the possibility of continuing to increase ethereum is very pronounced, because where bitcoin goes down, etherum can actually go up and survive well. Eth price will be based on ETH 2.0 which will emerge. if indeed ETH 2.0 is functioning properly and giving maximum effect, we can expect if the price touches $ 700- $ 800 by the end of 2020ETH is around 400$ now and anything above 500$ closing for this year end will be good. Lets see if bitcoin continues to rise, ETH will also rise else vice versa. So above 500$ for now is my next target for the ETH which is the minimum and hopefully it can even cross than and close much above in 2020.
Currently ETH is correcting, the price of ETH has gone down to $ 400 and is still showing signs of further decline. Hopefully it can hold above $ 380 because if this price is broken, it is more likely that ETH will go down to $ 300 again. Btw this year I hope ETH can go up to $ 600 if ETH 2.0 is updated this year
I doubt the price will surpass the $400 soon. The support line is around $250 and I prefer to wait for this decline so I can invest more in ETH. The price is not going to climb the high points all the way up, there is a need for correction sooner or later. The DeFi trend so far has been very good and if the trend can be sustained, it is very likely for Ethereum price to hit the $800-$1000 range. But if the end of the year does not reach that value then it is clear that the next year is a bullish market that is sure to hit a new ATH too, there is no doubt for me for Ethereum and the correction that has resulted in this market fluctuation continues, but Ethereum is now becoming stronger so that I will remain confident to hold it.

The price of ethereum comes pumping because of the news that 2.0 version is coming this month( but of course there might be other reason as well)ETH is one of the most promising currency next to bitcoin and already passed the $1,500 couple of years back so this is enough proof that what we are looking now is just the same digits happen in 2018 January .

DeFi boom is helping ETH. Assuming the boom sustains till end of the year I am expecting ETH to be around 700-800. But if that bubble bursts it may even drop. Dont know if DeFi bubble can sustain that long.
Other aspect is if there is a broader drop in stock market happens before end of the year(possible if Biden wins or Corona resurges in the fall again), every crypto will fall like what we saw in Feb/mar timeframe. During that time ETH dropped almost 50%. So it could increase to 700-800 and drop to 350-400 as well. One can never predict for sure.

I'm not sure ATH 2.0 will be launched before the end of the year, maybe next year, so I'm waiting for ETH ~ 500$ at the end of 2020.
In my speculation, the price of Ethereum can only break $ 600 by the end of the year because the movement of Ethereum looks quite slow, the position now only holds and will likely go down a bit

It can be more with the progress of ethereum 2.0The scalability is not yet updated. I think that we are still in the early stage. There was a bunch of updates that will have implemented in the future. It's just a matter of time until ether will break another resistance.
