So I thoght this could be of help for some that also in search so they will also be inspired .. maybe they could also ad stuff arround here that could be of help!

Research it takes a few days/weeks so if u're in this fase take your time.

1.Forum search about the coin;
2.Join the telegram group and try to interact with the members;
3.Try to make a post on the forum and also see the crowd sentiment;
4.See some data on coinmarketcap.com , : https://icodrops.com/ , https://icorating.com/
5.Watch this tool from investing.com - find here the explination: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.29503403

Doing this can be of help to get a sense of a really good buy... at least this is what  I do.

What are your thoughts ? How do you do it??

Cheers!

yes of all you write this is true but there is still one less, you have not assess the team behind the project or ICO, because the team is an important part of the success of ICO. Team must be experienced or in accordance with its field.

Yes u're right, I added the Team research on the list, cheers!

I always have a look at their Website and how it is designed and if there are any nooby bugs. I also have a look at the social media accounts and at the activity of the team. Its also recommended to have a look at every team member via LinkedIn or something like this.

design can be bought with $$ .. it can be awsome outside but not so awsome inside.

it is important , definatly any detail, in fact, but not mandatory

This is definitely right. Investments should always go with the right amount of reading and researching. Another important note on the coinmarket is the trend of growth of the desired altcoin and also the team that supports that coins. You won't want to go have a seemingly good coin but is actually dead.

First is I usually read the whitepaper thoroughly. It's the only way to learn everything about the project of the company. That's the only time if I'm convince about everything or generally then that the time I would invest my money.

Some very good tips there you are sharing with Newbies, may I also add that investigating the Team and Advisory Board is also something I look into as well as checking the road map thoroughly and also what are the incentives give to token or coin holders to keep the token or coin as a long term strategy as I like to invest more as a long term kind of holder myself in general. I also may sometimes look for short term flips on rare occasions.  Smiley

You must first read the roadmap and look at the graph, the graph should be without pump and the trend should be ascending.

before you buy it you have to know the development of an altcoin, you can know it by reading in some forums that talk about it like telegram and other, you also have to see the exchange rate statistics, after you are sure then buy the coin you have selected

First we need to decide that the investment is going to be long term or short term then we have to choose the coins based on the amount of capital we have.The cheapest coin will give more profits but the chance of losing the investment with cheap coin is high so it comes with high risks.I always go with the coins which has been in the market for long period with the stable price this is good coin to invest on long term.

Main rule in altcoin trading is don't buy at peak price and never sell on dip being panic as well as don't go with hype over chat rooms in exchangers.
You should have to do a deep research for the coin in which you want to invest and have to wait for it for a few weeks to monitor its volume of trade on exchanges and its potential after that try to invest there.
Seek advice from experienced cryptocurrency investors.

Mb it will be strange. But a good fundamental analysis is unlikely to bring much benefit. If you do not expect to keep coins for many years.
Most coins buying(or selling) on the hype. Today significant price fluctuations are speculative.
