Went almost 100% on a shitcoin in 2016 that caused me to basically start over. Bounced back in 2017 by creating online businesses and went high allocation on bitcoin.

While I would've been in a far better place today if I didn't mess up in 2016 (still haunts me a bit, not gonna lie), there's nothing for me to do than to accept that huge loss as an expensive lesson and just move on.
Experienced the same scenario but not with crypto but in the real business world. I put all my hard-earned money and even took a loan, but only found out that I have invested in a scam investment. That made me feel so worthless and totally depressed that I have wasted a lot of money in just a short period of time, and everything’s gone. So I have to start in the beginning all over again, until a friend of mine introduced me to bitcoin. And the rest is history, and that made me open new opportunities for me again to make good profits and earn a living.

Isn't all our troubles both financially and non-financially usually gets better over time? I mean I have been going through some health stuff in the past year as well and it just passes with time. Even if it's a permeant thing then it's all time, I lost my grandmother at the start of September, and she is now gone, may she rest in peace, but that doesn't mean that it's not getting any easier with time, I feel better right now about it than I felt during September, and nothing changed, she is still gone, and yet with time I feel better.

So, it is similar financially as well, now you could be in big debt and feeling horrible, but how about 5 years from now? Absolutely no change? I mean even if so, you would still feel better about it at the very least.

The lowest point in my life when it cones to finance is very definitive that I can actually date it and explain how i felt at those times. If I chose to tell the story of my lowest point in life, its going to come down hard and just might be large enough to for a new thread. It was basically when I was transcending to be my own person.
Without going down that lane as the theme already centres on a troubled finance, I'll rather go down as to how I took it to get back my fit.

My most proactive measure towards profounding a lasting solution to my finance was, seeking out gainful distractions to keep myself from being sorry. I fell to my books and looked out for ways to motivate myself.
There wasn't a time to be idle as it could lead to a lot of distressi g thoughts. Somehow, books helped to convince my mind that for everything, there is a season and with proper orientation, putting efforts in the right places, adverse situations could be swapped for a merry one.

I won't say am all merry yet but, am getting real close!

Mine was when my laptop got broken and I have no money to replace it. I lost my online job and lost all my sources of income. I do 't have enough savings to buy a new laptop so I tried looking for an office job back then. I got hired but I had a hard time sustaining the necessities of my family. It's a good thing that someone lent me money to purchase a new laptop and was able to look for a better job online again. There will be unexpected problems that could come our way and that will be the time that we might think that life will be over for us, but looking back, you'll realize that good thing could still happen in the end.
I do have the same situation but this isnt my worst one, lets stick into that breaking on your own device whether it would be mobile phone or PC on which you are really that making income via with these gadgets

but ends up on being broken. This is where it do sets out on how important on making up some savings on which you could easily make out some replacement if ever these things get broken.
I do understand that we do have some other priorities but it cant really be just that you do let easily on trying out to miss on saving up at least.
You would be cutting your source of income and everything would be over if you do totally lost it.So its sensible for you to save up.

The lowest point in my life was when I was completely dependent on altcoins to survive and believed that if I kept investing in them, they would make me wealthy. I had no job at that time and no idea whatsoever that I have been hoarding shitcoins. The frustrating issue is that I sold some of my possessions, which I haven't yet been able to get back.

Thank goodness I learned my lesson and will never again put my faith in an altcoin, no matter how promising it may seem. I now invest in bitcoin with the amount I can afford to loss

Always sad when remembering this. At the time of the birth of our first child and we had no money at all and had to borrow from our younger siblings and help from our parents to pay for the birth at that time, I was very embarrassed. This was because our business went bankrupt a few months before our child was born. Until finally because we didn't have any outside jobs, we focused on the crypto world. Whatever is done umtuk earn money to at least be able to eat and daily needs. But unfortunately it's not that smooth, there are lots of scam and shit projects. And not as expected. Until finally this forum really gave us the opportunity to have a better life at that time and taught many things since then. Here there is a lot of valuable information and sharing experiences.

Third Quarter of this year was my lowest; many p2e's "died" which made me struggle financially since I was not yet employed back then to support my needs. I simply focused on what I have and somehow boosted myself to apply for a decent job which helped me to be back on my feet and to this industry. Such thing simply showed me that despite of the huge profit from this industry an investor could earn, a stable job would still be necessary for us. Problem is that many people here are blinded by stories wherein there are investors who made millions out of this industry but are not aware of how many quit halfway. Things aren't easy and you need to balance things out.

Everyone must experience the lowest point in their life and we will try to survive by doing many things to help us survive. It's very hard and not easy to get through, but if you still have the confidence to get out of the most difficult situations, we can do it. And in the end, many of us have made it through well because we didn't give up on the situation and were able to turn things around for the better. We have to do this when we are in a difficult situation because if we don't keep trying, our circumstances won't change either.

We can all agree that most of the people around the world had one of their worse, if not the worst financial situation during the pandemic. A lot of us suffered from a loss, may it be with our jobs or business. We even struggled more in the process of recovery. I made 2 jobs and both lost it after a few months. That was a nightmare for me financially, as a family man.

Last two years was a tough year for me financially, because I just graduated from higher institution and no money to invest in crypto at the moment that made me to passed through so many difficult things in the environment. I was due for marriage but money is the main reason my marriage was delayed last year until I started saying money before I got this opportunity that made Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies price to decreased for me to invest a huge amount of money on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Now that I have invested a huge amount of money, there is a hope my marriage will hold next year because the market price will definitely increase higher next year 2023.

In carrying out this life of course we all experience different problems, there are times when we are above and below, especially this financial problem has indeed become a big problem in the lives of all of us, and my most historic low point is when I experienced fraud in investing in a company and at that time I had given a very large share and not long after the Company went bankrupt, of course this is a big loss that I have experienced, and until recently I have been more careful in investing.

This happened year 2015, the year I started investing online because someone convince me to try what he's doing. Just join, pay-in then wait to pay-out. It's a facebook investment and there's an admin operating the scheme. The early you join, the high chances to profit more. Since i'm quite naive in this kind of business, I blindly join without knowing the risk. After getting my very first pay-out, I decided to invest more and more and even spread the news to my family since there's a commission if you refer someone to join. But then things turned bad as the admins suddenly deactivated their account and runaway with our money. It's my lowest point financially, I lost a significant amount plus the money of my relatives who also joined. We even tried to locate the scammer to file a complaint but we failed to do so. Clearly we're also to blame because of our greed and for thinking there's an easy money to profit, we learned the hard way.

I overcome those problems by working hard, building my own business and through investing in crypto. That's how I recover the money I lost for being a fool.

Patience is the key, this is what I have learned from my experience. I have faced something like this few years back. My mom died and then my dad left me when I was 7 months old, and my grandparents raised me. I have faced a hard life from the beginning. Despite that, I used to find joy in everything.
At the age of 18, I left the house. I was searching for a job. I attended some job interview. And was rejected for not having enough experience. I still remember how I used to wait 5/6 hours on the line just to get rejected.
Then got into a job luckily. Made some money and invested some on crypto. I still thank my friend who taught me about crypto. Now I live in a rented place and Alhamdulillah. I can afford to do it easily. Now I run a business and life is good.  Cheesy

To those who are feeling down and can't be able to find motivation to stay alive (I tried to commit suicide once because of lack of money). Listen here man. God has planned a life for you, don't end it. You'll find the best moments in your life to enjoy one day, if you are patience.

Thanks for sharing your inspiring life story. I am sure you are giving so much courage and strength to those who are going downward in their life. I did not believe "Life is good" when I was young but as time goes by, I am becoming such a believer as life proves to be better than we thought if we hang on, work hard and never give up. Looking back, I don't have much complaints cause life has given me so much. I am grateful for having everything in life.

We all have ups and downs in life. If you are old enough, there must be some painful period that you thought you'd never get over but actually you did. What was your lowest point in life ? Especially when it comes to finanical difficulties ? How did you survive ?

My lowest point was back to study overseas in XXX country decades ago. At the time, my moeny was robbed and the school kicked me of dormitory due to the overdue fees. I was reluctant to ask money from my parents and I was collecting garbage food for nearly two months to survive. Luckily one of my friends at church helped me find a part-time job and I lived on that little money for a long time. That was really an aweful experience but I am glad I made it through. What is your story ?
When it comes to that extreme difficulties or into those times which i do really get depressed that much is into that particular moment where i was making myself tolerating my greed into that extreme level or

simply i want really more profits and that was on the time that i do have some altcoins and pumped up into that extreme level which if those money had been converted to my local fiat then i have might
able to buy some car and build my own house and having that business which i do let all those things slipped because i have decided to wait up even more and believing that i could make more money
but that wasnt the case happened but rather the opposite which until now im still that having that anger and frustration if ever i do remember it but well there's no way that you could change things back in the past.

I think during the previous bear run, when Bitcoin went to the lows of 3000$ and was not anywhere near to returning back to it's normal. I was screwed, i had invested heavily into shitcoins and they were dipping even further than bitcoin. Also I was a student who was not earning anything except from bitcoin, so i was completely duped at that time but eventually market picked up in sometime I got some return of my investment which I ploughed into better coins and got great returns.

yeah moving on is a much better option, things never remain the same forever. It matters you a lot if one learns a lesson from the past experience. I personally have been through such a bad phase twice in my life, once when I invested in a shitcoin. The other time I invested in a coin comparatively stable but the market crashed and I am still hodling it since 2020. It still has a negligible impact on my lifestyle.

In my case this happened more than a decade ago when out of nowhere the company at which I was working went bankrupt and I lost my job, I had some savings however the economy was not doing well at the time and it took me six months to get a new job, so for all of that time I had to be very careful with my spending and I was very close to go in the red, and while those were difficult times at the same time they taught me a lot and allowed me to put myself in the economic position I enjoy now.

Everything really has a reason; this was also experienced by a lot of people when COVID hit since most businesses and companies were firing people just to cut their expenses, and I was one of them who got lost my job. But again, you'll learn valuable lessons when you are in a very difficult situation, and that is really the time when you can see who your true friends are. But, as they say, if one door closes, another will open, and I'm glad that when the other door opened, I was able to find a better job than my previous one. So I am happy about it, and I've also learned a lot.

Bitcoin = Financial freedom
My whole life was a complete Roller coaster and I saw both extremes even before my mid 20s. As far as I know the worst ever financial situation is just left with 1000 dollars and that's all I had after my business completely broke but luckily I paid debt with gold and other assets.

Then started working on different levels from $400 per month to $5000 in a day now just enjoying my life and I hope I won't see a downtrend atleast in the near future.

Working and earning $5000 daily. While I would not want to cast any doubt on your earnings as it is none of my business, I must admit it is hard to believe. But nevertheless, you would obviously be enjoying your life earning $5000 a day. Who wouldn’t?
I do hope you don’t spend all your $5000 in one place  Wink
Yes! It may look hard to be real but sometimes the life will give unexpected chances so all we need to do is utilizes it properly but now I am not earning $5000 everyday but surely enough to live better life style and also can take care of my family as single individual for years now.

And also I am saving and investing for future as well as any emergency situations so I don't be stranded when the rough phase comes at me hard next time.
