That's good and nice innovative idea .Although girls prefer jewelry and other items as gifts,But I welcome this step to make everyone aware  about Bitcoin. Next Eid like yours I will give my wife bitcoin as Eidie(Gift)and let her know about it, although I have already told her a lot about Bitcoin and blockchain network.

We know that bitcoin is a really nice gift to a person but it depends on how they will use this kind of coin, to the people does not know how the bitcoin works, it's quite hard to understand to them how to manage and deal with it, but now with the use of the internet, we know the bitcoin is very on the top of the trend because of the value of it and of course, there's a chance they hold or sell this immediately because it has a value.  Holding is the key this kind of give is quite expensive but worth it to give.

I would agree that women would love tor receive precious gifts like jewelries or maybe even a car...but there can be something more special if you give them Bitcoin. Not only will they start to get educated on the potential game-changing features of this coin but they can be building on something that we project can be more valuable into the future. I am then 100% supporting your intent and your desire to spread more awareness for Bitcoin in particular and cryptocurrency in general. How lucky are those women who can get something really valuable from you. So go for it and make things happen.

Start gifting cars to women and expect to become a lot poorer very fast Cheesy

Jokes aside, if a woman is happy from any gift you give her and appreciates any effort, she's a keeper. Try giving her some BTC and if she does some research and learns to use a wallet and manages to send a transaction and buy herself something nice, she's a treasure. Even better if she doesn't spend it all and keeps some as an investment.

Even when you think this gift is nothing interesting for a girl, try it out just to see how she responds.

I don't think women will be impressed if you give them bitcoin as a gift unless she knows the importance of bitcoin. Most women will prefer to get something tangible as a gift that they could hold and show off to their friends. Since bitcoin is just virtual currency, i doubt girls won't like it generally. Anyways if she has knowledge about bitcoin, she might prefer it.

Although i know it might sounds odd or uncommon to us but I think this will help them a lot and the awareness of Bitcoin because they will end up telling their friends and the friends telling more friends.

Yes, it does however, I am hoping they actually will be interested and both are able to HODLing because most ladies as we know like to spend cash and they don't cash out quicker than expected Grin and if that is not the case, then they might be able to also educate some more friends as you think but I too believe in other more suitable gifts for that occasion and Bitcoin in a more focused time.

So, how did it go, did you gift it to them yet? Since this post is a few days old, I mean.
I think that depending on the person, it would be a well-received gift. And people, males or females, know a bit about Bitcoin now (in an abstract sense, sure) so it's not like gifting it to someone back in 2017. There are references to Bitcoin in everyday life, so while that doesn't educate them (you're right in wanting to educate them about it), it's easier to convince them that it has value at least.

its a good idea, one thing you need to add is continuous education and enlightenment about bitcoin and everything that surrounds it so that they wont abandon it after a while as your main target is not her only but her friends and other friends also.
If you are just focusing only into your friend then its not bad to focus on her but if you are targeting on people around her too then its not bad to share up the overall idea so that it would also help
somehow when it comes to global adoption and recognition of Bitcoin. It is really just understandable that you should really at least make her know about bitcoin so  that the gift would be given
wont be ignored or wont really be that be wasted because later on she would definitely not minding on that thing since she doesnt really have any knowledge at all.

- Send them affordable Bitcoin on their birthday.

Give them bitcoin as a gift, but not on birthdays and valentines days and Christmas and stuff. A gift(especially for these special days I've mentioned) are mostly something to make them happy; not an opportunity for you to shove down your interests to them regardless if you have good intentions.
I think in the same way, even if a bitcoin gift even if small it is a better investment of that money than most gifts that we could give, it is a mistake to do so when we are supposedly thinking about them and what it would make them happy, unless of course they were like us and they were interested by a high degree in this market, but if that is no the case then it is better to give them something else that matches their interests and not our own.

With the potential for Bitcoin to be very expensive in the future, teaching our families, especially younger sisters, is a good thing for her. I have an older sister who is currently married, I intend to tell her about Bitcoin, so that she can invest in bitcoin and not be too tired of working with other people, because she has 3 children so taking care of the family and working outside is really tiring for her.

Why I choose Bitcoin over other gifts

- Bitcoin can appreciate more in value with time.
- It is secure and private.
- It is fast and easy to transact.
- Can be a great asset that can change her financial status.
Your reasons for choosing Bitcoin are genuine and fact unless for the eventualities that may arise from the reception of this gift, e.g what if Bitcoin went the opposite direction that is falling in price as soon as you gift them the Bitcoin, a volatile asset such as Bitcoin to me is not a suitable birthday gift as you need to gift them something more stable and that have a physical representation. Again talking about changing the financial life through the gift may not be likely possible and depends on how much Bitcoin you gift them.
Another thing that will make your gift more meaningful is the fact that you are ready to educate them about Bitcoin before gifting them but know that this process may not make your gift to be as surprising as you said as they will already have the prior information about the gift. This is the point am trying to make, you can gift the Bitcoin anytime you want but not on a special occasion like a birthday.

Even when you think this gift is nothing interesting for a girl, try it out just to see how she responds.

Well, you are absolutely right, and in a non-joking sense, women are actually very few who are interested in technology and learn about BTC, just imagine that you give a BTC to your girlfriend, and that she then do not give it the pertinent importance? that she even takes it as something normal? me in you, I prefer to take her out for coffee, to share with her, and if you want to give her BTC make sure she knows what she is talking about, or at least knows the scope of BTC, it would be a shame if you give her BTC and she lose the data.

This is like giving her $100 and having her just throw it away. I never encounter any kind of woman that is throwing money around because they are not into technology, unless they are so rich that they really don't need $100. The point was whether or not you were interested in bitcoin; if we're talking about money, I'm sure they'll be interested in how to make more of it or withdraw it. I don't see any reason for women to do this right now, especially since BTC is becoming well-known, and I'm sure she is aware of it.

Sure, give them bitcoins as a gift but random gift. Not during their birthday or other special occasion. You should give them something that they can keep with them and remind them of you when they look at it. Not money or crypto currencies.
But yeah, teach them how to use it. It doesn't have to be during their birthdays. You can teach them whenever you want. If they are interested, they will learn about it.
All women want to be loved more on their birthdays receiving precious gifts from love ones.
Then give them something precious. Not money.

I have been considering Bitcoin as a very good option for making a profit for quite some time now. I think that everyone can be convinced of this and get the desired result.

Wow this changed my mind really. I was also down the impression to gift bitcoin on birthdays and special days of theirs but after this it makes sense. The learning time is entirely different and gifting and happiness is entirely different story. Because it should not happen that once they open the bitcoin gift card and end up confusing what the heck is this.  Grin
Could turn into disaster gift ever due to confusion but ideally some could Love it considering the newer modern world. But yes, will do think twice before gifting bitcoin. Whether they Love it or not that should be known.

@op, it's a good idea no doubt, but I highly doubt they will immediately appreciate your bitcoin gift.
We all know women to be lovers of physical gifts, most especially, fancy things, they won't immediately understand or even appreciate your bitcoin gift because they don't understand it neither do they understand its worth, and for the fact that it might take atleast, years before the gifted amount of bitcoins appreciate in value to a tangible worth of money, this might even make it more disappointing and dissatisfying for them.

So what am suggesting you do is buy them physical gifts, something they will really love and appreciate, then on the side, also gift them the amount of bitcoins you plan on gifting them, doing this, I believe will make them appreciate you and even make them to give you a more listening ear when you will explaining to them what bitcoin is all about and how to manage it.

It's better if you give btc first as a gift before you start educating them because that is more surprising. You may think that they will be disappointed or whatever but not until you start explaining bitcoin to them. Why will you give a gift to that girl anyway?

It was your sister's friend, not yours. Hmm??? tell me, you have a crush on here right? Don't deny it, your already caught out hehe. You and your sister prolly lives in one house and she can see what you're doing so she might already know something about btc but you can still give her a btc on her birthday if you want to, she will still appreciate it knowing that it was still a form of money and she can sell it if she don't like to keep it.

- I will educate them on what Bitcoin, Blockchain, wallet and other necessary things.

Go for it man. It is quite thoughtful of you. However, just as you have pointed out. Educate them and make it a continuous learning process until they are able to get full grasp of the knowledge.

I have a sister and a female friend that will be celebrating their birthday soon and I'm thinking of getting them something unimaginable. Since their is not as much adoption of Bitcoin from women, I thought of giving my sister and a friend Bitcoin as birthday gifts. Although i know it might sounds odd or uncommon to us but I think this will help them a lot and the awareness of Bitcoin because they will end up telling their friends and the friends telling more friends.

I would advice you to before giving bitcoin as birthday gift, tell and teach her about bitcoins and its benefits. If she like it, only send give her that gift on her birthday.
If she do not show interest in bitcoins, better not force her to accept bitcoin as a gift for her birthday. She would sell and convert it into fiat, if she is do not understand the importance of crypto.

The problem is that women around me don't really understand what bitcoin is and they only know but don't know what it means women's ability to understand bitcoin is still lacking, even though I would love to give bitcoins as gifts for the future.
Most of the time I just love gold gifts as a special woman and they are very happy with it but when I talk about bitcoin and will give it women always refuse because they don't know how to use and analyze it, those are some of the shortcomings that I face even though this is not a problem big, but women always want to be a physical object that they want to hold.
