The worst experience in the crypto currency world of course I had it,
and one of the worst was selling my Ethereum for 50 ETH sold in 2020 when panic selling occurred in March,
of course I will never forget this, because it was a true experience that I will not repeat again.
What? that's a lot. Why you've to sell those? were you in need of cash by that time or you moved ETH into another crypto?
That's really was a bad decision. If I've got that amount of ETH, I'd sell 5-10 of it while keeping the remaining balance.

If it was a bad experience then I think a lot of people have had that. but my worst experience I ever had was to take the signature of a good project to join another project. even though the project is nothing for me.

The worst experience and move that I've made in crypto is to waste the time that I have rather than study and deepening my knowledge about crypto. Imagine, the market is on dump and bear from 2018 to 2020 and I didn't give some time and effort to look at what coin to buy and invest while it is on sale cause the price is very low, so that when the bull market comes, I have a lot of assets and holdings to sell. I just wasted my time and my potential income.

Surely we have a bad experience of each of us in the crypto world, and my worst experience in the crypto world is when following bounty prizes wrong in writing ethreum address So do not get a gift from the project when the results given by the team is very large, then I submitted an application but the team did not respond and at that time I could not do anything.
I also had a similar experience of promoting a bounty campaign for more than two months unfortunately all my efforts was futile because the project was a scam the bounty manager connived with the developers and went into thin air without any trace its quite unfortunate.
I was also scammed via a fake telegram linked to Binance in a bid to buy some Bitcoin it was a very terrible experience but I had overcomed it.

My worst experience in the world of crypto is not much different from most of the members here, namely the wrong steps in making decisions, and panicking too quickly. The right decision is very important in a crypto investment, my mistake is too fast to buy and too hesitant to sell. , so I will consider this as a valuable experience that won't make me go wrong the second time around

experience does teach you extraordinary things, I also have a lot to lose because of my greed that doesn't come out when the market is about to reach its limit. And slowly going down continuously for quite a while, getting hacked because I entered my private key at the address that gave the giveaway and lost 500 $ I did not know that it was a fraud, but until now I have never experienced it again.

the worst experience was every time I joined the prize hunt I always got a fake project and the project that
paid for it was not listed on the exchange and just became junk coins had no price.
The worst experience you have experienced has also been experienced by many campaign participants in general including myself as well so that such things are no longer considered bad by some people even though the time we have given for the project has been wasted.

@poster, the same thing has happened to me a couple of times in different ways though, like in 2016, I invested in a coin, the price of the coin rose to a very good amount of money but greed set in, I wanted it to go up more, it definitely went up more, and I wanted it to go up even more and more,, long story short, a coin I would have sold and made like $2300 dollars, I ended up making below $ 100 dollar when I later sold them, it was a very painful experience for me, I cried any time I imagined how much I would have made if only I wasn't too greedy, if only i sold at the peak when my spirit was telling me to, but I refused to listen... But anyways, it's a story now
similar to me, because my worst experience was when I initially invested in one of the coins and bought it at a low price then when the coin increased slightly I sold my token for a profit of $ 100 and replaced it with another coin. and at the beginning of 2021 this coin has experienced a fairly large pump. if I had held it until now I could have made a profit of $ 9000. but it doesn't matter because it can be a lesson for me and encourage me to understand every coin in the crypto market.

That is also because you did not research first before deciding to join the bounty, because usually bounties whose teams are still unclear and whose performance is still very little is a project that is not feasible to participate in.

Be honest we all got scammed by projects every now and then. It is not that simple to identify which is a scam project and which one is not. The scams became better and better. Some are obvious but some are well hidden.

but choosing the bounty campaign carefully can reduce the chances of you joining a scam project . research is always important and seems to be done, knowing the project you are following is better than following a lot of campaigns and wasting time

everyone has been through hard times in the crypto world, and you have summed up some of the experiences that I have, one of which is that I was insensitive to a market that was experiencing a decline so I lost a lot of capital in 2017, but all of that was to become experience for yourself and others here
2017 is a heyday for some people who have already understood the crypto market and crypto space in general, so that those who do not realize this will suffer losses in the following year, it is very bitter if reminded again, but it will always be a very valuable lesson.

For a number of mistakes that I've encountered in crypto, I can't remember them all. But they have some in common and that to overly expect for the project will grow, however, it was not what I saw, and lose my investment. And that was really hurt when you spend a lot of money for a certain project as we think for x10, x20 profit gains but in just a few days, it was gone.

I even think about quitting after that but instead, it gives me the courage to continue and use those mistakes as a learning tool. And it helps me to be more confident of what I'm doing with the help of those bad experiences.

Yeah right, greed inside us kills our investment journey, thinking that the hype will bring that huge amount of profits. Realizing that it just an alluring act from the developers. Mistake has been done but if you do have the courage to continue and you believe that fate will bring you to the success that you are aiming.

By continuing your chase, it will allow you to find the right system, let your mistake reminds you to keep doing your research and not to just fall with the hypes coming from this volatile industry.

My worst experience is forgot my private key and json file and stupid me i don't back up my important file in email. But after this case, i becoming be more carefull about all of my investment stuff.
Your worst experience has made you develop better because with such an incident you are more careful in taking care of everything because basically everything that the wallet gives is very important to be stored in a safe place.
Learning would really comes after with real experience which is usual stuff because you wont able to learn if you dont experience it for yourself. It isnt necessary for you to make mistakes happen
but we know that we arent perfect. We dont know everything and there are things which we are totally noob and when you do already gain that stuff then that would really be molding you to be
a better person or a trader or depending on what are the things you've been doing. You wont be a good into a particular stuff when you dont tend to engage with it.
Worst experience on crypto? for sure this would be talking about scam, loss of investment due to bad decisions and other similar things.

Back when I was working within my own crypto marketing firm I interviewed a new community moderator and everything seemed to check out just fine. I then for the first and only time due to his request and me being in desperate need of a staff member to start asap.. sent a $200 advance only to never hear from them again. Lesson learnt.
