I don't think altcoins can survive without btc, so I think the price of btc will continue to affect the price of altcoins.
some examples have been seen when an altcoin is rising, then the btc price suddenly drops, the altcoin will also immediately fall.

100% agree with your opinion, because Bitcoin is an important player in cryptocurrency, so if the price of Bitcoin goes down, then the price of altcoin will also go down, especially if Bitcoin falls, then of course altcoin would not survive, therefore Bitcoin is called the king of cryptocurrency and of course it is true.

It looks total crabs that without btc altcoin has no value streaming on its own. I observed several occasions when btc experience downtime, it affects the rest of the altcoin and when it pumps altcoin experience likewise.  I classified bitcoin as 🚜 tractors that levels prices of altcoins. ETH is second world best crypto that occupied core ria marketcap in the crypto market but yet it cannot survive without btc.

That's mean alternatively, if btc falls flat altcoin will dies off. What their deep relationship? Why btc important to altcoin, what's the connection in between? Will altcoins really survive without btc?

all altcoins depend on bitcoin, even though during a bull run altcoin prices can go up thousands of percent while bitcoin is lower than that.
eventually
bitcoin is the determinant of the ups and downs in the crypto market.

Altcoins will survive if you are patient because indeed the impact of bearish is like now,
dumps occur in altcoins even though Bitcoin is the one being dumped,
therefore if you want to trade or invest in bitcoin it is best to check or analyze bitcoin prices for the future,
if not then you will lose if when trading you buy an altcoin then bitcoin dump.
Seeing your response, I think you probably didn't read the opening post, because if you did, you would know that the topic is about Bitcoin crashing to 0 and whether altcoins will be able to survive if that happens or not, but you say that if traders are patient, altcoins can survive and that is obviously not a statement about after the Bitcoin has crashed to 0 because in that case, I don't think that any patience or anything can stop altcoins from dumping.

Bitcoin is the main pillar of the whole cryptocurrency market, if it shatters, the whole market starts shaking and falling apart, so if there is no Bitcoin, I don't think that there will be any altcoin as well and the whole cryptocurrency ecosystem will just vanish from existence.

Altcoins can survive if the Bitcoin price is able to stay above $ 20k,
because if the Bitcoin price is below $ 20k I will get out of altcoins as soon as possible,
because the dump will be worse than this, moreover the bear market will cause panic selling,
and even whales will also sell that coin and buy again if crypto market stable.

Nobody questions why bitcoin is falling though? I mean if bitcoin drops, most of the alts drop as well we know that much, but lets assume a scenario in the future alts are doing so well that bitcoin is no longer first ranked. But, what happened? Why is it not? Alts being good helps bitcoin go higher so it shouldn't really drop, so for bitcoin to drop and alts go up, there must be something wrong with bitcoin alone and nothing wrong with others and I can't see that happening anytime soon.

It means if bitcoin drops then others drop as well. I know it is not going to be simple to realize that but bitcoin is the locomotive of this market and wherever it goes, the other ones are just following its footsteps to go to same direction as well.

Bitcoin is still very volatile today because this is the weekend, pump and dump will occur this week,
if you ask altcoins will survive and yes of course they will survive, but not all altcoins will survive,
but altcoins which do have fundamentals.

Some will be death forever, some other altcoin will suffer pretty bad but it eventualy will survive again. It happen many times during crypto winter. And dont forget, crypto winter is still be here untill 2024, buckle up and enjoy the ride. What comes up must goes down viceversa
Only altcoins that has been made as a scam coin that will be dead. Some bad coins still able to survive but it will be dumped so hard. People must aware if altcoins will able to die instantly.
There will always be some process before that will happen but if bitcoin die and everything gonna die too.

If fiat currency falls, nothing will happen to cryptocurrencies, if bitcoin falls, altcoins will suffer great injuries, some will die along because bthey may never have such opportunity to rise again, also if bitcoin should fall down completely, expect altcoins to have been in extinction, but i believe bitcoin will not die if if could sustain the rigorous experience over the fourteenth years of it existance, it has come to stay.

Even though if the price of bitcoin will worth a few dollars again and it will not change the fact that if some altcoins will still worth for money but it may be only a few cents. That reminds me with the situation in 2014 when altcoins meant nothing at that time.

Anything was worth small amounts of money compared to this time. Glad to see that bitcoin was able climbing up even higher.

but not all altcoin will survive and only a good altcoin will survive in that situation, therefore it is indeed the safest to invest in Bitcoin for long term investment, but if you really want to invest in altcoin, then it is better 20-30% of our total portfolio is invested in altcoin and 70-80% in Bitcoin, because investing in altcoin is riskier than investing in Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is the backborn of all crypto and token as direct relationship with price of btc and its standard value of alt-coin prices we seen improvement and for any gold coins and Altcoins will start dumping with high rate. There are only some coins which are undependable with btc such as gold back up coins or other assets coins.

At the moment, bitcoin is the most promoted of the cryptocurrencies. Most people only know bitcoin. However, the more people come into the cryptocurrency world, the more they learn about altcoins. The information that someone invested $50 in some altcoin and earned, for example, $1,000 also plays a significant role here. As a result, more and more attention is being paid to altcoins.
Bitcoin might be the most promoted or believed cryptocurrency but those who know about Bitcoin also know about altcoins, so that doesn't actually make them vulnerable to crashes. When Bitcoin's price drops, altcoins drop as well, why? Because people panic that they will crash badly and they start selling all their assets so that they don't need to face a lot of losses.

Altcoins are weak, and that is because people have more belief in Bitcoin and that is because Bitcoin has proved it in the past, whenever its price drops significantly, it eventually recovers, but when that happens to an altcoin, they hardly manage to gain any value back.

With these thousand of crap projects, we can't expect them to survive but a huge possibility that they will die.
Only those projects that play an important role in the market will survive and the others are just what we called, passing projects - they come in a short period of time and then just vanish. That is why we should have to take caution on the projects that we hold because not all of the cryptocurrencies that exist will ever grow.

Yeah I also feel it to with those tons of crap projects. Back in 2021 when the bitcoin want to reach its new All time high there is dozen of projects who seeking VC for funding. also there is ICO/IEO/IDO whatever you call it pop up and say it will give return thousand percentage and I would say some of it true but some of it is bullshit. it took me couple of thousand $ and all the project now is puff dead.

what staying is the experience not to all in in those shitty project again

that's only if things goes well, there are so many altcoins out there that selecting may be hard, so there is also chance of losing even higher than earning, but it can't be denied that altcoin investment sometime are just too good to be missed out honestly.

Bitcoin is backbone of all crypto and every token has direct relationship with price of btc. as long as BTC will remain stable we will se improvement in the price of Altcoins but for any reason if btc falls flat, the Altcoins will start dumping with high rate. that's why if we want to buy altcoins, make sure we also analyze Bitcoin first, because if it dumps, the altcoins will also be dumped,
and that's an opportunity for us to buy altcoins at cheap prices like now, because the price of Bitcoin has actually fallen by -60% altcoins were also hit,
but it was a good opportunity to buy before the bullrun.

Some will survive and some dont you can look at the coingecko or coinmarketcap website the dying altcoin is everywhere especially for project who not ready yet or don't have purposes and the downturn is crazy scary it can more than 100% from their ATH and and don't comeback.
