In my opinion, Altcoin will not survive without the presence of Bitcoin. In addition to the fact that Bitcoin is the mother coin of all cryptocurrencies, there are other factors in the market that make Bitcoin the number one influencer in the market.

The first factor is trust, without bitcoin there is no trust in the market, investors do not have confidence in altcoin yet.
The other important factor is the dominance of Bitcoin in the market, which automatically makes all altcoins linked to it.

This means that if bitcoin falls, all altcoins will fall with it.

Aways, but the question should be, which altcoins will die in the next bear market? hard to know
Well, it's not that hard to know, all you need to do is take a project and evaluate it from top to bottom, start from their website, read the whitepaper, check their docs and resources, their social engagement rates, the interactions of the public with them or about them, and the influence and interest of other big names or projects if there is any.

Once you are done with that, you will pretty clearly see if the project has got any potential or if it is just empty from the inside and is only here for a short while. Now do that with every project that you want to know if will exist in the future or not.

Well i don't know if others have already answered this but I termed it to be the first digital currency that was launched before any other altcoin and it has the ability to control the market and every other altcoin follows its direction.
So, its hard to see that they are being detached from bitcoin price movement to go against the originator, otherwise, in some cases most altcoin go against the price which in cmc you would found out we have the gainers and losers' coin, the loser's go against bitcoin price while the gainer's act directly with bitcoin price, so in other words we can say the falling of bitcoin price is the rising of those altcoin price.

It looks total crabs that without btc altcoin has no value streaming on its own. I observed several occasions when btc experience downtime, it affects the rest of the altcoin and when it pumps altcoin experience likewise.  I classified bitcoin as 🚜 tractors that levels prices of altcoins. ETH is second world best crypto that occupied core ria marketcap in the crypto market but yet it cannot survive without btc.

That's mean alternatively, if btc falls flat altcoin will dies off. What their deep relationship? Why btc important to altcoin, what's the connection in between? Will altcoins really survive without btc?

altcoins really survive without BTC I don't think so because one of the factors altcoins can go up it could be BTC why is BTC so important for altcoins? because BTC is the king of cryptocurrency I can't imagine if BTC is destroyed what will happen to altcoins.

considering the fact that many big management funds are always prioritising btc, once bitcoin reached all time low they'd instantly convert their altcoin investment into btc in which triggers individuals to also do the same since the value of the altcoin more likely decreasing overtime. I'd say bitcoin is the center of it all and will always have great influence towards the general coins in existence.

That's mean alternatively, if btc falls flat altcoin will dies off. What their deep relationship? Why btc important to altcoin, what's the connection in between? Will altcoins really survive without btc?
Because what I've seen from this market unfold is completely different from what you're seeing. Today we can clearly see the relationship of bitcoin and altcoins, the dependence on Bitcoin because Bitcoin is the first digital currency and has the largest share in the digital currency market. The influence of Bitcoin on altcoins is generally quite large, so every time Bitcoin rises or falls in price, altcoins will also affect it. Altcoins compete with Bitcoin in attracting investors and increasing value. Many altcoins try to improve and develop new features than Bitcoin in order to attract investors.
Investors know very well that bitcoin price movements greatly affect altcoin price movements, so they will definitely do the same thing when bitcoin experiences a downtrend, so altcoins will also feel the same way. Conversely, when they see a reversal of the bitcoin downtrend, they will use altcoins as an option other than bitcoin.
When bitcoin is in a bear market, we should not be surprised to see that altcoins do not survive because indeed bitcoin is the mother (so to speak) of all altcoins.

if the bitcoin fall maybe altcoins will also fall not an instant fall but i believe that it will also fall slowly, without bitcoin crypto market is nothing, look at the past or the history of btc when it is in bear market, almost all new and old altcoins are affected most of them follow btc when it fall no altcoins rise during bear market how much more when there is no bitcoin.

You must know that Bitcoin is like the mother of all crypto coins. Every crypto coin has been paired with Bitcoin in crypto market (exchanges). You can imagine what will happen with all crypto coins if Bitcoin suddenly disappears!! It must bring a very big impact on the whole crypto market. But to claim all crypto coins to die if there is no Bitcoin seems not really correct. There should be a chance for altcoins to survive although they may lose big values due to the lack of trust from all crypto investors if Bitcoin falls.

what do you mean by "Falls Flat"? bitcoin? then what would be the future of this market if bitcoin already showed that low? sad that you are still having hopes in altcoin while you are projecting bitcoin to be falling flat.
bitcoin and atcoins are together to move, if bitcoin dies then altcoin will die as well.

I suppose that what he means by that is what will happen to this market if bitcoin reaches a value of zero and disappear? And the answer to that is easy, the majority of the altcoins will disappear as well as they are based on the technology of bitcoin, and such a huge crash can only be the result of some kind of fatal technical flaw that is impossible to fix, which means that altcoins will not survive either, still the chances of such a scenario happening are very low.

In my opinion, altcoin will not survive if Bitcoin is destroyed, because Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency, so whatever happens in cryptocurrncy depends on Bitcoin, therefore if the price of Bitcoin increase, then the price of altcoin will also increase and if the price of Bitcoin decrease, then the price of Bitcoin will also decrease, because the main pioneer of cryptocurrency is Bitcoin.

Yes, Bitcoin altcoins have a deep relationship with each other. BTC is considered the first cryptocurrency, and as such it has become the standard for the entire crypto market. When the price of BTC rises, the price of altcoins usually goes up as well. Similarly, when the price of BTC falls, the price of altcoins also falls. However, altcoins are not entirely dependent on BTC. Altcoins can exist and have their own value without BTC. For example, Ethereum (ETH) is one of the most popular altcoins and has a large market cap, and it does not depend entirely on the price of BTC. However, there is still a strong relationship between BTC and altcoins, and the price of altcoins is often influenced by the price of BTC. But the problem is here as I see this market, the skeptics and supporters always appear at the same time and it creates a volatile price environment, so overall this market is still too small. and great opportunity for those who know early.

If bitcoin falls, altcoins will also fall. I don't know if any altcoin can survive if bitcoin falls hard because it will affect market conditions. The crypto market will panic and people will try to save their money by selling their assets as soon as possible before things worsen. The top position in the crypto market is held by bitcoin so if bitcoin falls, it will affect it. And we don't know if there is an altcoin that can replace bitcoin to be at the top or if all crypto projects will disappear. We can only hope that it will not happen in the future.
I think the only altcoin that will survive are the strongest ones and they can be ETH and BNB but the rest of them can go along with BTC because they have a weak fundamentals. Bitcoin can fall but not into a greater extent so I don't think people will panic.

If ever there are, they are only the starters but they will regret it eventually and will try to re-buy what they have sold. Selling to save an asset might be a good idea to do if we are talking about coins with shady reputation. Some stable coins can also depeg but it happens even if BTC is not collapsing so people must also take caution with it or better if they don't put much money on them.
I also think so because ETH and BNB are still strong and can increase higher than before. But the current condition may be more severe than in previous years or still not so severe.

Selling to save assets when the market goes down is not a good way out because we still lose. It would be better for us to try to survive the down market because we will get the chance to see the market recover. And when the market recovers, the prices of these strong altcoins can start to increase. But those are for really strong altcoins.

The answer to this is many reasons but I think the crypto market is as valuable as it is today thanks to BTC, because BTC started the blockchain 1.0 phase.
Over time we see more and more projects exploiting the benefits and drawbacks of BTC, but they are unable to dislodge BTC from the market. And this relationship is even more evident in recent years when the source of money entering the market is always pushing BTC up and then Altcoins.

In fact, if you learn this problem from the most basic things from this market, you will visualize it more easily. You know how the crypto market started, it's not natural that we see thousands of cryptos in the current market.
And btc represents the beginning of the world, or in other words blockchain 1.0. Over time users encountered some network scaling problems, and then developers appeared to see a great opportunity from the field to build up a market of many different sectors. And the bottom line is that now you can buy any crypto you want, but you won't be a market in which there are many institutional investors, speculators, etc. The relationship between BTC/alt is stronger, and when many people see that the btc halving event is the source of market growth, they return to invest in btc, and then invest in alt to strengthen more. listings in the market.

Completely wrong , you can assume that way back at least 5 or 7 years ago mate when altcoin seemingly following Bitcoin all time.
but nowadays? as Ethereum grows high and many altcoin has their stands also? then we are not sure if altcoins(at least some of them) will all die if bitcoin falls flat.
but for me? there will be altcoin that stands against all and will manage to continue the legacy of cryptocurrency once bitcoin turns out.
