I would be grateful if you could share your thoughts on this and answer these questions:

1. Do you read casino reviews?

Yes, I read casino reviews before I attempt to gamble at a specific online gambling platform.

Reviews are the lifeblood of a casino- they are the testament of the actual experiences of a person who have tried such platform and they share their personal thoughts on what happened during their stay with it.

Quote
2. Do you find any casino reviews useful? If so, please share some examples of good casino reviews that you find useful.

Yes I found several reviews useful.

One example here are the ANN thread of online gambling platforms which currently have a respective campaign signature on this forum. You can clearly observe that several users have shared their experiences and even recommended some useful tips that can improve the experience of everyone.

Quote
3. What should a casino review contain to make you read it?

First of all, a casino review should contain all the detailed experience of such user. It must also contain verified facts and screenshots that can further fortify if there is an argument against it. A casino review should be complete on all its aspects and that the user must explain in detailed all the problems or suggestions he may have.

....

For example, I am a live betting enthusiast and am looking for all the information about it...likewise options for betting, minimum amount to play, if they have softwares or tools for automated betting and so on...

in the past I have read reviews on specific games (I did a job where I looked for all the sites that had a specific casino games). and in fact it helps a lot!
because if you are looking for a specific option in a game, these are the types of reviews that interest you.

Of course it requires time and only people interested are willing to provide such info.

What makes you believe that reviews are genuine? This days companies pay people to write up good reviews for them, and some know how to find their ways around it, by making good reviews available and cleaning off the bad reviews, short answer, don't trust every reviews you come across online.

I will like to give a try, after doing my own research and making sure that the online casino is not a scam casino, you can never tell what your experience with the online casino will look like, I have tried few and what matters most is their game providers, few are generally bad but not all of them.

If you want the best gambling platforms you can't go wrong using this Bitcointalk forum to find the next one, don't go online looking through search engines, you will get the bad ones too.
Yes you are absolutely correct, I too normally participate in some reviews that I am being given an opportunity, and you know, most of this companies, sites, business, and some investments don't have good qualities but I don't because of the little amount of money that those reviews pays will make the participants say good things about the company whereby the company doesn't deserve it.
However, it is not everyone's mind that money can buy, some people will still say the truth even if they are in a position to debate, but still I have to agree with you on what you have said so far, like it is not every review that are correct and some of them are false, although if one wants to know about a site or a company, I don't think that looking at the reviews is the only option to think about.

I occasionally read casino reviews, especially if I'm considering signing up for a new one. First of all, what kind of games do they provide? Is there a wide variety? Are there any deposit bonuses? If yes, how do they compare with the competition? What options do I have for deposits? How fast are withdrawals processed? I wouldn't mind if I had to wait a few hours up to a day, but I'd like to know the general idea.

A review should include the answers to my previous questions while giving constructive feedback on how the website performs—are there any bugs, and is the layout user-friendly and convenient? And so on. Moreover, it would be even better if it was a genuine review and not a paid endorsement, as it's likely to be sugarcoated if you're getting paid for it.

Clever way of advertising your site op which I liked. Coming to your query, I do check out casino reviews regularly on various sites to make sure that I stick to credible ones over shady sites.

For crypto gambling sites, Bitcointalk is my first preference. For FIAT gambling sites, SBR is my first preference.
Just like me also, Bitcoin Talk is my best review platform since the reviews of the members in this forum reflect the true experience of members of this forum and most importantly no member is under obligation to give out a review so no one will be pressured to offer such reviews so for sure there is no form of manipulation of facts which is obviously the best part of it all and what differentiate this forum from the third party reviews sites.

Many of them that have been trusting have failed the client when they usher in fake and false reviews, but if it is from forum members we will have multiple such to take from,  but if we ask for what the best aspect of the casino that the reviews should capture os in the area of withdrawal and deposits,  how best they chose to handle it to meet up with clients demands on the long run.

I read casino reviews mainly if these concern specific games or explain how to use certain bonuses.
For the rest I consider them all practically the same, the functions and mechanisms are the same, I don't expect to see any big differences. of course main info that I want to see are about "withdrawal fees", list of games available, details related support....
Reviews on specific games will be a complete new concept in the world of casino review website, but it's one that will surely turn out to be a welcome development for any review site that will take up that task.
I call it a task because, having to review games, or specific games as you called it, will be a very time consuming process, owning to the fact that a reviewer won't just find any game and write a review on it, he or she will have to first and foremost, play that game for some time, maybe like a week or more, before he or she settles down to write a review on such a game, which also will serve as his or her personal experience playing that game.

And this also, he or she will do for all other different games, and on different casinos specifically.
Personally, I will not say that it's not possible, but then, this is work, and at the end of the day, the reviewer still have to check and see if the reward or profit he makes for doing is, is actually worth the workload, the sacrifice and stress he or she goes through, or will go through.

1. Do you read casino reviews?
Yes, when checking a newly launched casino here in Bitcointalk that has existed for many months the community will have a glimpse on how the casino performs based on the reviews before they play on the platform.

Quote
2. Do you find any casino reviews useful? If so, please share some examples of good casino reviews that you find useful.
Yes but I have to respect your post and not drop link reviews coming from other casino review sites

Quote
3. What should a casino review contain to make you read it?
The review should explore all areas of the casinos especially the terms of service and the deposit and withdrawal features of the casinos and the reviewer should play as many games as possible.
Transparency is very important and should always take the side of the gambling community more than the interest of the casino.

Even I would encourage the OP to also make an ANN thread for his casino review website and it can also help him get engagement to his site.

As far as the OP question is concerned, I would like to see a detailed review of the casino's site along with the real time feedback from the gamblers too. One thing that is missing in most gambling review sites, is that we only get the reviews from the admin and it can be biased too based upon the preferences of the admin/owner of the gambling site.

If the users are allowed to put comments about the gambling sites, then it may give more clear and more fair review of the gambling and casino sites.

I don't really use casino review websites that much, but sometimes when a new casino launches I lightly skim the reviews before giving them a try. In this case initially I see if there is any issue with withdrawal then some reviews related to KYC verification term and bonus. My personal opinion is check it out personally first with a small amount of money because many times it appears that casino review websites have paid reviews.

I'm also like that, I gambled by not reading reviews on the site, because I don't think it's mandatory either, with my intention of just wanting to have fun so I didn't deepen or understand the existing reviews, even though they're important because they include rules maybe yes. there is that site, but I do it on a new site because in my own experience I have been cheated, so if I gamble on a new site I do that, because once I played on a site that didn't pay out the winnings I got, even though I I've tried to communicate with the staff on the site but I still can't get the winnings because they don't pay me and what they do is block my account.

and I think it's important to read reviews on sites we're new to, but for sites we're used to playing, I don't think it's necessary to read the reviews completely.

Ok, for one thing.... I want honest reviews, not biased "copy&paste" reviews from other sites.

I want the person that reviewed the site to physically test every aspect of the site, namely :

1. Speed of withdrawals
2. Response time of the customer support
3. Responsiveness of the site (Speed tests / Lag testing etc..)
4. Calculating all the available games.
5. Checking the availability of original games.

This are the kind of information that I am interested in, not the generic crap that some of these review sites are dishing up.  Roll Eyes

1. In the past yes , I am a fan and reader specially if I am interested in the site.

2. useful back in the days , but these days? most if not all are just a popularization , making god reviews to their allies and attack those not.

3. Reality , truthfulness .

4. In this I am not interested because obviously you are only promoting your site here.

5. nothing to add.

1. Seldom. As most of them doesn't really give an honest and fair review as listing in review sites are mostly paid by those gambling site or the link was a referral and they wouldn't tell the bad site of the site or else they will not earn thorough their referral or affiliate thing.
2. Not at all. Sometimes I only look if it is allowed to play in my country, what coins are available to deposit or if the KYC is mandatory.
3. Fair and honest review. Transparent information, tackle previous issues, and thorough review of the features of the casino/gambling site.
4. Your reviews are not bad at all, and I like the pros and cons as I can easily read it rather than in paragraph form.
5. From time to time, maybe you could add the current promotion they have, maybe research some issues or cons of the gambling site such as, current speculation about not giving the withdrawal (cons) and donating on some charity or similar (pros).

Theres are a lot of casino review platforms today but most of them are paid so its hard too much to trust them recently and of course, we want to have transparent reviews come from the user and not just get paid, consider having the data and statistics of course to make sure the information is reliable.

  • Rate
  • Stars
  • Events
  • Players response/feedback with their experience

Those must be transparent as possible of course to make sure what kind of pros and cons they see while using the platform.

Thank you all in advance for your attention and time. I would be happy to discuss this topic with anyone who wants to.

1. I read casino reviews occasionally, especially when I am researching a new casino. Sometimes you come across casinos that offer attractive bonuses and you want to read about them to check their reputation.
2. Some of these sites are useful but I don't rely on one review website. This is because some of them are not reliable, they might be sponsored by some specific casinos to promote their services.
3. Information on KYC, casino licence, bonuses, deposit and withdrawal policy, accepted currency, exceptional games, etc. Casino reviews should be trustful and bias free which will assist gamblers to get the correct information. Immediately gamblers know that your reviews are flawed, and the website will have a bad reputation.
4. I will check on the information when I have the time. But you would have gotten quality reviews if you paid for the review services.
When it comes on reading reviews then these are the primary things that i do look always.

1. Instant withdrawal
2. Fees
3. Games offered
4. KYC thingy
5. Fast UI/UX
6. Good user experience
7. Large community

Once i  do see these things and checked out into my criteria then this is where i do really consider out on making up some deposits into a particular
gambling site. When it comes on which review sites then its been already that mentioned by some members but for the benefit then BTCGOSU would be the best or fit out into this
manner when it come or talks about casinos reviews and guides. Owner itself is a reputable and known member of this forum on which he/she do knows on how
this market works and wary about on the things that been happening.

Everything should really be that true and precise so that readers who do able to read up would really be able to know on the information that are really
that attached into the said platform. There should be no bias when it comes to review and this is much more recommended.

Casino review sites tell more about the casino which will make the gamblers to be interested to visit the site but most of the casinos just make a brief review for the but the reviews I have seen from gamblingbros and WolfBet Review are very good reviews that someone can recommend. When reviewing a site there are specific things readers like to see and once those things are not found then they would not use that service again. It is good to give a comprehensive review than brief review.

I see a lot of talks about KYC, defenitely that is something that we all hate and want to be notified of when reading the review before signing up on the site, hence its in my list too.

Additionally a list of restricted countries might be helpful for many of us plebs.

I personally would like a ticker for Investment option - like whether the casino is giving an option for people to invest in their bankroll - sites that do that are freebitco.in, Bustabit, Bitvest, Moneypot and so on.

After making sure that the casino is safe to use you need to find the rest out by using the platform, some people will complain about every casinos for different reasons and when you use the casinos you will find out they are better choice for you, this is why I don't take every reviews very seriously.

It's just like movies and games, some people will find a movie very interesting even if it's underrated and some will talk trash about the movie, it's the same vibe from gamers too, like someone told me about a FPS game on PC and the same game was one of those games I've played and finished few years back, I was shocked that he didn't like the game.

When it comes to online casinos, not all reviews will be truthful, some will be steps to ruin the casinos reputation and some will be over exaggerated, some people even break the rules of the casino and they are banned, this is what makes they to write poor review for the casino, apart from scam behaviours or unregistered casinos, I am good, but still I just like most casinos on bitcoin talk.

1. Yes, I definitely read casino reviews and try to get as much information as possible about new casinos. In case it's an older casino where I have been playing for a few years without any red flags, then I am not too worried about a bad review. Because there can always be a person that lost large and wants to say something bad about the casino. So, for me reviews are mostly important about new casinos that I never heard about.

2. Yes, some casino reviews are useful. When it's about new features or new promotions that I haven't heard about. Also, reviews that warn about delayed payments or issue with the support staff are very important. Any red flag that could lead to serious issues down the line could be a problem.

3.  A casino review should contain all the parts of the casino, how are the games, how is the process to deposit money and withdraw it again, how many promotions are there from time to time, how is the support staff and can you quickly to talk to person when there is an issue.

I think casino reviews are a bit tricky, because we don’t have any verification that all the claims are true. When it comes to the internet people can claim a lot of things, without being accountable for it. That is why we should try and read as many reviews as possible, because the more people share similar experience the more value we can put on them.
