I discovered bitcoin when it was about $5 per coin and during that time for several reasons I could not buy it. I discovered eth and xmr when they were around $10 per coin and I could not find a good place to buy them. I discovered netko when it was about $0.05 and I could not get the wallet compiled. I probably had around 40 bitcoins and cashed them all out under $800 and I could name more.

You?
Not joining this token and then suddenly you just have a news that it become super successful and they earn a very good profit also i have experience when i invested in a token and then suddenly after investing it just dump for so long and i guess it is already a dead coin in the market so my money was stack and i cant gain a profit in my investment.
I lost nearly $ 100,000 in the same situation as you, only a few months ago the price was only $ 0.1 and both now reach $ 8. Don't rush to evaluate the situation at the present, but consider the potential of the project in the long term
We almost have same issues in holding long terms before  the coins that I have from campaigns after distribution i always sell it. Not realizing that their value can reach high as moon so I'm taking things seriously now and learned to bold as much as possible.
In the marketplace as well as the battlefield, so we need a head calm and insight in everything. From what happened in the past we learned new lessons and that is the best for present and future.

Being "wise" and taking all the alts profits, after all the huge altcoing pumps , and mostly taking out depo in usdt, when there were first signs of btc buble pop and not getting in back as soon as possible lol =D

Regrets? Not so much.  Though I lost much on shitcoins in Yobit and ccex but still it gives me a lesson and to have extra careful in investing with them. Just scrutinized the project always before you invest.

You cant really tell what are the coins do have the potential to price increase in the future. We do really have some regrets on the past that thinking that we do make huge profits if we sell a little late but still its better since you are on profits still. How i wish that i did know about bitcoin when it was just low in value. For now im seeing potential alts but i do limit myself on investing since we wont really know if it would grow or dump forever.

My biggest regrets was when eth price is down sharply, it was only around 10$ and I bought 10eth and sold it when the price was 15$, few months later the price going up until 100$, and then I feel that I had spend too many Bitcoin when the price is low, if I still save it then I can buy more valuable stuff

I will say like this in 2012 i mined around 120 BTC

Price at that time was around 7€ i sold some at 14 and so on...
I lost around 20BTC after people scam me and not ship their miners also here on bitcointalk.

I mined 700 LTC in 2013, have sold them for around 2 BTC back in that time...

Have looking at ETH, when was 1 € and didnt buy it Sad

Lost on crptsy around 2 BTC coins that time, now probably worth 10BTC

I keep bust my head about this, because if i hold all of that until this year.... you know what? I could have fortune.

I learn from my mistake not to hold. I dont do that anymore.

I hold now everything what i mine, even if need to sell my car to have money.

After some years price will go up and then i can say to myself that i made something from it.

So people, everthing that is now red would go up, learn from your mistakes and HOLD... Crypto forever

My biggest regrets in cryptocurrency was back on 2013 when my friends know about this thing & didn't follow their advises and how promising bitcoins can be in the future. The latest regrets I'm encountering right now is recently when i cash out all my btc while its on dump stage & didn't know that it will pump up sooner or later lol that's my mistakes and listen to someones opinion about segwit thing.

You?

- Buying only a small amount after BTC dropped from 15 USD to 2 USD.
- Keeping cash/coins on an Exchange (MTGox disaster)

I cannot remember exactly for how much I sold BTCD. I only know that I made some profit, but I sure missed out Lamboland. I think that most people in crypto regret lost profits.
Loss that results only due to time that makes alts or coins value increase. I regret that i converterted some of my btc into our fiats last week when I thought it will decreased more and I planned to bring it back by August 1 but since I already spend my savings buying my needs a treat for myself anyway. Which not regretful that much . It will be a lesson learned for me not to convert or panic at any issues.

I have two most regrets in crytocurrency:
1. Selling 250 eth when the price was $60.
2. Buying SONM ICO tokens with 10 ETH, and now the price is only 30% of the ICO price.

Your first is worst I think. Thats too unwise. Do you panic sell that time?

Well as for me, my biggest regret is when some coins really dump but Im too greedy, I've waited again to dump more but things turned out, it pumps and I didnt have the chance to buy those coins. I regret that but I learned something new in this crypto world. By the way, those coins are eth and ltc.

1. Invested in cloud mining (Scrypt.cc, GR, hashnest, zeushash, genesis)
2. Bought ETH at $0.5, sold them at $0.4  Sad
3. Sold my 5M DGB at 27 sats
4. Sold 2M RDD at 4 sats (1 weeks before the great pump to 80 sats)

2 regrets

1 - sold 28 btc when it was 13

2 - lost 2 btc due to bad hdd and didnt made any backup

thats hard and really heart breaking ! 28 bitcoin sold when you are 13 it is sort of okay but the 2 btc with the current price right now is really sick! it really hurt! but because of your mistakes you will learn something so you should backup your important things credentials seed or private key so that if the a problem happen then you have a back up

Definitely not buying ETH back when it was 8$. And also selling 0.88 BTC back when it was 300$  Cry Cry

Selling really can make us regret , I remember my stratis. I'd experience such things when I got to sell before, just for trying trading activities but now I will keep on holding unless I will be needing too.
