It is important that a birthday gift given to the celebrant be appreciated. In order for Bitcoin to be appreciated as gift for a newbie in crypto, then it is important to educate the celebrant early. You have to start early to enlighten her so that she will have basic knowledge of Bitcoin and  be able to understand that it is also money. Let her know that it can be traded to real money and grows with time in value. With basic knowledge, I think she will appreciated it. It is just like paying money into ones account, but this time, the interest will surpass that obtainable in the conventional banks.

Smiles, anyways I do not intend to in any way condemn the act but gifts of this nature are not something that should be gifted to just anyone. Personally, I know and believe that there are lots of gifts out there that you can give to a lady, what if she doesn’t understand or know the value of what you have given to her and probably for the sake of love, you could give her a large quantity of Bitcoin, and it may turn out to be a waste if she does not know what to do with it or at most, ladies as we know would rather be unappreciative of the gift not knowing the value.

So, I would not advice anyone to gift a lady Bitcoin, get her fancy things instead after selling the Bitcoin, believe me, she will appreciate that more than that sacrifice you’re about to make.

That's good and nice innovative idea .Although girls prefer jewelry and other items as gifts,But I welcome this step to make everyone aware  about Bitcoin. Next Eid like yours I will give my wife bitcoin as Eidie(Gift)and let her know about it, although I have already told her a lot about Bitcoin and blockchain network.
Yes girls can like jewelries and material things but sometimes we need to put it to them that investment is paramount to this era that we are. Inflation every and the price of good and services are increasing everyday which is the main reason why investment should be considered first that all these materials things that women likes.
Not all girls like jewelry just for the "bling bling" effect. This is a double purpose, as it is also used to collateralize or sell it in the future when the price goes high. Girls nowadays are getting practical because they need to earn money while enjoying things. Also, to OP, it is a good start to give Bitcoin to her and I am sure she will be really interested in it.

A curious gift from you and without a doubt very original, but the problem is if they know what Bitcoin is... I say this because once I spoke to a friend about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and even trading, but her response was What is it? ? Bitcoin? my thought was that in these times where practically everything is digital, anyone would have at least a little knowledge of what currency is... but apparently not. That's why even when you say that giving away Bitcoin is something very precious, it's true, but my advice is that if they don't know anything about Bitcoin, you explain to them little by little how everything works.
I actually tried this crazy thing that was last year, I initially introduced her into Cryptocurrency, she is acting a very smart girl, so I felt she would catch up in time and understand a few of the underlying basics, so during her graduation party from school, I sent her a good amount of Bitcoin as paper wallet, for two days, this girl did not call me, when I called to ask what the problem was, she slammed me on phone, saying I was not caring, and that I didn’t even send her any congratulations gift for her graduation.

I was flabbergasted and frustrated as well, knowing so well that I sent that, but the problem was that she never really valued that or what? … No one should try this please Roll Eyes Tongue.

I have been considering Bitcoin as a very good option for making a profit for quite some time now. I think that everyone can be convinced of this and get the desired result.
Did you know that some people does not know about cryptocurrency and knowing about it is different from some body that does not know the strategic point of it. According op of gifting someone gift of cryptocurrency why it does not know the value, it is going to be better of giving the person what's reliable and what is good enough than gift of what you don't know even though it appreciates, you can be convinced of bitcoin when you have the idea

It all depends on the woman… It should be noted that gifts for a lady are usually things that they like, such as makeup, jewelry, clothing, among others. I think that a BTC Transfer would not be a bad idea, since it is an asset (money in a nutshell) and through this they can do whatever they want with it, we as experts on the subject could reach out to them by explaining how they work, how invest it, when to get more or simply how to withdraw it to make use of it. Without forgetting that it is a gift… it is in her hands what he will use it for.
When it comes to giving bitcoin as a gift everything will depend on the perspective that each person has, if the person in question would appreciate such a gift as they are interested in the technology then bitcoin would be a good gift, but if you do not see those kind of tendencies then it is better to give them something different as most likely they would not like bitcoin as a gift, and even if the person was interested in bitcoin it could not be the right gift for everyone, after all at the end bitcoin is money and some may not appreciate the fact that you are just handing them money instead of going through the trouble of looking for something they may actually like.

The world is revolving really faster and everything is becoming digital everytime I open my eyes. The way we do things last 5 to 10 years is becoming completely different to this recent time. We are in the era of digital currency where Bitcoin is having a great influence on our lives.

I have a sister and a female friend that will be celebrating their birthday soon and I'm thinking of getting them something unimaginable. Since their is not as much adoption of Bitcoin from women, I thought of giving my sister and a friend Bitcoin as birthday gifts. Although i know it might sounds odd or uncommon to us but I think this will help them a lot and the awareness of Bitcoin because they will end up telling their friends and the friends telling more friends.

All women want to be loved more on their birthdays receiving precious gifts from love ones. Bitcoin is more precious to me than mere gifts that will end up not appreciating in values. How are you going to feel if you receive something that could improve yyour financial life as a birthday? Holding this asset(Bitcoin) for few year from now can become a game changer for her when other gifts might have lost value.

Why I choose Bitcoin over other gifts

- Bitcoin can appreciate more in value with time.
- It is secure and private.
- It is fast and easy to transact.
- Can be a great asset that can change her financial status.

How I planned to do it

- I will educate them on what Bitcoin, Blockchain, wallet and other necessary things.
- Guide on how to create a crypto wallet by themselves.
- Get their Bitcoin wallet addresses.
- Send them affordable Bitcoin on their birthday.
- Contineous briefing on safety, and what cryptocurrency is all about.

I am looking forward to better ways to do this.
 Thanks!

Honestly I think this would be a pretty cool gift.  So much crap you get gift wise is stuff that you don't like/wont ever use/end up in a junk pile before long.  Depending on how much you plan on gifting maybe you should gift them the bitcoin is a hardware wallet like Trezor or Ledger.  This way they've got a safe /cold storage wallet already set up and ready to go. Or you could do something really cool and buy them a cool cold storage coin wallet form the collectibles section, like a Satori chip loaded with .001 btc.

In this context maybe it will be more about how we see who we will give gifts to. now the attraction of bitcoin is increasing and of course this is good enough for Bitcoin but it doesn't mean everyone wants Bitcoin.
We also have to see who will give us a gift because when we give bitcoins to bitcoin lovers of course this will be very memorable but on the other hand when we give bitcoins to someone who doesn't like it then what happens after will definitely be different

Actually, you yourself know what they need.
If you think that they will love this, it is no problem. \But, are you sure that they love crypto? If they don't I think this will be nonsense. Except that they also love the crypto world.
As I do agree with some steps that you take by teaching them and letting them understand cryptocurrency.
But it is also their right if they want to sell the Bitcoin once they got it. haha

you are definitely correct female prefer jewelry but i believe if you educate them about bitcoin they will definitely prefer bitcoin, if she can hold the bitcoin she is abut to receive i believe she can sell part of the bitcoin in the future and still hold the remaining one. i believe is high time we start educating our females on how to make money from bitcoin and everything shouldn't be about jewelry and clothes. i believe your wife will really appreciate the bitcoin you are about to gift her. just make sure you educate her about wallet security so that she wont end up losing the  bitcoin.

I would agree that women would love tor receive precious gifts like jewelries or maybe even a car...but there can be something more special if you give them Bitcoin. Not only will they start to get educated on the potential game-changing features of this coin but they can be building on something that we project can be more valuable into the future. I am then 100% supporting your intent and your desire to spread more awareness for Bitcoin in particular and cryptocurrency in general. How lucky are those women who can get something really valuable from you. So go for it and make things happen.

Start gifting cars to women and expect to become a lot poorer very fast Cheesy

Jokes aside, if a woman is happy from any gift you give her and appreciates any effort, she's a keeper. Try giving her some BTC and if she does some research and learns to use a wallet and manages to send a transaction and buy herself something nice, she's a treasure. Even better if she doesn't spend it all and keeps some as an investment.

Even when you think this gift is nothing interesting for a girl, try it out just to see how she responds.

Well, you are absolutely right, and in a non-joking sense, women are actually very few who are interested in technology and learn about BTC, just imagine that you give a BTC to your girlfriend, and that she then do not give it the pertinent importance? that she even takes it as something normal? me in you, I prefer to take her out for coffee, to share with her, and if you want to give her BTC make sure she knows what she is talking about, or at least knows the scope of BTC, it would be a shame if you give her BTC and she lose the data.

This is like giving her $100 and having her just throw it away. I never encounter any kind of woman that is throwing money around because they are not into technology, unless they are so rich that they really don't need $100. The point was whether or not you were interested in bitcoin; if we're talking about money, I'm sure they'll be interested in how to make more of it or withdraw it. I don't see any reason for women to do this right now, especially since BTC is becoming well-known, and I'm sure she is aware of it.
Yes, in part the culture of women likes money a lot, but sometimes it is easier for them to have it if they get a man who provides them with everything, as happens in most cases, I must say that I in the When I was conquering my wife, I talked to her about BTC, and at one point I gave her 2mBTC, I told her to keep it that over time she would have a lot of money, and so far she has, but I really tell her that he join the forum, that he learn about technology, not only about BTC but about blockchain, about cryptocurrencies in general, but that is very difficult, he says that he does not have time, but he does have time to see instagram and other things , then I conclude that most women are not so interested in getting money, but they need it, it is somewhat contradictory but women are a mystery that we have very difficult to decipher.

It's always nice to receive gifts from others, so i would be very happy and enthusiastic about receiving bitcoin as a gift (maybe because I'm already a bitcoin adopter), although I also like when people give me a physical product, instead of money. So I know they have taken their time to search something I would like to have and receive in a special day. In the case of someone who isn't familiar with bitcoin, I think you need to create a bitcoin wallet yourself and give your friend and sister access to the respective wallets later, once they have understood how it works and how they can move satoshis between addresses.

But keep in mind they might develop interest for it or not. So in negative case, you will have to elaborate a solution on what to do with these satoshis.

For women, precious friends or younger siblings, I think offering someone's first satoshis as a gift and being willing to help - whoever it is - is a great gift.

There are some psychological theories that deal with '''the types/ways'' of showing love and it would undoubtedly be one of them.

A few years ago, I gave my brother some satoshis inside a Rubik's Cube, to encourage him to learn about investing from a young age and have an intellectual stimulus associated with this gift.

- Send them affordable Bitcoin on their birthday.

Give them bitcoin as a gift, but not on birthdays and valentines days and Christmas and stuff. A gift(especially for these special days I've mentioned) are mostly something to make them happy; not an opportunity for you to shove down your interests to them regardless if you have good intentions.
If you are frequently giving bitcoin in every occasion, looks like you're earning just to please them or make them happy, and certainly not a good mindset for a smart investor. At the end of the day, you'll end up being broken. However, i understand OP that the goal is to create faster adoption of bitcoin. But this can done in other ways, by not being so generous in bitcoin giving because as what you said, only bitcoin appreciates its value for now, the rest are totally depreciating, so better save it first for your own future.

The lucky people who accept Bitcoin as a gift, of course that's everyone's wish. Managing Bitcoins that are owned will affect the profits that will be obtained in the future, therefore we must be able to manage them well. as you said that you will gift Bitcoin to your closest people who in fact they are not too familiar with the world of Bitcoin, so you intend to educate them well. A good thing, that way she can manage it so that it can be useful in the future. give her a good understanding and learning so she can practice struggling with this ups and downs in the crypto world.

Do you think they will be happy to have Bitcoin gifts? If they seem to be happy, then yes doing it. But if they seem to be confused and not really happy because they don't expect to get the gifts, better to not give the Bitcoin as birthday gifts. Don't forget that not all people are interested to have Bitcoin, especially those people who only have the perception (fiat-based). Just avoid something probably destroying a special day of someone.

In my opinion, Bitcoin isn't a proper gift for someone who doesn't know crypto/Bitcoin well. Just educate them about crypto/Bitcoin first and let them familiar with it, before giving them a BTC gift.

We know that bitcoin is a really nice gift to a person but it depends on how they will use this kind of coin, to the people does not know how the bitcoin works, it's quite hard to understand to them how to manage and deal with it, but now with the use of the internet, we know the bitcoin is very on the top of the trend because of the value of it and of course, there's a chance they hold or sell this immediately because it has a value.  Holding is the key this kind of give is quite expensive but worth it to give.
With the existence of more user friendly applications using the bitcoin is very easy. If an user have received bitcoin as gift and wants to sell, there are more tutorials that help with the same. However holding is the key, because the gift becomes more valuable with time. These days this is getting to be common practice to gift in the form of bitcoin, as more and more people have known about it in recent years.
