a few days ago hot news / updates about ethereum made me and maybe a lot excited, and ETH prices rose markedly after the next day, it kinda showed a little backward or as I thought. Now ETH prices continue to fall! What caused this? Am I missing something?

I think after the market began to fall, many companies decided to save their investments and transferred to another cryptocurrency. Secure investors of the project. It can be. Therefore ETH continued its rapid decline.

maybe etherium will be replaced by another platform like neo or xlm, and etherium will fall more than today, maybe around 20-30$ i think.

Don't just look at one coin, you have to look at the entire market, all of the altcoins follow the price of bitcoin and ethereum is no exception. the market has lost so much money over the past couple of months and that is why the prices are falling. So ethereum falling is not just an isolated fall in prices, it is just following the entire market

I see ethereum preparing a big thing that will be announced in the near future, it's very good and when that happens, I'm sure the price will return to the range of $ 700- $ 800

Price will fall at some point, because of that i don't think there is something wrong with ethereum good news hardly increase prices these days, besides ethereum isn't the only coin falling.

Don't you worry, pal. Everything in the market is just following where Bitcoin is headed. So just hope for Bitcoin and everything else would be fine.

what happens at ETH will again increase its price because the number of investors is today because they are certain that when they invest in it they earn a great deal of money.

you should be calm if my advice because the market is indeed up and down. we must be more careful in observing the market, not only interest but we must be patient when the market rises, maybe it is fortune for us to let go if the market is declining it would be better if we were patient and maybe patience for a long time but nothing wrong besides that we explore more experience and continue to collect points of success.

you just witnessed a trend called dead cat bounce.

it is a trend that happens in a bear market or in this case an altcoin that is on its dumping phase. during that time when it has dropped significantly, there is a small recovery when price goes back up again as people FOMO buy it thinking they bought at the bottom. for example drop from $600 to $500 then recover back to $550.
then it is followed by an even bigger dump since now there would be more people selling so the drop goes in that example from $550 to $350.

this trend will continue until the asset reaches its real value at the bottom.

The whole market is still bearish. No coin will grow considerably just based off of minor news before the market returns to being bullish. The only way ETH price will increase is if there is actually significant development or if the market goes bullish.

At current time, crypto has a general bearish trend. News makes smaller variations but again they all fall into the bullish avalanche.
Ethereum holding about 100 is still a positive news for ETH holders.

I have also heard about the ethereum update news. But why do ethereum prices continue to decline? I don't think it only happens in ethereum. All altcoins also seem to be decreasing too. There may be several factors or other things that make the price of ethereum and other altcoins decrease.
