It looks total crabs that without btc altcoin has no value streaming on its own. I observed several occasions when btc experience downtime, it affects the rest of the altcoin and when it pumps altcoin experience likewise.  I classified bitcoin as 🚜 tractors that levels prices of altcoins. ETH is second world best crypto that occupied core ria marketcap in the crypto market but yet it cannot survive without btc.

That's mean alternatively, if btc falls flat altcoin will dies off. What their deep relationship? Why btc important to altcoin, what's the connection in between? Will altcoins really survive without btc?
Every time a price drop comes it always comes after a crisis comes and many projects stop their activities because the project simply does not have enough money for development and investors do not want to sponsor because their assets are also at risk.To some extent, this is even good since the market is cleared after each cycle.

It's simple because in general Bitcoin is the only benchmark where when speculation on the price of Bitcoin drops automatically the price of altcoins will follow because the focus of large investors is Bitcoin and is the only root of the growth and death of altcoins. ETH may be the best altcoin but investors do are still looking to profit by selling altcoins to collect more Bitcoins. Altcoins are exactly what their name suggests, alt which is only an alternative.

Bitcoin took the lead and ushered in the blockchain era. bitcoin has always been at the top but it is altcoins (specifically ETH) that really give a boost to greater readiness and adoption in the crypto space. To my mind bitcoin and altcoins are closely correlated, it makes for diversity. Much of the altcoin's price movement follows bitcoin's trend but not absolute or in some cases vice versa. I think the relationship of bitcoin and altcoin is inseparable in value, bitcoin falling and altcoin falling is normal and it has nothing to do with the meaning of existence or not! I think that's what is unique and interesting about crypto.

Honestly, if we could really be presuming that they are really that independent or the demand would really be separated then those top altcoins could really go opposite on where
Bitcoin would be heading. It is really just that the confidence where it is really that mainly be affected on which it is really dragging the entire market down whenever bitcoin do have a bearish
movement which it isnt really that something new anymore. This is why it is really called the King or Father of all crypto for nothing. It would really be bringing out that
kind of impression on whatever movement that it would make which would affecting the entire crypto market or space.

Says who that altcoins has no value without BTC? I think altcoins will thrive even Bitcoin fails though I ain't see a thing right now that it will fail. The connection in between is that altcoins mimic Bitcoin to experiment if they are much better than the King of cryptocurrency.

Again, look at crypto market cap of Ethereum, it's just below Bitcoin and  with that market cap, it can survive even if Bitcoin fails.
A lot of people are saying this because this is how they observed alts when BTC drops. It was the price of the alts that only drops but it does not totally mean that altcoins have now no value because value can still be measured in other things. It can be on how useful these altcoins are.

In fact, there are some altcoins who can be able to recover last time while BTC is still in dumped position. They can still get a demand because there are people who are using these alts for certain purposes not just for investing or trading. We saw a drop in Bitcoins value these past days but later this day, it is showing a signs of recovery again. This is great and altcoin supporters will not worry anymore.

Days like this remind me of the time Altcoiners used to get carried away in the bull market and start shouting flipping, the design of Bitcoin is well thought of by the King Satoshi and Bitcoin is the most liquid market in the space, so if the liquidity reduces, it affects all the market that is why you see BTC drops 1% and Altcoin dumps 5% at times because there is no liquidity to back them up. I just hope this current bleeding stops and there is life back in the market, the reason being that everyone suffers at the end of the day
That is the funniest thing. During the bull market nothing gets close to bitcoin and yet they talk about flip and they think that bitcoin could ever be not the first place, which is idiotic because it will always be first place if this is the competition. I have never seen any project in the world that was even remotely close to being as good as bitcoin, and I doubt that we will ever see it because of the greed of creators.

However, when the bear comes they realize how wrong they were and stop comparing their projects to bitcoin. You will see, during the next bull run in a couple years, we will see some projects get hyped enough to talk about being bigger than ETH or BTC, which they will never be.

Anything can't survive without bitcoin but since there are also stable token in the market and i think opposite thing gonna happen even if bitcoin was disappearing. Altcoins used bitcoin to determine its price in the past but it's now different. Some coins were using stable tokens to determine the price of altcoins. Im not sure if altcoin will have no value if bitcoin was disappearing from the market.

I don't think so. Some altcoins will able to keep its position. The important thing of bitcoin is being used as the main pair for any of altcoins. People saw bitcoin as major coin that is likely to be in the same position as dollar.

The majority of cryptocurrencies are tied up with Bitcoin in one way or another. For sure if you are saying crypto, then you can automatically assume that it's connected to Bitcoin since it's the first one and pairs are definitely paired with it and that's how altcoins are being affected once significant price changes happen like today.

Just look at the market and you will see how deep BTC is in every cryptocurrency.

I don't think altcoins can survive without btc, so I think the price of btc will continue to affect the price of altcoins.
some examples have been seen when an altcoin is rising, then the btc price suddenly drops, the altcoin will also immediately fall.

You're wrong.  Maybe you could be right at the time when Ethereum was just starting out.  But now?  Ethereum def doesn't need BTC to exist to survive.  Do you know how much in fees Ethereum generates on a daily basis?  I'd imagine it's more than double than what BTC generates.  And it's the most used blockchain in crypto right now, BTC not so much.  I don't think I have to check onchain activity to confirm it.

ETH is where it's gonna be all at bud, even with the technical inferiorities.

The altcoin market is rapidly evolving, and it is likely that some of these digital currencies will eventually be able to stand on their own without depending on Bitcoin to determine their price actions.

While Bitcoin was the first fully developed cryptocurrency and currently serves as the dominant coin, much like the US dollar, individuals often hedge their tokens and altcoins against Bitcoin when they perceive a risk in holding onto a particular altcoin. This practice can result in the value of these tokens dropping when Bitcoin declines and appreciating when Bitcoin rises.
