I have been gone for so long due to my hectic schedule at the university, but since I have graduated already and I have taken my board exam I am now back here! Finally.

I have noticed how altcoins I own before depreciate so bad. I even have two or more kind which up to now have no value. Is the market tthat bad already? I mean, I can actually read threads here but ofcourse getting direct feedbacks from all of you who stayed all through out the time I was not around would be very helpful. Please help me learn about the new environment of cryptos now. Thanks.
I was inactive also for several months after 2018. I think still  you didn't catch up new forum rules and new IEO process ( IEO means initial exchange offer). Now investment in any projects more easy than ICO but all exchange has mandatory to submit KYC. About crypto market! You will get information from Coinmarketcap that BTC has 65% and rest of it altcoins.

I agree; however, It's hard to outsmart scammers, the only thing we can do is to avoid them. Even finding a good project, most of the time, it still ends up being a scam project.
How do you avoid it? Scammers are smarter and keep updating how to cheat new investors. One of the best ways is with detailed research and the most important thing is to read the whitepaper owned by the project, all will be revealed if you read their whitepaper, the whitepaper has been explained all. just how you determine that the project was genuine or just fraud.
I do not fully agree with what you say, because honestly, it will be very difficult for us to avoid a fraudulent project, of course, a scammer will design such a website, whitepaper and fake project roadmap as good as possible to support the fraudulent plans they make, even though we do research web, white paper etc but not 100% it will avoid us from a fraud,   in my opinion fraud usually starts from traders and investors who motivate themselves to get-rich-quick in a short time without using common sense, so that it will be easy to enter the trap of scammers. Many scammers take advantage of the greed of traders or investors with dubious ICO projects and product platforms.

I checked your profile and saw that you disappeared for 1 year. You disappeared after November 12, 2018, and returned on October 22, 2019, that's almost a year. The price of bitcoin at the time was still around $ 6200, and for ehtereum it was around $ 188. I concluded that for bitcoin, I think you should be quite happy to see the current price while for ethereum the price is not so far, so I think you are not so surprised because the price is quite close.

however, it is true that so many altcoin prices have dropped, even lost their prices. I am curious, what kind of coins do you hold. if it's outside of popular coins, you need to see developments in their telegrams. for now, the majority of altcoin conditions are not so good, but I think the recovery will occur in 2020 because of the potential of bitcoin halving, and ethereum 2.0. maybe the coins you hold will affect by the development of bitcoin and ethereum in 2020.

Those "two or more" kind of altcoins that you were holding and died were actually really shit coins that was destined to die. You were probably holding some altcoins that were useless and was dumped to death. Only coins that are considered shit coins becomes valueless.
You probably were here during back in late 2017s when the price of bitcoin started to skyrocket. Well, that rise didn't last for long and dropped down back to around 4k or something. Altcoins followed the same faith.

the current state of the cryptocurrency market is not the same as in 2017. All altcoin prices drop by up to 90% more and many projects continue to come along with scammers that make crypto increasingly shunned by investors. Even ICO which used to be very popular has now changed to IEO, but IEO is no guarantee that scammers will disappear. Scammers are smarter and take advantage of every opportunity available. Just waiting for the chance for bitcoin to go up, maybe in 2020 the market will improve and altcoin will start to recover.

Many people waited for nowhere but it doesn't mean we're certain all about 2020, because the situation kepts coming back and I can't see any good signs for altcoins to be outstanding in the next couple of months. As 2020 is nearly coming, the scenario was intensely surprising and yet it was so exciting to see how it work for many people who prefer to stay stronger in time even the circumstances went so unpredictable.

If you are gone for almost a year, then I suppose there is nothing very special about what is happening right now than a year ago. If there is a difference, it does not amount to much. Only we are a little bit higher in prices now compared to a year ago. The depreciation that you are talking about started to happen earlier than a year ago so it should not be a surprise to you anymore when you saw that the prices are low. In fact, Bitcoin was only around $6,000 a year ago and Ethereum was only around $160. We are much better now.

Much has changed, now altcoin almost do not grow in price. It makes sense to invest only in bitcoin is the most reliable option.

Our current situation we have right now can be considered good and bad at the same time.
The current price of every crypto in the market has finally shown improvement on their prices, the bad thing is scam projects are still there, and their current number is still increasing.

the current state of the cryptocurrency market is not the same as in 2017.
That's why we need to be smarter too in investing, if the scammers is improving in scamming, we investors or traders should be smarter in choosing the project, we should learn from those they scammed as well to think advance of the project ideas if it will for the long term, if the team is legit and the company is registered better if there is a develop product that is working already.
I agree; however, It's hard to outsmart scammers, the only thing we can do is to avoid them. Even finding a good project, most of the time, it still ends up being a scam project.

I think crypto world is still the same as before you had leave it temporarily. The only change is the price value of every coin and the opportunity to earn more and gained continues knowledge about crypto business like trading. You need to start to invest again like an empty glass that need to refill a cold water to absorb new tecniques and strategies to make your crypto business' flow good and smooth.

If want to see what happened to your token while you're not around. Then go and check the graph history of your coin immediately,  so that you can obtain specific information . Actually market still stagnant and struggling mate , wherein even now despite of some positive news ,speculation about the market, so for sure while your not around there's no progress as well on your token in my opinion.

First of all, I congratulate those of you who have graduated from university and returned to the world of crypto as far as I know, as long as you are not in this forum, the price of crypto has plummeted. the price is pretty good and it is suitable to re-invest because the price of bitcoin and altcoin has improved, and we hope to get satisfying results later.
and we will see what everyone expects, but the dates are not known yet. it is possible that this will happen this year, but 2020 will definitely be a very strong year for cryptocurrencies

Talking about cryptocurrency, only bitcoin has been experiencing good days since you left the crypto market. It has not gone down so much in price as compared to other coins. Price of bitcoin has decreased only by 50 percent when compared to the token peaked at $20000. But price of almost all coins has shed by around 90 percent. So I am thinking only bitcoin has a real use.
Though we can see an improvement in bitcoin price, it is still the same situation as the other crypto in the market. Its price becomes stable around 9k USD for now, compared to the previous price of every crypto in the market.
Every crypto in the market is still red. and nothing changes that much since last year.
As we compare its price from the first month of this year, we can see a lot of changes and we can say that the bitcoin price is slowly increasing on its value

Essentially the market has not returned to the moon like the end of 2017. But the market has not fully fallen, because since the fall of the market in 2018, now it has begun to recover, so it is not yet high. but this is very good, and a good time to start investing.

Yeah current market looks promising for the upcoming year, best time to invest but don't forget to set a stop loss because anything can happen in crypto.
The current market chart had similiarity with 2016 chart 1 year before the price pump, we hope the history will repeat and we have to ready for it
