I think 1 to 2% of the people will own bitcoin by 2020. But may be 5 % of the will use the bitcoin actively.
That could be right. The infrastructure of using the bitcoin needs to be built around the globe before it can be used widely.

Old people will leave and new people will come..This circulation will keep on going and by 2020 I strongly believe the number will increase as compared to today but we cannot predict by how much it will increase. To be fair, the number can also decrease if bitcoin crashes by that time. It fully depends on bitcoin how it can attract new users.
Yeah thats true and if old people will be gone,we may see really big amount of people on whole world using bitcoin,but i think that won't cross about 10%,remember there are a shitton of poor people who dont even own mobile phone

Who owns bitcoin is totally depends upon what people think about it . how much success bitcoin will get and how soon markets start accepting bitcoin as a alternative payment methods and also how government are going to react about high usage of bitcoin so it is not possible to predict how many people will join bitcoin till 2020...
I think it would reach 40% at least; i live in Botswana; its a country in southern region of Africa; a woman has made endeavors to make Bitcoin known by Botswana citizens. She was quite successful and i have noticed that most people aren't surprised to hear about it. They have even set up a Bitcoin ATM within the capital city; its only one but it's a start.

It is really hard to say but i would say 15% at maximum,and this number is still really big.
You cannot expect that people that are poor may have some bitcoins,they will probably never know about it.

2020 is just very close from now so I think there would be no major change in terms of the number of users, I don't know because I cannot really tell but since we are increasing overtime we will surely have a good number but should not be unrealistic like reaching 30% or more.
It's possible for bitcoin to gain 30% or more in 2020 because it's still far and we are just in 2016 and there still 4 years for bitcoin to gain more popularity and you should for your calculation that bitcoin is a digital thing and it can only found on internet so it will be easy for us to spread bitcoin to different social media site like facebook which have a lot users and i think majority of the users of facebook will use bitcoin if they just understand the benefits of using it

Lol world population of about 3 billion people while users bitcoin only 10 millions of people?20 Million is nothing for bitcoin . 2020 is far far away. 5 years are too much for a digital thing. Yeah, at least 30% in my opinion. Remember that we took off from no users at all from the start to where we are here. If we can come this far then surely getting more users wouldn't be a problem.
When fiat dies, this is when people starts to seek an alternative.
May be in 2020 there is about 30 per cent of the population around the world will use the Bitcoin and own it, and this percentage will increase with time without any doubt.
2020 is not that far. I think the human race does not change much at the time. I think people are a little more Bitcoins expense of popularization, but only in the developed countries. In third world countries are unlikely to be any progress.
