in the future i guess a lot of companies of such kind will release its own currency. if bitcoin still alive by that time

I think it's normal because cryptocurrency is the hottest trend at the moment and seem like Facebook is really going to create their own cryptocurrency. I think there will be some ways that we can earn Facebook's cryptocurrency and it'll be much better if we can use Facebook's cryptocurrency to pay for some services on Facebook like running ads about our goods which we wanna sell on Facebook. LOL.

We first need to think about why Facebook will release its own coin, what they would get out of it? Personally I do not see a reason for Facebook to do it, but supposing it did I think there will be many people that will use it just because it comes from Facebook but since I have never had a Facebook account then it is obvious I will not have any use for a coin like that and while some people waste their money in such a coin I will keep investing in bitcoin.

I think that such a social network can take responsibility and create one of the best coins in the world. I will not say that the new coin will be able to overtake bitcoin, but second place it will be able to.
