Not everyone appreciates bitcoin as a gift, especially people who have not learned what is cryptocurrency.
Actually, you can still give a gift ( the usual one), and bitcoin at the same time, that way, she'll be curious about bitcoin and will be happy with the gifts.

if people do not understand what is bitcoin, they would also not see its potential.
Therefore basic knowledge is very important.

teaching someone everything about bitcoin can be too much for some
many people do not know or care about "swift" or mysql databases in regards to fiat.. all they care about is where can they find the bank account number/mastercard number to buy something..

so with bitcoin teach them the very basics.. by this i mean dont overwhelm them with definitions of blockchains and how peers relay and confirm transactions decentrally. just teach them how to use a QR code how to back up a wallet incase phone/app is damaged. and where to spend said coins locally

if after the basic lesson on using it to store value/buy things. if they really want to know WHY it works technically.. they will ask

the more important thing is, are there even places locally to the topic creators location that actually accept bitcoin to buy things.

-snip-

How I planned to do it

- I will educate them on what Bitcoin, Blockchain, wallet and other necessary things.
- Guide on how to create a crypto wallet by themselves.
- Get their Bitcoin wallet addresses.
- Send them affordable Bitcoin on their birthday.
- Contineous briefing on safety, and what cryptocurrency is all about.

I am looking forward to better ways to do this.
 Thanks!

in fact, it is the most wonderful gift for the present and the future. You don't just give him bitcoins as a gift, based on what you plan to do, you teach him how to get to know blockchain and all that stuff. it does not rule out the possibility in the future for him to develop it, and try to produce it himself. Some people have told me "you can feed someone, but it's only for 1 day, but if you teach them how to find and make food, then you are feeding them for life". Well, based on what I've seen, you give him a gift and teach him how to proceed, that could encourage him to generate his own assets in the future.

I did something similar a while ago with my brother....

I gave him a Paper Wallet with some bitcoin on it and a note explaining how to create a wallet and how to import the Private Key etc.. etc. I thought this would be a great way for him to also get into Crypto currencies.

Well, he figured out how to import the Private key and he also figured out how to convert his Bitcoin into Fiat currencies... and that was the last time he dealt with it. (You cannot force the issue.. just educate them and hope for the best)  Roll Eyes

I have a sister and a female friend that will be celebrating their birthday soon and I'm thinking of getting them something unimaginable. Since their is not as much adoption of Bitcoin from women, I thought of giving my sister and a friend Bitcoin as birthday gifts.

I support your creative idea, most time women do appreciate the uniqueness in giving them what is not common as a surprise gift, am rest assured they will appreciate it, because after they find interest in learning about bitcoin and later acquire the knowledge and do well in bitcoin to realise what you once gave them is that which brings them to their current position in crypto achievements, believe me you will never be forgotten in their life, unlike buying them food  or mere items that they soon fade away and they forget about.

women want quick and practical things, in this particular case about bitcoin, it will be better that you only offer bitcoin if in your country (your city) there is some bitcoin ATM nearby or one or you have bitcoin debit card so that she can spend bitcoin soon . don't keep forcing your friends or wife to have bitcoin to make a profit, they want money, something they can spend so give them bitcoin only if you know they can spend it soon
Very apt and honest. This is what I have been trying to make Op understand, despite the fact that he asked for opinion, when I started giving my opinion, he choosed the path of argument.

Bitcoin transaction is not an easy one for someone that knows nothing about Bitcoin. Nothing about Bitcoin is easy to learn.

Quote
Answer me, did you even learn how to send/receive fiat?
This is out of context
It is not out of context, you are the one deliberately throwing it off context. Let me outline how came about the question.

You alleged that bitcoin transaction is easy for someone that knows nothing about Bitcoin.
I told you that bitcoin transaction is not in anyway easy for beginners, in order to prove that it wasn't easy, I asked you to share with me your first bitcoin transaction so that we could see how easy it was with you.
Instead of you to share your experience, you went off context by rhetorically asking if it took me 100years to learn how to perform bitcoin transaction.
Then, I now asked if you even learnt how to make fiat transaction?
Because bitcoin easiness of transaction is in comparison with fiat.

Well, you could make an NFT for your girlfriend on her birthday, women love art. Later on you teach her bitcoin and make her invest in it.

Well, first of all, I received bitcoin some days ago on my birthday, and you know, it feels really great to me.

you are someone who is already in the cryptocurrency market for this reason you were happy to receive bitcoin as a gift, but other people might be happy to receive bitcoin as a gift if they can spend it in the real world

Well, first of all, I received bitcoin some days ago on my birthday, and you know, it feels really great to me. Look, we always try to give something unique as a birthday gift so that the person remembers the gift, and my gift is different from others. And what feels good to me feels good to the person to whom I give the gift. And on my most recent birthday, I received bitcoin as a gift. Though we shouldn't think about the financial value of a gift when we receive one from someone, it is a feeling that we share, which is why I didn't care about the value of the things today or in the future, I just thought about one thing: he gave me something I liked the most.should be the only thing we think about when we gift something to someone, and if we find something unique, then why not bitcoin? Thats it.

Don't tell me you learnt it from the hard way. Bitcoin has many aspects so don't think they're going to learn the entire course on Bitcoin and blockchain.

Bitcoin transaction needs carefulness and precision, it is non reversible, when you lose your assets by error you don't go to any bank to complain. So, bitcoin is not as simple as you portrayed to a layman.

The value of a gift is in the recievers eyes. Girls to the best of my knowledge loves tangible things that are flashy and aesthetics value. Which they can show you to their friends. Bitcoin is not like that. Bitcoin is not something someone will brag about that she owns.
Maybe you have forgotten that Bitcoin is money, an asset that  can be used to make transactions of what so ever. They're going to love it since it is decentralized and also has bigger chances of adding more values. They can hold large number of Bitcoin without anyone knowing which makes it unique.
I am having the feeling that you are not being realistic here, you are being too theoretical and using the general attributes of bitcoin to measure all your claims.
Let's see it thus;
You want to gift someone that knows nothing about Bitcoin right? How will the girl suddenly gonna like it because it is decentralised? Or are you trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist. To an average Jeo (your female friend) centralization or decentralization is not her problem. She is even ok with fiat, I bet you that she will be joyous to recieve a bank alert on her birthday than recieving what she doesn't know about.
My take is, if the goal is to make her happy, give her something tangible and later on introduce her to bitcoin. Or you can teach her to understand bitcoin first, before you will send her bitcoin on her birthday.

Did you say bitcoin is easy to transact?
Can you share your experience of first bitcoin transaction, let me know how easy it was for you then.
Maybe you can tell me it's difficult. How many years does it take you to learn how to send/receive Bitcoin?
Bitcoin transaction is not an easy one for someone that knows nothing about Bitcoin. Nothing about Bitcoin is easy to learn. Asking how many years it took me to learn bitcoin transaction does not relate because in this very context we are discussing bitcoin in relative to fiat.
Answer me, did you even learn how to send/receive fiat?
Bitcoin transaction needs carefulness and precision, it is non reversible, when you lose your assets by error you don't go to any bank to complain. So, bitcoin is not as simple as you portrayed to a layman.

That's a great idea and if you'll teach and enlighten her more about the importance of Bitcoin, I'm sure that she'll definitely feel grateful for it. In our generation, more women are appreciative of cryptocurrency gifts because women are aware of their value as an investment and asset. If you'll give your friend a Bitcoin as a present, she'll surely benefit from it for a long time especially if she'll hold it for a long-term investment.

I would be happy should my partner or a friend gifts me bitcoin, given that I am into crypto. For someone who doesn’t know about bitcoin or isn’t interested in crypto your kind gesture may not be as appreciated as you think it would. Giving bitcoin to someone who doesn’t understand it will not make her smile, it won’t make her day, schooling her then how bitcoin works is not what should happen within that space. Gifting her bitcoin tells me you’re thinking long term with this person.
I agree with you on this because you can not give your friend or sister bitcoin as a birthday gift expecting her to be happy or excited when she does not know the importance or value. Ensure that they know the usefulness of bitcoin before giving them other wise what you think will make them happy may end up ruining there day.

what if someone gives bitcoin to someone as a gift, maybe that sounds good, because the value of bitcoin is now very fantastic, but it would be nice before we give a gift to someone in the form of bitcoin, we must make sure first that he must understand bitcoin, and he knows about wallets to secure the bitcoins that we give, but most girls in my country, prefer if we give gifts in the form of antiques, and valuables such as gold, and diamonds.

Since their is not as much adoption of Bitcoin from women, I thought of giving my sister and a friend Bitcoin as birthday gifts. Although i know it might sounds odd or uncommon to us but I think this will help them a lot and the awareness of Bitcoin because they will end up telling their friends and the friends telling more friends.

OP, can you please clarify this bold statement that I highlighted? What do you mean by since there is not as much adoption of bitcoin from women? Are you pertaining it to all women in general or are you pertaining it exclusively to your female friend and sister?

Nevertheless, bitcoin adoption is slowly getting its recognition over the years. Since its price is significantly high on the market, people are taking advantage of its volatility for either short/long-term investment for its value.

All women want to be loved more on their birthdays receiving precious gifts from love ones. Bitcoin is more precious to me than mere gifts that will end up not appreciating in values. How are you going to feel if you receive something that could improve yyour financial life as a birthday? Holding this asset(Bitcoin) for few year from now can become a game changer for her when other gifts might have lost value.

If someone gives me some BTC as a birthday present, I would be more than happy to HODL it and treat it as a long-term investment. Imagine, the value of BTC right now can increase in the future. Let's say a person gives me $100 worth of BTC as my birthday present, 10-15 years from now, that $100 worth of BTC could be $1000 depending on its price!

Depends on the woman we are talking about probably. If she understands bitcoin and what it is about she will not spend it and hold it but if she knows this stuff then she already has a decent stash. If not she will spend it on something right away.

I would give her something physical. To me, It makes more sense as a gift. But like I said, this depends on many things. You know her better than we do. If you think she'll like crypto then give her crypto. If not, don't waste your energy on that and give her something she will like. In the end giving gifts is about making people happy. You are not trying to teach her anything here.

I'm not sure if anyone had give someone some BTC and then that person eventually got interested and tried learning more about BTC and learn trading. I would love to do it to someone so that I'd be remembered by him because I influenced him.

Once done sending BTC to someone, I thought he would be interested but at the end of the day, it best to just give them something that they can use already or spend. If someone dear to me like playing guitar, I will give him guitar as gift even if he already has a guitar he still will love it.

- Can be a great asset that can change her financial status.

If you are giving bitcoin as a gift then I am assuming you are giving a decent amount as a gift. But how will it change their financial status ?
Unless you are giving them thousands of dollars worth BTC as a gift it won't change their financial status, at least not any time soon.

But yeah, your intentions are still good that you are doing it for the awareness and you should proceed with what you have planned.

- Send them affordable Bitcoin on their birthday.

Give them bitcoin as a gift, but not on birthdays and valentines days and Christmas and stuff. A gift(especially for these special days I've mentioned) are mostly something to make them happy; not an opportunity for you to shove down your interests to them regardless if you have good intentions.
That's true, gifts received on those special days were more precious and special for them. As you've said that a gift should make them happy on their special day. In my view special gifts will be kept safe without spending or giving to others. So, when bitcoin is being gifted automatically it gets hold through which one can feel the best in the long term and feels much happy in the long run.
i know that women like material things but any of them that brainy enough will like to venture or accept bitcoin, actually birthday celebration in female life they like those natural gift and they value it most than any other things, shall it depends on what the celebrate really acknowledge or like.
