Its very unlikely to happen in near future. They wont disappear, yes they may become worthless, but again its improbable.

When the people of this planet wake up to the Ponzi scheme that's been perpetrated upon them by the central banks for decades, they won't want US Dollars, Euros, or Yen. The people will demand digital currencies like Bitcoin.
The chances that bitcoin and its offshoots (altcoins) disappears and becomes worthless is zero. As you learn more about decentralized currencies, you will come to understand why this is true. If Bitcoin has to disappear it has to disappear all of our funds too, but this is impossible. We hold control of our coins. You could probably say that out of some catastrophic event the price of Bitcoin might fall a lot, but then it would always recover after a certain point in time.

If bitcoin is going to disappear I think I will just go for altcoins they have also some coins that can be more worth than bitcoin.
For now bitcoin is the best so I will still continue using it until it dies. It won't happen that soon so yeah.

I don't think the bitcoins will disappear. They may become of less value but not disappear as there is no point I can think that will make bitcoins disappear. Bitcoins are secure,reliable and fast to transfer.
If bitcoin disappear means plenty of bitcoin website are also disappear simultaneously. Added currency trading definitely face great loss.

another better coins = most likely bitcoin will get an upgrade, and will be the new better coin itself
value too low = most likely you have cheap coins again, but there would be problem with the network not being secure anymore
governments hindering the adoption = we have already seen that some governments are not against bitcoin, and anyway you can use bitcoin regardless
internal flaw = can always be corrected, people have forgotten the overflow incident that was discovered in 2010, also see bip50
