In all honesty, I really cannot give a good answer on this. Of course Bitcoin maximalists would say that Bitcoin is bigger than the U.S.. that Bitcoin can survive anything. But you can see how a China ban on Bitcoin already made some big lows in the price of Bitcoin. That will affect the price of Bitcoin even more. But of course, you can just hodl your Bitcoins for a little longer until the situation becomes normal again. A U.S. ban on crypto might not be permanent and it will make some lighter restriction as time goes on.

The United States have strict regulations on these cryptocurrencies, but not outright banning them like what the Chinese government did. However, assuming that it’s gonna happen, it will cause a huge impact in the entire crypto market. We could see a decline not just on the price alone, but for the number of wallet holders as well like what is happening in the UK now.

They are making money with bitcoin so there's no reason to ban it, All they can do is regulate and put some restrictions on its usage on its country. But so far, i dont see them going after bitcoin like china did anytime soon.

The USA has a different kind of government compared to China, and we never heard the news or even rumors that the USA is planning to ban cryptocurrency. In fact, the news is more on regulation, and that the fact that they are talking more about regulation, means crypto is accepted already.

Do you guys think one day USA may ban cryptocurrencies? If yes what would happen? I think it's not totally impossible and that would be a global crash on prices.
I do also think it will give a huge impact to the market which could make market crash, but its seems does seems impossible in my opionion, China ban bitcoin mining in 2021 give a huge impact on market which make bitcoin correcting 50% from the top, but dont think china would ban cryptocurrency and bitcoin forever , cause china crypto market is huge and they also lose so many tax from investing in cryptocurrency which i dont think a good idea for the economy.

I don't think US will ban crypto, because they are one of the futuristic country. In case if they ban then it is obvious that price will fall in short term like recently China bans.
But crypto is giving freedom to the every person in the country. El Salvador is the best example.

if they are really serious about banning bitcoin, they should have shut it down from the year 2010 to 2017, what they only do is harass and chase bitcoin holders, maybe they also take the bitcoin, and keep it, other countries have done it to like saying in the news china, Russia, but in the end, they end up, allowing it, it's already too late to stop cryptocurrency, what they can only do is to regulate, pass a bill, regulating, and paying taxes, i think that's their no.1 target to milk taxes from the people who holds it, that's not far from being a reality I think, that's what the government is leaning in.

China has banned cryptocurrencies and we've seen what's happened. The prices have come down at a high rate. But I'm not sure if the news only by itself did affect the prices that deeply. If the US does the same, I think that the same thing might happen again.

Yes, that's right, countries that prohibit cryptocurrencies that are currently happening need to be seriously considered, why is this all happening, and what are the plans of the country that prohibits it now, and what the country will do in the future.
And hope that it will be normal when this all happens, hopefully there will be no changes in the cryptocurrency market assets when it all happens.

I also think that it would definitely have an impact on the price and by that i mean a negative impact of course, but to be honest i don't think that the effects would be to big. Just look at the recent news of the new rules in china where they banned the mining facilities the price went down quite a bit yes but i did not really dump into oblivion because the crypto space is not the same anymore as it was 3 years ago. It has matured quite a bit, that's why such news don't have that big of an impact anymore. If you look at the news that el salvador now accepts bitcoin as an official currency. This news would have been huge a few years ago, but now it did not really have an impact on the market.

The same thing that happened after Chinese government banned cryptocurrencies can happen in this situation also. We could see another dump. But this time, I don't think that it'd be at a too high rate. Because it's not a new thing anymore. Bitcoin has started developing immunity to the same kind of actions.

Although I think this is unlikely to happen, but there's always a possibility, even if the probability is tiny tiny small. If the United States really bans cryptocurrency one day, i think it will be the biggest blow to the crypto market in the history, the influence is wide and the destructive power is unimaginable, and it is very likely to kill the cryptocurrency in the cradle.

I think the United States will not ban Bitcoin. If it does so, it may have a big impact on the market. Before, the United States had a very friendly attitude towards cryptocurrency, and there are also many companies in the country that are involved in cryptocurrency, coming to the United States. It is also a business opportunity, and it also brings a lot of benefits to the United States. Some capital in the United States hopes to harvest wealth through Bitcoin, but they are worried that the development of Bitcoin will be out of control.

What Bitcoin needs most now is time. As long as there is enough time, an unbreakable alliance of interests can be established. But before that, if the attitude of the United States changes, then Bitcoin may collapse in an instant. Some people may doubt the ability of the United States. Think about how many allies the United States has. It is likely that they will advance and retreat together on the issue of Bitcoin.

I don't think the USA will banned cryptocurrency because most of the crypto investors are coming from US countries so its very difficult for them. If may ever happen that soon i think the price will drop deeply but it does not mean its the end.
if you think like that, don't some of the crypto mining industry also exist in China. why did they ban it?
actually not impossible that all happened. The US has a big impact if it does all that. moreover, they have allies strong enough to be able to quickly destroy the crypto market. but even if it happens I guess it's all just a strategy for big investors to return to their crypto holdings at lower prices.

I don't think they are going to ban it, if they want a ban they should have done it when it was just starting out when it's very much easy to ban them, but now with huge adoption especially in their territory, I don't think they will spend time and money just to make Cryptocurrency to disappear, especially now that the US is facing a lot of issues, banning it is the least of their concern.
The US is the largest bitcoin holder country, so with the capacity they have, they have benefits for its people, if they can develop it, of course the people will prosper, because they seem to have control for now so it becomes something that is hard to believe if they will turn off bitcoin

If the US does the same, I think that the same thing might happen again.
it may even worst than it. We know this so well if the US can be seen as the most potential country to adopt crypto and so many of big investors on crypto were coming from there.
that means if the US would ban crypto and it will become a very big disaster for any crypto currency investors.
Tihs time US has become the country that will be thinking crypto in a good way rather than china. We are very close to the adoption that will be happening with US investors to the crypto.
They do not just have the potential but the US is a more influential country than the rest. If the US tends to ban cryptocurrency, the domino effect will follow and many countries will do the banning scheme. It is undeniable to have a huge impact but thinking they will ban is closest to impossible knowing that they are also looking forwards to the benefits that they are able to get. And instead of banning, now we are asking for their full support and make it legal.

Another market landslide if such happens. we might see another bear and bitcoin might slide down to 5,000 if such ever happens.  the current battle between government fiscal policies that govern fiat and crypto continues and financial institutions will do whatever it takes to make sure that crypto does not succeed. i think that will affect the marketcap heavily.
