The more I think about it, Gavin was most probably correct, when he said "Cloud mining" is a Ponzi's or they will become Ponzi's.

I still have some Ghash with Cex, and it burns to know that I would never see a ROI on any of the cloud mining projects I have taken part in. There was a time when a investment early into one of these "cloud mining" services, was a sure way to get ROI, but those days are gone.

The business model just cannot work, without going Ponzi at some time.  Sad

those days that you can roi on cloudmining sites is from the days that btc price is at its highest value

I think on terms of being legit, CEX.IO wins. But cloud mining rarely turns a profit. You make more money trading it than mining Tongue

Umm, I don't even know what to say about this -____-

how much fee cex io?
to invest there.

I was not to suggest cex.io because maintenance costs can be more expensive than its bitcoin reward cmiiw
LOL, this one is true!
i got negative reward from block solving because cex.io increase maintenance fee!
that's too bad your investment become negative because your income from mining to small compare to fee
but this one is real cloud mining, they have real equipment, mining on pools, and pay the hosting
so they need maintenance and decide to take it from customer
fake cloud mining just shows stats and almost no fee at all
that's why cex.io still operating till now, and many others competitor become scam!

A good one I've came across is called Scrypt.cc, but some people say it might turn out to be a scam. So be careful, a lot of sites are usually ponzis, or have really high ROI.

Do you want advice? My advice is don't invest in cloud mining service.
1. Many cloud mining turn become scam after period of time. Beware with service which offer high return of investment. Most likely become ponzi
2. HARD to get ROI. Because mining is not profitable enough, it's common to see cloud mining investment not even reach break even.
I also give the same advice! don't invest in cloud mining service.
I don't know anyone who earned money on such investments.

During this time, I do not think cloud mining is profitable, I doubt it that you can even make some ROI. A lot of those cloud mining schemes are for lost and some are scams too. But if you still want to dive in, choose very wisely on which one you will invest with.

I think, it is high time to you understand the legitimacy parameters predicted in Cloud Mining 101 are pure truth. The overtly promoted ClouMining.Webiste is now missing and there is a void in 'legitimate cloud mining' space. The worst option you have now is www.CloudMining.website which is verified by a sponsored third party to deliver ROI within 114 days...

Source: http://www.cmmonitor.com/24-cloudmining-website.html

There will many people here to tell you some other story because they discovered the truth by that 101 and now they're trying desperately to sell of their CloudMining.Website share. Oh wait, CloudMining.Website even doesn't have an exit strategy and it depends mainly on the referrals!!! Be careful...

Fixed.

I already noticed there are a lot of people here simple puts who has a paid signature (specially if it's endorsing a cloudmining service) on their ignore list and this type of post shows why these people do this. I'm not against signature campaigns. If you want to do this, even if it isn't a legit company, it's up to you. After all, the responsability is not yours, but from the company who is offering the service. But try to misinformating people, specially newbies, is totally unacceptable. Also, it harms the reputation of Bitcoin.

Remembering:

1. Nobody knows at what address or pool CloudMining.Website is mining.
2. Nobody knows what ASICs they are using, or even if they have any ASIC. They don't tell anything about this.
3. They sell an unlimited hashrate. Do they have unlimited ASICs to do this?
4. They have referral programs, which in a competitive market, where you need to have minimal costs, doesn't have any economic sense.
5. Nobody knows the location of the company and of the miners.
6. You can't re-sell your hashrate.

They don't have any proof about being a legit company. Creating a cloudming website like that shouldn't take more than 1 day and doesn't require any skills about Bitcoin mining. You just need to buy a domain, look at the average market prices, tell what is cloudmining, putting a sign in / sign up page, announce a sig campaign at BitcoinTalk and profit.
from your remembering things above, those point remind me about pbmining year ago
no pool info, no real address which generated bitcoin store there, no proof they actually have mining hardware
and they promote 10% referrals plus can't sell hashrate
from my point of view, most likely cloudmining.website will end like pbmining, turn to be scam if there are'nt enough people buy their "fantasy" hashrate

There isnt much options for legit cloud mining sites, hashnest recently stopped communicated their supporters aka bitmain once they did their price hike.

You can follow up on the other threads, but even the legit ones will scalp you due to fees add up etc.

There is no good cloud mining service at the moment
cex.io : very hard to reach ROI there, fee is high and price is bit higher
pbmining : scam! they didn't have hardware in my opinion, never showed us their mining hardware or bitcoin from their mining process
AMhash : not trustworthy anymore, since they said their mining hardware stolen Sad
cloudmining website : reach ROI in 114 days (from calculation above), not profitable if you calculate it
so my advice is invest your bitcoin in another type of investment

I really recommend reading first similar topics, before posting new thread on very similar issue.

It is a good practice to use one of the opened topics to post your question there, rather than start a new discussion.
