Maybe he thinks the task is too simple but becoming a developer is not an easy thing.

I guess it is the thing you love most of a job that you should be taking serous of. I learned so many skills already and it these certificates are just to be forgotten. I became a business man because this is what I love. Selling and being an entrepreneur gives me happiness and satisfaction and life. I've learned a lot of skills such as 2D, 3D artist, rendering and stuffs. Manual drafting skills and also became an instructor. Suddenly I gave up on these careers as I don't feel the passion in it. If you are looking just for money then you should try on the engineering field, may be become a software engineer and the sorts of. These professions are getting a lot of attentions lately as we are going to full scale digital world.

It all depends on the platform you want to be working on, it’s good to check the platform and know what skills are available there. You can check out upwork.com and fiverr.com. Although fiverr.com is totally different from Upwork because you can sell any skills on fiverr.com, but I think upwork.com is limited to an extent.

Everyone in the current economic crisis would want to increase their income, because sometimes it is not enough to rely on the salary we get from
our work, so we will try to find a side job to increase income. But there will be quite a lot of competition, so I do agree with you, we have to improve
our abilities to make it easier to get side jobs. Because now everything is done digitally, so many companies need programmers or graphic designs.
So if you learn this, your chances of getting a job will be more open. Moreover, there are quite a number of trusted course places that can make us
have good programmer or graphic design skills. But like you said, we must be willing to work hard and never give up to be able to improve our abilities,
as long as we have strong intentions, surely we will achieve what we want.
I would say development is also a great way as well, not that others would be bad but development definitely covers a lot of stuff altogether. If you could develop a smart contract of your own (or just copy one in 5 minutes and change some stuff) that is already good enough, but if you could develop something original, something that will get you paid, then you could work for so many companies altogether. You could also learn how to write. Writing is a very much sought skill, the downside is that you may not get paid as much as a developer, but if you get great at it, you could get paid a lot. I get paid nearly x4 more than the minimum wage in my nation, technically speaking I am even getting paid to post this message as well. So all in all even though it is not a high amount, you could definitely get paid for writing, but it needs to be of good quality, broken English and bad grammar would not do.

You are in the right track since digital marketing is one of demanded job in this space but don't expect that you can get the job easily as many people around the globe also seek for a job for some position in related to that job so better enhance your skill and show some uniqueness so that you can get hire among those many applicants. Also don't rush things because if you learn more skills and knowledge earnings will follow so better familiarize first how the industry moves since its more helpful rather than chasing jobs here.
I would suggest you to start earning from bitcointalk by joining signature campaigns or bounties, while you build a portofolio describing the skills you will learn in te future.
It's also better to describe what skills you have actualy because for sure you may find a way to earn from it online ; i remember see an architect offering services here for btc and also a Chess master who offer courses for cryptocurrencies.

The best one is networking. Doesn't matter what kind of job you do, it is all about getting the work. You are not a developer? Find a work for a developer and then get paid a lot and pay someone less to do it.
Seems to be the best advice, however it does also require skills to convaince people to trust you and a minimum of knowledge to check the works done by the people you will hire. You will not be able to assist a work done in the field of programming and developement if you don't have knowledghe about programmation and developement . 
There are no rules, people with any skills can make money, some more and some less, how much you can earn will depend directly on you! As some others say, and I agree with them, find something that interests you, whether it's about developing sites, programming, or you're more interested in marketing or something else, any of these can bring you some profit if you are good at it, and better you are more money you can make!
