It may happen, it may not, if the ban does occur, it may only make a temporary decline, because crypto does not depend only on the US, in other parts of the country there are still many people who use crypto.

If the USA bans cryptocurrency it will certainly have an impact on such a large price, because very many companies are also in the united states that use cryptocurrency, perhaps america is now limiting its use, not in banning it, because it has a big impact, because america is a strong country in the economy . after China.

I think it wouldn't happen because the US supports cryptocurrency a lot. If such banning would happens, it will negatively affect the economy as well as the market situation since most investors are from the US as well as the project developers of other altcoins. It could possibly crash down a lot of top coins.

I also agree Bitcoin started in the US and its people are one of the early and strongest supporters if you are a President you will not make an unpopular decision that can lose the support of the majority of voters, so many US voters are already investing in Cryptocurrency and they are part of the major players in the industry.

A US ban wouldn't be the best thing to happen to bitcoin as we know it has a good share of investors and hodlers coming from this location, so should they take the news in a negative way panic selling would be the order of the day. But am sure people have thought about this and will have a plan b should it come to this.

I'd expect another dump in the market. But this time, the scale may not be that large when Chinese government did it. And I wouldn't expect a different thing to happen rather than a dump. For example, it wouldn't be sensible to wait for the market to be just gone. This market is stronger than ever now.

Anything can happen even though it is difficult to find the exact reason why America banned cryptocurrencies, as for the impact there will be a decrease in prices from what has happened to China which banned crypto in 2017. but I'm sure decline will not long, because gradually it will find its balance back in the market.
i dont think USA will banned cryptocurrency market, US government already make policy to protect their citizen from by restrict them following ICO project. recently i saw one of SEC commisioner said that ETF should approved, and this is good signal for us in near future.

Certain countries, such as South Korea have already banned the ICO, and as far as I know the US government hasn't taken this step yet. And in the US, it may be up to the state governments to decide on such issues, rather than the federal government. And regarding the ETF, the SEC has refused to approve it. Different funds have made requests over the last 3-4 years, but none of them were approved for listing in the NASDAQ. The SEC hasn't explicitly stated that they will not approve the ETFs. But the general consensus is that getting an approval is impossible.

we definitely lose a lot of value on cryptocurrency, and it will fall deeper, but instead of weighing the destroyed cryptocurrency, if it happens it may have an effect like china that tires cryptocurrency, or even more, because the USA also has a lot of cryptocurrency companies, I think for now they limit it, not prohibit it.

Do you guys think one day USA may ban cryptocurrencies? If yes what would happen? I think it's not totally impossible and that would be a global crash on prices.
US banning crypto will for sure have a great negative impact on the crypto market in general as everything might come crashing down, but the good news still is that no country or government can stop the existence of crypto, crypto is here to stay and even if countries, government or group of individuals succeed in crashing the market, the good news still is that the market will still come back around and rise again after some time.
But then, I personally don't think US is ever going to ban crypto anyway, though it's possible , but I don't think they will.

Am not a US citizen, but this is clear if it happens, US citizens will either get discouraged, intimidated and leave crypto-currency or the can like me -my country has a ban on crypto-currency- and find another alternative to continue from.
But I think unlike my country the level the government gives to human rights, is way off the league of the one my country gives to it's citizens.
I believe if the black lives matter was something I can hold on to, then US citizens knows their constitutional rights and are willing to fight for it, I must be honest I don't think the US can actually spear head that and successful implement a ban on crypto-currency to it citizens.

Nothing to substantial will happen.... is a big lie. Anyone that tells you that if USA bans crypto nothing would change in the long term is lying to you. Sure doesn't matter which nation bans it crypto will have a crash and in the long run (think of many years) it will recover and get better however eventually we are going to end up with nothing at all if USA is the one that does it. Why? Because they are one of the biggest spenders of crypto world and they spend a ton of money, there is really nothing we can do to equalize that with other nations because if USA bans it then that means other nations will look at it differently and everyone will be running around.

It could be done, USA could ban it and we could still survive but that requires every single other nation to full on support it and that is not going to happen anytime soon I can tell you that.

The United States have strict regulations on these cryptocurrencies, but not outright banning them like what the Chinese government did. However, assuming that it’s gonna happen, it will cause a huge impact in the entire crypto market. We could see a decline not just on the price alone, but for the number of wallet holders as well like what is happening in the UK now.
- Especially during this time, we have also seen the establishment of a lot of miners in the United States, they are the ones who have moved from China to the United States to find more comfort in certain regulations, if the US suddenly goes into a crypto ban, with such unrecovered losses, they will force liquidation of some more cryptos and as a result, the market will continue to have problems falling. But it is true that the US is still only requiring a few tax filing and declaration processes, they do not have a comprehensive ban

I don't think it is very likely that US would outright ban crypto currency, but if they did it the effects would be devastating. Probably all crypto coins would go into a massive sell off. There are quite a few companies who invested into cryptos, with a ban they all would need to sell their coins in a short period of time. I think we would see a panic if that happens.
panic would be much bigger this time because the fall is larger and we are talking about the u.s  .
its one of the biggest country that holds bitcoins but if i were them i will control my self because there are still more countries left that dont ban btc and probably wont ban btc anymore .
instead of panicking they can use the oppurtunity to buy bitcoins as theres a chance that u.s will unban btc like what other countries did .

It can be said that the US and Chinese markets are the two most developed Crypto regions. Crypto US community has a good investment virtue as holding and they have many serious crypto projects.
If the US bans Crypto, the cryptocurrency market will really crash. I think that's unlikely because at the moment reputable organizations and individuals are pro-crypto in this country.

Here bitcoin is treated as an asset/property. We have clear guidelines and rules on how to trade, hold or sell bitcoins or any other crypto currencies. So I don't see any reason why the government would want to ban crypto currencies. The government knows that they can't "ban" something that is decentralized. So instead of being stupid and banning it like some of the countries did, they decided to regulate it. Even if they do (very highly unlikely), we will see the  price nosedive. Going to have a very long impact on the market and may probably then recover.

It will be total clashes in the price of bitcoin. Not huge in single day, their may be slightly changes for a week.At the end, it will be loss for us. US, UK holding huge amount of bitcoin as compared to other Nation in the world. Some whales also in this two states, who manipulate the market.

Assuming that US banning cryptocurrency will really take place, of course it would have a drastic impact in the price, as when China did the banning. But knowing that US is an innovative, futuristic and a game changer country, I don’t think that it will be ban cryptocurrency seeing how it benefits the people and the government in such ways as well. As said by the many here, it would be more likely on implementation of restrictions.

Negative impact for market ofcourse, but it is never will, America is modern country that never ban crypto, The government can ban it, but not the US people, there are many ways to keep using it, even if the government forbids it. After all, the issue of US banning crypto always arise from year to year, crypto veterans must understand this.
