So what happen now after meet with your friend, are u still u friend? and what happen to your mother and sister.

My lowest point was when the crypto market crashed. yes, there are many losses that I experienced with the shitcoin that I invested before. that's why, I'm not interested in any other coins besides Bitcoin, ETH or BNB. However, fortunately I already have other assets that I got from profits when the market went up in 2017. I allocated most of my profits to invest to buy a few hectares of land.

note: in my country, the price of a piece of land is quite cheap. so, I can buy it with profit from BTC and ETH investment.

Post-covid, everything collapsed, as well as market turmoil with its downward trend. this makes us suffer, jobs are lost, income is not there. fortunately, I still believe and try with the skills I have. slowly but surely, gradually i have a job back. and lucky me, the land that I bought in 2017 from the profits of crypto investment, is now part of a government project. and its current price, increased by 8-10 times.

Well i think most of it hit very hard when crypto bearish come. anyway, what country do you live in? here in my country the land price kinda cheap if you buy it with dollar.

You are pretty smart buy piece of land, what i do is total wrong all in on crypto Sad

What do you believe in?
Especially when it comes to finanical difficulties ? How did you survive ?

2020 was a very bad year that almost took my life, but I later realized that my experience back then only added to my autobiography.

At first, COVID-19 sucked up all my finances, and I had to steadily call relatives to send money for me to feed because I was leaving in a different city from them. lately that year, I received a grant fund, but i lost it all to a forex company that had been paying investors 25% every month, but after I invested, the company crashed and all investors' funds were lost including mine. That money was my last hope of survival for 2021, but it was gone. I'm glad I made it through 2021 and started my business in 2022.

~snip~

I feel sorry for your experience, friend, but I'm glad you sailed through it and it became history. Life has its ups and downs, and experience is the best teacher. Others can learn from your experience.

~ ..... most of us here has also fail into shitcoins and lose our funds.
Actually no, there are a lot of smart people here and not much trapped in stupid things like shitcoins. If you know it's a high volatility coin, your money management skills should recognize that you don't have to put everything in such a coin. The reasonable limit for spending money on coins with bad fundamentals should be very low, maybe only 1%-5% of your total assets.

This forum is full of wise people and also smart people. I am one of those people who have bought shitcoins , but I don't buy it in large quantities. We all know, that investing just a little bit in shitcoins, will bring 10x to 100x or even 0x profit with bigger possibility.

Intelligent people don't mean don't invest in shitcoin, 2016 and 2017 is the golden age of shicoin and Ponzi projects, and if you want to make money, then it's normal for you to invest in shitcoin. I had memorable experiences at that time, I got a lot of profit from investing in them but since I am a newbie and can't understand how the market works, and when it crashed, I lost everything. Those are regrets, but I don't regret much because, at that time I was still a newbie and needed lessons to grow up.

I guess you are not alone that time as most of us here has also fail into shitcoins and lose our funds. That made me realized that there’s always less chances to secure profits when we put more allocation to shitcoins more than bitcoin. That is why I have learned from then on to focus more on bitcoin more than any other coins in the market. And I’m thankful for that since I was able to recover my previous losses slowly, and I swear there’s no place for shitcoins anymore in my portfolio.
Yep, probably everyone has such a story, but this is what gives us experience, because who once lost everything because of shitcoins will never want to repeat it again. Why put your funds at risk when you can buy bitcoin and sleep peacefully. When you look at altcoins, it seems that they can give a lot of profit in a shorter time, but in fact it is also a big risk when we can lose money just as quickly.

Someone may say that bitcoin is a slower way, I don’t know if this is true, but at the same time it is a more reliable investment. We don't have to worry about it being scammed or delisted from some exchange, and for shitcoins, this is a very real prospect that will cause the price to drop.

I could remember way back,my mom and elder sister made me got devastated, I had to leave the house to the street with nothing on me or any means of getting a way to survive on the street but I just need to leave them alone,so that they should know that without the family,I will survive. I went to the international airport sometimes in the evening to do some illegal jobs, which if I got caught by the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria security,I will be sent to jail because am not a working in the airport. For the reason, I go there once in a while.

I do sleep in an uncompleted church at nights, and in the morning I will be on the street, men I was so broke that I had nothing to hope on,the friend I put my hope on to stay in his apartment, disappointed me, when he saw my critical situation. While I was on the street one day,I met an old friend who knows that I don't live in that area and when he saw how I was looking unkept,he sensed it that something is wrong, he asked me and I told him how I left the house, immediately he took me to his house and from that day,we both go to his business, eat together and many more. I became somebody again through his kind gesture towards me.

Went almost 100% on a shitcoin in 2016 that caused me to basically start over. Bounced back in 2017 by creating online businesses and went high allocation on bitcoin.

While I would've been in a far better place today if I didn't mess up in 2016 (still haunts me a bit, not gonna lie), there's nothing for me to do than to accept that huge loss as an expensive lesson and just move on.
Same situation which i do have lots of coins in my bag today and those coins are mostly on 2016 and been mainly focusing on that point considering into those ICO days where really that on main trend which it

cant really be denied that lots of people do make out huge money out of those altcoin pumps back into those years or on the time where the market is making up some bull run.I have stick into that kind of mindset
where the more the altcoins you do hold off the more chance for you to make huge money.Until the time comes where everything is going to the floor and most of them are already dead which is really that
devastating and something you cant just easily moved on, if you do mind off that what if those money had been secured and pull off then you arent living on the current you as of this moment.
I might really be that have lots of funds but ending up on a bubble pop.  Cry

My lowest point financially was back in the last four months of 2019(September-December). I lost my job and I didn't have any side income.
My savings were down to around 1500 USD and I was spending them for food and paying the bills. I wasn't starving or homeless, but it sucked.
I got a job in January 2020 and I also joined the Bestchange sig campaign back then. I accumulated more Bitcoins and the BTC started growing later on. I wasn't that financially desperate back then and I really hope that I won't get into a worse financial situation in the future.
The future is going to suck. Inflation is high and the costs of heating during the winter increased more than 200% in my country.
What job did you lost? Real job outside or a signature campaign? I ask because your account was registered on 2015. If you have a job outside, you can always use your account in the forum to look for a sideline to earn an extra income. You can then use it as savings or just keep the BTC as a form of investment.

We won't get into a worse financial situation if only we are prepared financially. I can see that you are also living in a cold area but what if you can run a crypto-mining business? I can say this because a good number of miners can release an extreme heat. It has a double purpose this way so there is no need for you to use heaters.

We all have ups and downs in life. If you are old enough, there must be some painful period that you thought you'd never get over but actually you did. What was your lowest point in life ? Especially when it comes to finanical difficulties ? How did you survive ?

My lowest point was back to study overseas in XXX country decades ago. At the time, my moeny was robbed and the school kicked me of dormitory due to the overdue fees. I was reluctant to ask money from my parents and I was collecting garbage food for nearly two months to survive. Luckily one of my friends at church helped me find a part-time job and I lived on that little money for a long time. That was really an aweful experience but I am glad I made it through. What is your story ?

Basically, everyone must have had a story and a lowest point in their life. some are able to get back up, but many are getting worse. I just want to say, believe in yourself that you are able to get through all the obstacles that exist. with determination and hard work, there is always a way to lead to a better life.

by the way, we have an old saying. there are many roads to Rome, to make it happen you have to try and be willing to work hard.

In my case this happened more than a decade ago when out of nowhere the company at which I was working went bankrupt and I lost my job, I had some savings however the economy was not doing well at the time and it took me six months to get a new job, so for all of that time I had to be very careful with my spending and I was very close to go in the red, and while those were difficult times at the same time they taught me a lot and allowed me to put myself in the economic position I enjoy now.

During the considered lowest point of experiencing financial-related problems, I just go with the flow and do my best not to get distracted by anything even how hard it is. There are lots of times that I feel helpless but for some reason, some useful ways are coming to me unexpectedly and what I need to do is to take advantage of them.

Fortunately, with the spending effort and seriousness to survive the problem, somehow I managed to rise.

That experience will really make us a better person in the future as from there, we will try everything not to end up like that again.

Excel is fun
It was almost a decade ago when I was still studying. Luckily, I got in on a scholarship which paid 100% of my tuition. Even though everything about my studies are already paid for, I still need to work for my family who's relying on me. It came to a point where I need to be up 22 hours a day in order to study and take two jobs to help pay for my siblings' tuition fees. Was almost at the point of giving up and calling it quits when bitcoin came and signature campaigns that pay well opened its doors to me. IIRC, after taking that shift off of a restaurant as a dishwasher, I'd immediately get my phone and start reading and posting here in the forum. I relied heavily on that for a year and a half then I graduated and applied for a job that pays well for a fresh graduate. Took the time off posting in the forum and just read and participated in a lot of altcoin announcements and pump and dumps when I got the capital to start. Everything boomed in 2017 and that's how I established my printing business that gave me the most money I've had in my life until I had to close it in 2020 due to the pandemic.

Looking back, it was a wild ride. I was so close into just giving up my studies and just living for myself and abandoning my family but I'm so glad I didn't. Now, I have 2 businesses, both focusing on prints and it's paying well aside from my job in the lab. This forum and bitcoin also helped me greatly as it extended my finances whenever I need it. I think I got around 2-3 bitcoins just from forum posting alone from 2014 - 2016. Kinda kicking myself that I sold those but I wouldn't be here if it weren't for those gigs in this forum.

What is your story ?

It so happened that I have several similar stories as life continues to test me. As a child, my father left us and I had to help my mother by working after and sometimes instead of studying at school. We had almost nothing and it was very hard to live through, but thanks to the minimum income from work in the trade, my family and I survived it. Then everything went well little by little, but there was not enough money to improve the quality of life. After that, I changed jobs and went to get non-ferrous metal at a landfill. It was a terrible but more or less profitable experience. After that, I got a job as a driver for a firum, but this also did not particularly affect the development in my life. After that, I got married and, together with my wife, began to build our life together absolutely from scratch and without much help from outside. It was also difficult, but my acquaintance with the Internet and Internet projects solved the problem. Then cryptocurrencies appeared and life began to improve. I made repairs in the apartment, bought a car, then bought another apartment for my already children and started to make repairs there, but then the war came and I lost all my property, so to say that somewhere around 20 years of my past life were in vain, everything I earned and bought, I lost everything. But my family and I survived and this is the most important thing. Now I'm starting all over again. I still have my laptop and work on the Internet. Now I have to survive another fall again and it will be very difficult, but I do not give up and I am sure that in the future I will be able to solve this problem.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
My lowest point - lost my job, my rent was due, and I was kicked out of my apartment because I defaulted. I was on the streets for 2 months. Couldn't feed. Was feeding out of the trash. One day I met an old client who I had help secure a huge deal.
He couldn't believe it was me. One thing led to another; I told him my story.
Next day he met him at the spot where I always sleep on the street, he took me to one of his vacant apartments.
Got me some new close and in the next couple of days gave me some projects to handle. I started to get back up on my feet financially.
Within a couple of months, I was back to my normal self with some good cash in my account.
He gave me more projects to handle.

My lowest point was many years ago - two months after I have moved from parents, rent an apartment and began living my girlfriend. Money flew away like water through fingers. It was my first experience of being fully independent. Went from $5k to several hundreds in no time. Expenses tracking app helped me greatly, as it stopped me from spending blindly.

As to crypto. It was 2018 probably. All the altcoins I’ve bought updated its bottom that year, and as being unexperienced, I’ve sold most of them. Sold, and instead of buying Bitcoin, I think I’ve went 3/4 into Waves, rest in NEO and Bitcoin.

Funnily enough it wasn't until I began making decent money that I could look back and actually realize how much of a struggle life was years ago. Spent many years bouncing around doing casual type work which brings a very low salary and instability, it gets you into a very short term mindset where you spend money now and worry about paying it back later. That is a tough place to be and can limit your options, when you have money it is a lot easier to make more money with it. Luckily managed to avoid going to wild during those low earning years which allows the higher earning years to be a bit more productive after a small loan was paid off in the first year of a decent salary.

The lowest point I have ever felt when investing in a project that has been very long and we can trust, but when I entered the project I lost a lot of money because those who managed the project there was a very big debate so they could not finish well and the project they managed finally could not Achieve the target that had been set, and at that time very many investors suffered losses and they couldn't sue anyone, and we all had to accept the bitterness, and this is also a very bad thing that I have felt when I made an investment, now I am very careful in investing.

My lowest point financially is an experience that I can never forget, sometime in my third year in the university when I just moved to a new accomodation and all the money I had was what I spent paying for the accommodation. I was so broke, I couldn't afford a meal. I slept to gather energy because there was no food to eat, I didn't even know about bitcoins or have any to convert to fiat, It was a very terrible period for me.

I survived by getting a loan from a friend, I managed that money till the end of the month when I knew that I was expecting money. I struggled to repay the loan and within that period I also made the decision that once I was able to settle my debt, I was going to make conscious efforts so that I never find myself in that sort of position again and I never have since then.

I think when I stopped in college and can no longer pay the tuition and can't even get a students loan. I am at that point of time that I went outside the church, sitted down and just cried and telling to the air that I still want to pursue my studies.

Well, it's also due to my recklessness when I was younger and that's why I have to come up to that point of life because I didn't became serious at first when we're living well not until, my parents financial status crashed.

So whats happen now are you still in college
I'm good and thank God finished college years ago. It took me around 2-3 years to realize that I'm going nowhere and I have to set myself properly and choose the path that I have to go.

This has happened I think 10 years ago exactly or more than that. It's already long time ago but I can still vividly remember that moment of my life when there's no one to get some help and only very few is trusting me.
