Well if you are patient enough you must hodl your coins because it may be valuable and may increase its price in the near future, you can not hodl your coins for a long time because that gem you have may become a rock someday just exchange it into money or fiat if you feel you have the enough profit or if it is worth enough the wait, or maybe you can sell it and exchange it for another gem and have another profit.

If your not believe in that coins you can just sell all of them and turn it into big coins like ETH, XLM, NEO or ETC. But my advice just hold the good one and sell if you think that project can't have a future.

I am still holding my altcoins since the market is still not good . But for me the best thing yoy could do to your alts is to chose the good one and hold especially if you think it can give you profit by holding but some that you are not sure , you can sell them when there is already a price in the exchange.

What I am doing with my altcoins is holding them right now since there is not much left to do with them. Trading is too risky for me to try with my altcoins and putting them in icos now is not an option due to all of the scam icos. So I am just waiting for the price of the altcoin to get better so I can make sure that they are sold at good prices.
