Facebook has a lot of influence and is influenced by a lot of factors to develop and use in different countries. I think Facebook will not build its own digital currency!
I don't mind that they will create it, even if it happened, I will not join to this untill it won't get the necessary level of value and volumes, I don't trust to facebook.
I think if Facebook had released its crypto, it would have been the most popular coin.
Facebook has already billions of users and on that billion, there would always be people who will be enticed to join and invest in the project imply because it is Facebook.
Facebook is the opposite from a decentralised organisation, it's one of a handful companies that control the entire public cloud Industry, just like Amazon, Google or Netflix. Especially Facebook makes money by selling user data to third parties so they can market effectively. In my view, there will be blockchain based social networks in the future that will wipe out these established players.
Facebook will definitely make coins that are centralized, they are not stupid by making decentralized coins, it might work like ripple. 
I think that this idea will not be so promising and profitable than it could be because there are too many stronger platforms which could create own coin.
If you take into account that Facebook has so many users, their crypto currency will be in great demand!

I think it will be a huge one and probably would be a successful coin in the future due to the popularity that Bitcoin is already having at this point. Many people would be using it especially if applications related to facebook will no longer be free making it a functional crypto unlike the tokens which are now considered to be dead due to lack of consistency on the project's growth and function.

it will have a good impact to the market, but I dont think that facebook will release their new coin, because it will mean that they will suspend the banning of crypto into their website. it will be impossible for now to have a crypto for facebook.

There's no doubt a Facebook coin will appreciate in value and be a success. Facebook is already a big brand, the big brand tag will always rub off on the coin which will definitely make its value skyrocket.
I think in case facebook release own coin, it will be out of competency and no one will beat this sucess, but I believe that facebook should waste a lot of time and money, why don't they collaborate with existing blockchain platforms?

Let's look at the results of telegram by Pavel Durov now. But when you consider that his ICO has collected more money than all of ICO for 2017. I think Facebook, with its audience coverage, should not miss this opportunity. But time will tell.
