Bitcoin traded for a long time in the range of $ 10,000, then the same amount at $ 8,000, and now a recession has begun which will probably lead us to the price of $ 6000.
The bounty almost does not generate income, you really need to try to earn something. I advise you to read the Meta thread there you will find a lot of interesting information about the innovations and policies of the forum.

You almost missed nothing. There is still a recession from the position of $ 20,000. Regulators are attacking cryptocurrencies from all sides.

a lot of changes when you go, which is seen right now the market is very bad all the prices of altcoin make new lows, in my opinion the new crypto environment is currently very bad
Most of the time good coins will survive the bad bearish trend so the coins which lost the value completely aare shit coins to be honest and nothing to be bothered about it,better try to hold the coins which are existing here for longer and the 2020 has got more expectations from the holders since the bitcoin halving is about to happen in near future,in the past instances which bring bullish trend on prices hope the same thing will happen again.

Even i have tokens from bounty before but now they have value, i blame myself for not selling them while there is time.
Never regret mate because this might be you can get lessons and understand when to sell and when to hold for the long term and one more thing, don't buy new altcoin because many of them throw away the ones that die

During 2018 bitcoin and altcoin prices have plummeted, until 2019 there has been no significant increase for bitcoin, even altcoin is very weak because of the long bearish. As you said a lot of altcoins don't have current value, maybe because they can't stand it. But there are still many altcoin survive. We'll see this year, maybe there are exceptions.

Nothing has changed for long particularly after the crypto market saw golden time in 2017 when bitcoin topped at $20000. But you have not mentioned your absence year and your comeback. What is changing is only time with no significant improvement in price of cryptocurrency. But there are always hopes.

I have been gone for so long due to my hectic schedule at the university, but since I have graduated already and I have taken my board exam I am now back here! Finally.

I have noticed how altcoins I own before depreciate so bad. I even have two or more kind which up to now have no value. Is the market tthat bad already? I mean, I can actually read threads here but ofcourse getting direct feedbacks from all of you who stayed all through out the time I was not around would be very helpful. Please help me learn about the new environment of cryptos now. Thanks.
dont be sad cause your not the only one who experience that. Most of the people thinks that holding will give them much bigger profit. Even i have tokens from bounty before but now they have value, i blame myself for not selling them while there is time.

The current crypto condition is better than the condition in 2018 and now for now it is possible if you hold a token a few years ago of course the current price is not good at all because some of the token cases that you hold may have passed the ATH and you lost the moment because so your busy life for now if you hold the capital back it is better to just save your old assets then you start at the current price with the same assets if it turns out that the asset has fallen very deep.

my advice for now, do not buy alt which is under the ranking of 50 for safe 100 for the short or medium term.
or you can invest in bitcoin then you can leave it for the long term as when you left this forum for a long time.
but if you will be active and see the market situation you will surely realize what coins you have to buy.

What happened to the altcoins resembles a bubble, just like the dot com boom of the 1999-00 or even the tulip mania of 1636-37. Unlike the case with Bitcoin, the alts went up by too much, without any solid reason. Bitcoin had practical usage, while altcoins had none. So obviously this was not sustainable and the prices crashed once the initial euphoria was over.

It depends on when you left cryptocurrency, if you left cryptocurrency from before 2017 I think you missed where the bull run took place and all coins became very profitable but if you leave cryptocurrency after 2018 I don't think there is anything interesting that you missed , because in my opinion from 2018 to 2019 cryptocurrency is not so profitable, especially for new projects that often fail and the price of some coins decreases.

We have to admit that the market is going bad. We can't make the right plan without accepting the facts. There may be further decline in this case. You need to manage the budget correctly. You need to reserve money to buy at lower prices.

I was gone for almost a year, wow. I just checked now. Did not notice how time flew that fast.

One year time in crypto is too long. Especially last one year. If it is appreciated lot, then you would be in good surprise. Unfortunately it depreciated quite a lot. We have to accept the fact.

Let me tell you my own story. I made the biggest gain from this market when Bitcoin dropped from $ 20,000 to $ 8,000. Bitcoin had fallen, but the chances of survival for the altcoins continued. The year 2018. Now there is complete destruction for the altcoins

This market moves so fast that being away for one year is the equivalent of being away for several years in other markets, if you had being holding bitcoin or other similar cryptocurrencies then you should be doing well since we saw an important recovery during the second quarter but most other coins have been doing badly, this is not surprising since there is no need to invest in such coins when bitcoin gave 3x during this year and many top altcoins gave something similar.
When I saw this market, I was already building the hate speech that I will give you until I saw that you were referring to bitcoin lol, because the only market that has fully been doing well is only that of bitcoin while altcoins are still very much stagnant, and stagnant is even still an understatement.

Most altcoins aside the top altcoins are seriously dying every day and it will take lots of energy for them to be revived again, so while he was gone, if he had invested in bitcoin as at that time during the bear market, I am sure he would have been back by now smiling because most of the investment in bitcoin that I did during that time he was away has really been a good one for me. I have made several profits within that space while the other altcoins are still struggling.
I was lucky then to not get that speech, but in all seriousness altcoins will have lots of problems to recover, it seems to me the trust that investors had in altcoins is lost and once that trust is lost there is not much to do, for a long time I have only invested in bitcoin and ethereum since I do not trust in any other coin, and while many may not like my strategy as it is too conservative it is also a great strategy since it saves me from all the losses I could get if I invested in unknown coins.

yes the crypto market 2 this year I think is in bad condition. since 2018 until now bitcoin and altcoin have continued to decline. pump a few percent then fall again. and also in 2018 there were only a lot of scams ICO and then in 2019 an alternative would appear to replace the ICO namely IEO. there are a number of successful IEOs, especially IEO who join large exchanges such as binance.
many hope that in the next year the crypto market conditions will change with the news that bitcoin is halving in 2020. hopefully with the reduction of the bitcoin block, the price of bitcoin will increase next year.

indeed, there have been quite a lot of developments in the past two years, from prices to investment methods in new projects. for those of you who are left behind the news you should be able to quickly adapt to current conditions, because it is very different from the year before there left

I don't think there's anything big that have happened in the industry for some months now. Even since the beginning of this, nothing much has happened in the industry. Many thought this year will be bullish but the reverse is the case. All I see is a stagnant market that is in the valley of indecision.
