I commonly use Coins.ph because it is easy for it to send or pay bills. In addition, it is trusted by many filipinos and by other nation too; but commonly in some bounty campaign, they are requiring to have a ETH wallet because they are allocating tokens or coins.

The most familiar ether wallet is myetherwallet, but is only devoted to eth and token based erc20, unfortunately its wallet only includes private keys for users so it is very prone to hack. All bitcoin wallet is so good.
But get more security I think mycelium bitcoin wallet is better wallet.
But I stock my bitcoin to coinbase. For transfer and exchange currency.
Private key protected wallet is cool.

Right now, I only have coins.ph and myetherwallet, I don't have a lot of altcoins because I'm just new here. Maybe soon, when I have and I need wallets for my altcoins in the future, I would get a new wallet. I'm not aware of other wallets yet, and I'm still learning.

But there are some bounty campaign that requires to have a ETH wallet also. They allocate coins so you need to sell it to become BTC and convert it into whatever your currency in your country.

Before the wallets were much better, nowadays there are few who charge a favorable fee, I use the CoinPayments online, and offline use a hardware-type pendrive of cryptomoeadas, manufactured by Ledger Wallet, I highly recommend!
