$ 500 is a pretty modest number when it comes to Ethereum later this year. Currently Ethereum 2.0 is almost complete and they are just re-testing everything to make it work as perfectly as possible. I've always believed in ETH's strong fomo community, this year its price could go up to 700 $ - 900 $. Hopefully our general economy is not hurt any more, that will be able to make ETH grow even stronger.

I doubt if it can reach 800$ by the end of the year, the gas fee is killing some of the users, hopefully it will decrease so that 1000$ price will reach. if eth could decrease the fee then $800 will not become impossible

It's good to buy for now and wait what will happened, the idea of staking is really good can be a passive income.
The current value is still far from what you are predicting, though anything can happened as we are inside
cryptosphere and anything can happened once influence coming from investors will take place.

i predict that the guy will try to hodl more because his goal for eth is 1k usd . when value is at 800 usd already holding never be that hard because the price only need 200 usd more then the long wait of 1k usd will now be achieved . its no surprise that most of the people are now expecting a positive prediction for eth but am i the only one that feel that eth growth will paused for a while ? idk why i have this strange feeling in me but im not saying this to disrupt your hopes peeps . I think we can expect ETH price to be considerably higher by the end of the year, due to 2.0. There are though, as always, many potential complicating factors. If there is a DeFi scandal or something else to end the insane FOMO, then this could have a big negative impact on ETH price. Also we have to consider the wider economy, and whether any damage due to CV19 will impact crypto prices.
Right now it is incredibly challenging to give any kind of prediction about any kind of asset and that includes ethereum, we have seen two very bad days for cryptocurrencies and if I'm not wrong yesterday the stock market went down significantly as well, and if we cannot predict those kind of movements when they are so close to us trying to predict what will happen in just a few months seems to be a task that is impossible for the average trader in this market. Surprisingly ETH price has gone down to $ 390 at the moment, yesterday I saw it go up to $ 470 but now it has collapsed quickly. Given the current situation, I think by the end of 2020 ETH can only go up to 500-600 $, which would be a fair price for ETH this year.

I think it is likely the ETH prices will be in the $ 600- $ 700 range till end of this year...I see that today Ethereum is in a market correction and is down -14%, after the market correction, it is likely that the Ethereum price will continue to rise, I just hope that Eth's gas fee will decrease.
