I have been gone for so long due to my hectic schedule at the university, but since I have graduated already and I have taken my board exam I am now back here! Finally.

I have noticed how altcoins I own before depreciate so bad. I even have two or more kind which up to now have no value. Is the market tthat bad already? I mean, I can actually read threads here but ofcourse getting direct feedbacks from all of you who stayed all through out the time I was not around would be very helpful. Please help me learn about the new environment of cryptos now. Thanks.
Are you holding tokens or coins?
We are now at bear season all token and coins get dumped and token price is almost dead compare to which is started .
But some of the coin is recovering now.

I have both variety. I have sold some months ago without overanalyzing because I was in need of money. Although it may seem like a pretry bad decision for investors, I think my instincts were telling me to that time coz those aren't as valuable as before now.

Hey, welcome back brother and congratulations on graduating.

Thank you! I have a lot of catching up for sure. Some of those I am holding were very stagnant. They are not increasing. While some have value, they were very little as to what I expected. Well, really hoping for the best of my comeback.

you graduated! congrats! you missed a lot in a year.

we are in bear for too long. if nothing is heard from the developers of the token, normally the fud spread where in crypto is usual. and with just the post of someone here in the forum, you almost believe them all with a slight truth to it even just the ETF news. there are investors who took advantage of this bear and there are holders who also sold.

I have more than 5 altcoins that worth nothing and I have bought them all worth almost 1 bitcoin. The market was getting depressed due to the failed of BAKKT bitcoin to attract the investor.
This Time the ICO market already replaced by IEO market. The environment of crypto has already changed when you were still busy with your university. There was a lot of bad news, scam project and manipulated exchange site.

There is a lot of things have already changed in the crypto. You must aware as an investor if we must be careful in this market.
The market is not so bad already but it's also not so healthy because so many scammers are hurting the crypto space. The regulator is also putting its eyes to the crypto right now.

The golden time of crypto has already passed and the hype has gone already.

So much in this space happens within the week that i don't even know where to start from. In short, bear market continued and altcoins took it hardest. You can consider this bear market as an extension to your studies as in very expensive course that few took. Some of us needed to retake this course because we were lazy to pay attention last time.

The major reason why most of your holdings dipped is because  the market is in a bad state. Some coins actually soared in price only due to high, over time there has been no notable project development which is impressive with most projects. People mainly do pump and dump in a bit to make profit, and funny enough that's what many people take crypto to be.

The market is extremely bad right now after the euphoria in 2017, and basically there is no demand for altcoins and new projects.
many projects failed and forced to close their business in 2019 because nobody was willing to contribute to their project and lack of demand.
it could go worse than now because we have not cleared all of the existing altcoins, but there is hope for regulation in the next 2 years because of recent action from SEC.

The market is indeed in a bad state and not good for investment in crypto. There are only a few altcoins that have potential. The new crypto project has begun to collapse and there is no price. If you have altcoin that has no value at this time, I hope you hold it back first, everything can happen in the crypto world, from which there is no value to be very valuable. Hey, welcome back brother and congratulations on graduating.

Yes, it's a bearish season for crypto and altcoins have been hit pretty hard in the last year.  I'm curious to know what you were holding that made you realize this.  Some of the top alts haven't depreciated that much, but it's all relative.  Even the good ones have gone down in value along with bitcoin.

I am expecting the situation to improve, tho.  It's all a matter of choosing the right coin, and I think coins on the top 50 of coinmarketcap will rebound just fine.  Ones way lower on the list most likely won't.  Ever.

Most of the tokens went into vein due to their no development from the support team and most others went scam the remaining trapped.into bearish trend only few coins were capable of making overcame market and stand still for long time until now. What we need to do is let the shit coins fade and then support the remaining coins.
