I think you can look into what you have passion for and build yourself more. You need better and more focused training if that is the career that you want. Freelancing is more of side jobs but it can put food on your table when your main source of income is down, so it is better to take it seriously. There are different online programs that you can learn.

Now the era has become more sophisticated and indeed there are some things that can be done only online. I think this will be a little difficult when it doesn't match what you are interested in but when you are now an article writer, do I think you can also become Copywriting or indeed something related to writing.
But I quite agree with what @mk4 said when he said Programming now I think it's promising to do but it needs a process in learning more in my opinion when indeed we don't have a base there.
And don't know if this is useful or not now in my country there are a lot of podcasters and they upload it on several social media and several platforms

     Search for what's most in demand. Then go get some free courses with free certificates for whichever skill you want to learn you can go for a single one or multiple ones to upgrade your résumé. Best sites I can recommend are Udemy, google skillshop, coursera, Oxford home study centre, hubstop inbound marketing certification and lastly code camp. Be wary though, having too many may make you lose focus. Good luck op!

Before I give you some of my advice as an experienced freelancer, let me tell you a story of mine on how I got started my career and developing my skills.

During my college days, my dad only gave me a weekly allowance of $10 + my late grandmother who also give me extra $2 per week that time for a total of $12. I didn’t learn how to save money that time (I did for once just to buy a cheap colored Nokia phone that took me a very long while to afford it). For a 3rd world country, the amount was already decent to buy cheap food and drinks in the university canteen. I usually walk from home to the university and vice versa since it’s kinda near to me. I encountered freelancing for the first time when my friend called me from home that he saw some extra sites that could make me some extra money, and I was intrigued by it.

In the university, I go to an IT department building where students can use the computer and internet for a limited time (no games allowed lol). During my extra time, I researched about freelancing like I could earn an extra $2, $5 or $10 for a simple task. In my mind, those amounts are already “big” for a college student in a 3rd world country. I started learning on how to do data entry, forum posting and other simple tasks.

I remembered that the first task I got was a simple forum post and I earned $2+. And yes, I was happy! I already have a Paypal and bank account back then. Then I kept searching for more tasks, earning $3, $5, $10, etc., until there’s a client who is looking for a forum poster in his travel forum offering $30. I applied and he accepted it. When I finished the work and he gave me $30, I was super happy! Then he offered me a monthly work of $50 for maintaining the forum with some posts. Since we don’t have internet at home, I usually do the work within the university’s IT department computer station.

Despite that my dad didn’t want me to do extra work (and money) and likes me to focus on graduating first, it’s where I finally felt that a weekly allowance of $10-$12 isn’t enough. Something tells me that I can do more than that. But of course, I didn’t left out my studies. I managed my time for both studying and working. And yes, I did graduated in college.

During that time, I see that there are lots of article writing opportunities that pays more. I didn’t have any experience yet, but I was eager to learn. I started doing writing gigs for clients. Despite that my English isn’t fluent, I still managed to get paid for a decent looking article.

After that, I was asking myself on why others are getting paid more than me even if it’s just 500 words? I was curious. So I kept improving my skills as an article writer until I got a good paying client who paid me $300 to $400 a month because of the quality articles I’ve written. But sad to say that the project didn’t last long. Because of that, I am urged to learn more skills like doing video editing, managing clients and customers, graphic designing and so much more.

Fast forward to today, I am more passionate in doing video editing. I learned how to increase my video’s clickthrough rate (I am still getting there), attractive banners and thumbnails, giving value to viewers and subscribers, etc.

Regarding my advice to you, upgrade yourself and don’t be just satisfied on the current level of skill you have. Don’t just stick to what you have if you are not happy of your current income. Have self-confidence. Be expandable and eager to learn more. Empty your cup by spending time training and practice more to become a successful freelancer that clients are hungry to offer your services in the future.

Ask yourself on why others are successful and getting paid more than you even if it’s just for article writing. Instead of asking, “I can’t do what other successful people are capable of.”, try something like “How can I be like them?”. Once you’ve asked that to yourself, for sure you’re going to gather a lot of ideas and brainstorm it. Take it one day at a time. It’s not an easy journey, but one day it’ll be worth it and inspire others to do the same.

This is an easy question for you, and the answer is very hard for us. Because you are the one who will learn and earn as well. Writing content isn't a big deal and there are a lot of people offering that service, so probably you won't get what you are expecting. You have to think about where you may concentrate more deeply. There is a lot of work to learn. Most popular and demanded job in crypto/blockchain developers. So developer course would be best including Web development. The world moving to digitalization, so the demand for web/app developers increasing day by day. Besides that, you may learn graphics design as an optional subject. So you may seek work once you aren't soo busy.

On second thought I thought that you don't get paid at all from the articles you are saying that you write but you get some payment but you are not satisfied with the pay and want more. This means you are already doing freelancing and you know what you are doing but want more upgrade in pay. Suggestion is maybe you don't write higher than the pay you are getting. You should learn to upgrade your article writing maybe the employer can upgrade the pay. You can search the net to see if you can get lucky for new place. You need more skills also. Upgrade in what you do in the article or learn more stuff like digital marketing, cryptocurrency and cryptography, programming and some more.

If you need money here and now all you need is good english and some sense about crypto. Just go to "services" section and spend some time in there.

But if you want to change your life more than just earn few $$ more than learning programming is the best way. And not blockchain coding. It has very narrow applications even when creating blockchain based projects. Its better to know front end to code projects homepages or backend (harder but more money).

Programming is the best skill that makes the most money imo. Sure you can make money by writing articles too but your usd/hour rate will be lower than what you make from programming so it is not the most efficient way to go imo. You can make a lot of money from anything if you can build a solid customer portfolio. Lots of people don't even work, they open a youtube channel and go full retard. People like to watch retards too, if your stomach can handle this there is a lot of money to be made there.

There are some good sites like picoworkers, fiverr, upwork etc who can promote your writing skills and you can get paid. There is no gaurantee that it will pay you at good rates or on the monthly basis but since it is freelancer work it will have the pros and cons.

If you are willing to do any courses then you should checkout website coding, digital painting artist, resell work with dozens of sites out there.

From the name I see you belong to India. You can always work with Meesho, Yaari, etc who allows you to resell the products which are listed on the site itself. Do some research on the same and you may find right product for reselling.

Since you aren't sure or don't know the skills or interest you think you have, then find it right by browsing some works on that platform where you are looking for freelance jobs. From there, you will see those most works that have a quiet demand there.

Check the details of each work and see if, by any chance, you will have an interest in the involved work there. Then began working on improving and enhancing the skills required for it. You will know if you are ready to take that job once you feel comfortable with it.

Sometimes you have to work outside your comfort zone. It doesn't mean that if it's outside your skill, you won't be comfortable with it. That's the challenge.

I guess it boils down as to what you really love, not what is the latest trend that will give you good money. If you love blockchain, so go for learning software languages. I will just tell you base on m experience, I used to do freelance work years ago about SEO and everything related to it. So I enroll on online courses while taking some projects so really understand and to deliver quality output to my clients.

Check on udemy and coursera. You'll get to have an idea of what skills you want to gain and what are in demand. The courses there would be costing you not that much but AFAIK, there's free but when it comes to certification, you really are required to pay.
But don't consider that as costly thing because it's part of investment while learning a new skill for which you'll use to gain another source of income and service to offer.

While it would mostly be better if you go with something you're interested in, money-wise probably programming(not necessarily blockchain-related) would be best. Demand is always there and will always be there, and is highly likely to just continue to increase year by year.

Hello everyone , I wanted to increase my monthly earnings and for that I know I need to have some skills.
Currently I do write articles, but not getting paid as I would like.
I am willing to learn some more skills so that I can get good paid freelance work here in this forum or any other freelance website.
Can you please guide me what should I learn.
Some options I thought digital marketing or take a course on blockchain.
