i think it's normal because ethereum is alts and bitcoin is the main coin all alts follow current if bitcoin when it comes to price. Due to me, I think ethereum follows the bitcoin stream that is why sometimes if bitcoin rises ethereum will follow and if it goes down the eth will go down too
this is all just because people are frantically selling their coins calm ETH it's a strong coin not long they will rise again just wait that time and keep your ETH

It drops only because BTC is unstable, or better say stable in its weak position under 10ooo$. ETH alome could.do much better this year, so many positive news

I think ETH price drops because someone is dump the price may be the mainnet preparation platform, they will switch to their own blockchain and they can sell off the ETH they are holding

Right, they are correlated actually but once bitcoin explode the price this year ethereum is next to increase. Let's see this mid year if there is a changes may happen on crypto price. Instead of panic selling why not hold for a while and wait when price be back to normal.

It's totally depend on supply and demand . If Bitcoin rise but still ethereum is go down that means demand is low of Ethereum. Also papers and dumpers work may caused the drop in price
when bitcoin drop the price, the ethereum will drop in the market and the faster it can recover as well. The price of ethereum at a cheap price while bitcoin continues to recover the price,
like the current price of ethereum, that's what causes the price of ethereum to fall at such a cheap price. and I think the price of ethereum is currently dependent on bitcoin prices, as long as bitcoin still gets bad news bitcoin prices will stay below and tends to decrease
Eth price depends on bitcoin price , it react to the bitcoin fluctuations , Eth has done so well so far if you take a look at it's history , The only thing that can bring it back on the road is bitcoin and the market volume , If fresh money goes to market again and the volume increase then We should see some good movements.
eth is always red when the other is green, I also become your own question why eth does not tell other coins, eth price always goes down and rarely goes up. this is a big question

In the last 24 hours there was major sell pressure on ETHUSD.
Look up the chart for the day on Bitfinex and you will see a massive iceberg order which took all day to fill.
By some estimates it seems the order was of magnitude $150 million or so.
Maybe it's some ICO cashing out or some early early ETH adopters.

It is truly confusing why the price of ethereum is not growing. But lets wait and see. I believed that ethereum will be the best altcoins in the future.

Yeah you are right. Investors of crypto should keep calm and be patient because this is crypto world and anything can be possible. In this day almost all cryptocurrency prices are fluctuated and Ethereum is one of them. We should not take it serious if the price of Ethereum went down. it will grow more with the passage of time and profits will generate.
