I would suggest you to go with the top 10 in the CMC list as these are very impressive coins and have future ahead. If you are really confused research on your own rather than trusting others, well this will teach you a lesson also kindly plan for long-term investment if you really want to make huge profits.

I think now in this market it is safe to invest in btc, it fell strongly and I think it will recover in the near future, so I would take eth it began a bullish trend and I think it will cost good money by the end of January

Well, I can't suggest you any coin to invest as this is a volatile investment and it's not appropriate that you will follow with those suggestions as it will become bias on your side. It's your money that will be in risk then you need to do your diligent research on where to invest your money. Be responsible on your money and decide at your own understanding as you had no one to blame if your investment went wrong.

better to invest some of your time to research which coin your gonna invest in, don't listen to people here some of them are just gonna advertise their coins they're holding, so if you ever gonna lose money you'll only have yourself to blame and not the other.

Better study by yourself . Don't make decision based on our answers what to buy . If i was you i would probably split them in BTC / ETH / Ripple and some low marketcap tokens/coins just in case it shoots up . But make your own study where you would like to put money in .

If you have a long term view you can actually invest in some of those new coins and became a millioniare in five to eight years to come. I believe that we can seriously taken the advantage of the falling in price of ethereum and others major coins and make good profits from them when there began to rise up. $5000 is a good money and when the market appreciate you will be able to make good Profits from it if you buy the right coins.

I advise you to to do your own research well before investing. Personally, I would say top coins on CoinMarketCap because those are coins wit potentials and since many of them are low in price now because the market is down, you can stack up some e.g NEO, ETH, EOS and a bit of ripple and Litecoin

It is depend on your skills,financial literacy,risk management etc.. Diversifying money between top 100 coins is also good idea like making portfolio with new low cap coins. At the end of day it is your decision,your money,your life..
